Although natural magic took time to condense, once formed, its power and speed far surpassed ordinary spells. The wind blade, like a razor-edged gust, tore through the air and appeared in front of Baron Strucker before he had a chance to react.

His expression twisted in alarm. He could feel the immense pressure emanating from the incoming attack, but it was too fast to dodge. He raised his mechanical right arm, the Claw of Satan, to block it.

Boom!

The wind blade clashed violently against the Claw of Satan, sending out a piercing, metallic screech that felt like it would tear through eardrums.

"Hold it… full-power lightning!" Baron Strucker bellowed.

Veins bulged on his neck, his eyes bloodshot as he frantically unleashed every bit of stored electricity within the Claw of Satan. Blue arcs of lightning crackled across the metallic surface, clashing against the howling wind blade.

Crackling…

For several tense seconds, the wind blade's devastating power was slowly consumed. But by then, a deep gash had been torn into the Claw of Satan, rendering it useless. Even Strucker's chest had cracked from the force he couldn't fully contain.

"It seems your mechanical arm was built well," Kurogai's cold voice echoed. "But without it, how will you resist my next attack?"

Baron Strucker's face contorted. Struggling to look up, he saw Kurogai standing firm, a new, complex magic rune glowing in his palm — already prepared.

The time Baron Strucker wasted resisting the last attack was more than enough for Kurogai to condense another wind blade.

"Damn it, I—" Strucker started, but Kurogai didn't give him the chance.

Without hesitation, Kurogai unleashed the wind blade in his hand, the lethal gust tearing through the air like a gale.

This wasn't the time for grand speeches or giving his opponent a chance to counter. On the battlefield, hesitation meant death. The instant Baron Strucker made even a slight movement, Kurogai struck.

"Damn it! I hate this!" Strucker roared, but there was nowhere left to run, and no means to defend himself.

Without the Claw of Satan, he was vulnerable. Even though his body had been mutated by the Death Spore Virus, granting him near indestructibility, this wind blade carried concentrated magic power meant to kill.

Crack!

A sharp, clean cut echoed through the chamber as the wind blade sliced through Baron Strucker's body. The walls behind him cracked from the force, a visible gash marking the stone surface.

The single slash didn't just cut Strucker down — it tore through the entire base.

"I told you, I'll be the one to wipe Hydra off the map. Did you really think I'd let you leave here alive?" Kurogai said coldly, watching as Baron Strucker's halved body fell.

Cough, cough… Despite being cleaved in two, Strucker's mutated body clung to life. His pale face twisted into a grin.

"You might think you've won, but you'll die here too," he spat.

Kurogai frowned.

"I forgot to mention — my body's infected with the Death Spore Virus. The moment I die, it'll spread through the air. You, and everyone else left in this base, won't survive."

Strucker's bloodstained grin widened. It was his final trump card. Even in death, he planned to drag Kurogai to the grave with him.

"You'll be disappointed," Kurogai replied coldly.

He activated the sling ring on his finger, simultaneously constructing two spells — one for a spatial portal and another for a conjured magic sword.

A glowing rune formed on his right palm.

With a flick of his wrist, the magic sword shot forward like a bolt of light.

"Die with me!" Strucker shrieked, summoning the last remnants of his strength to curse Kurogai.

But Kurogai didn't even look back. The instant the sword flew, he stepped through the portal.

A split second later, the blade pierced Strucker's heart, and the portal vanished.

Boom!

The magic sword detonated inside Strucker's chest, shattering his heart and reducing his body to ash. The infamous leader of Hydra was utterly annihilated.

At the same time, countless Death Spore Viruses surged out, engulfing the entire Hydra base. Every remaining Hydra soldier, every prisoner who hadn't escaped, was consumed, leaving behind nothing but brittle, withered bones.

And with that, Baron Strucker and his base were erased from existence.
