Marvel: NIHILITY

So , after the last chapter, things got heated a little in the comments. I mean, some of you experienced it firsthand how disgusting people can be for no reason 💀

I'm not gonna talk about that anymore. Why bother! You can't reason with insanity or stupidity.

Now then, I'm honestly not sure what to do . I have about 3 books of my own and a translation I was doing. I even planned to start my crack fic for pure entertainment. I haven't written anything this week, you can guess why.

Continuing here feels not safe . I am honestly tired of dealing with the shit. I mean, I don't make money off this, I don't even set power stone goals or anything, just ask to enjoy my work and give feedback, maybe logically point out some flaws so I can better myself.

Not sure if Patreon has a affordable version, The lowest is around 5$ monthly, not to mention folks who don't have cards or payment options. Some just want to read free, like me xD

I mean, the story is based on a comic book universe, the writers have done their job. I'm just writing a different version of it. Piggybacking on that is not okay, but hey, people are doing it still.

Is there any other decent platforms you can recommend that has less toxicity and fun interactive community? If it's free that's also great.

I'd rather not contribute more to this site. Why generate more traffic for a site that doesn't care about its content creators 🤷🏼‍♂️

I've been here for more than 5 years, I honestly felt the quality of works here was decent. I have some my favourite stories here. Some of them which inspired me to write myself. Not to mention occasional cultural stuff browsing 😏 It was fun till I started writing...

Author bashing is fine. You have your own tastes. But why read a story you hate and spend time criticizing it! I've criticized some folks, badly even, cz they wrote some pretty questionable and disgusting stuff. Yet I didn't stick around, I left after expressing my opinions. Cz why read something I won't enjoy.

I'll have to totally stop checking comments if I were to continue here, for the fear of seeing some trash comments that destroy my mood . That's gonna be like writing blindly, and something I don't like.

I feel personally that if someone can take 5-10 minutes of their daily life and read my work, I can spend at least 5 seconds reading their comment. Not to mention there are questions and explanations about plot.

So, I'm still deciding the right way forward. As I said, I have a full time job, I don't have much free time. So I'd rather do something I enjoy rather than fighting with people! I have enough stress as it is.

Your thoughts on this?
