Chapter 123: Marvel 123
As they walked, the two men arrived at a private lounge area. Go Gunhee invited Matt to sit across from him, his demeanor shifting to one of seriousness.
"Mr. Matt," he began, leaning slightly forward, "I've seen many talented hunters over the years, but I must ask—are you absolutely certain you can face this dungeon alone? The Jeju Island dungeon isn't just any S-rank; it's claimed some of the best hunters in the world."
Matt smiled faintly, his confidence unwavering. "President Go, I appreciate your concern, but I assure you—I'm more than prepared for this. Trust me, the Ant Queen and her minions won't stand a chance."
Go Gunhee studied Matt's expression for a moment, as if trying to gauge the truth behind his words. Finally, he leaned back in his chair, nodding slowly.
"Very well," he said, though the worry in his eyes remained. "I'll respect your decision. But if things go wrong, know that the Hunter Association will be ready to provide backup."
Matt nodded in acknowledgment. "I'll keep that in mind, but I won't need it."
With that, the conversation shifted to logistics, and Go Gunhee shared details about the dungeon's layout and previous failed attempts to clear it.
"Also, they will accompany you," President Go said as the door opened, revealing three of Korea's S-rank hunters.
Matt turned his gaze to the trio entering the room: Baek Yun-ho, the S-rank hunter with a White Tiger transformation ability; Cho Jong-In, an S-rank Pyromancer; and Lim Tae-Gyu, a master Archer.
"These three are our S-rank hunters. They'll remain on standby in case you need any assistance," President Go explained.
Matt nodded respectfully. "Nice to meet you all," he said, his tone polite.
Baek Yun-ho stepped forward, crossing his arms as he looked Matt up and down. "Kid, do you think this is some kind of joke?" he asked, his hair turning white and his eyes glowing yellow as his aura began to rise. "During the last raid, an S-rank hunter was devoured alive by those ants. You think you can do this alone?"
Matt's expression remained calm as he replied, "I'll let my abilities speak for themselves."
Without warning, Matt unleashed his mana, summoning seven powerful auras around him. The pressure was overwhelming, causing the S-rank hunters and President Go to tense up. From the shadows, enormous, terrifying creatures emerged, each radiating power beyond that of a typical S-rank summon.
"I'm a Summoner," Matt said, his voice steady. "I'm never alone."
The room fell silent as everyone stared in awe at the monsters standing behind Matt. Even Baek Yun-ho, who had initially mocked him, seemed taken aback by the sheer power on display.
President Go finally broke the silence, his voice laced with a mix of amazement and concern. "Those monsters... they each are S rank monsters."
Matt turned to him and nodded. "I'll start the raid right after signing the agreement," he said confidently.
President Go hesitated for a moment before nodding in agreement. If it had been anyone else, he would have insisted on rest and preparation, but seeing the terrifying monsters Matt commanded, he realized it might not be necessary.
Later, in front of the press and the public, the agreement was officially signed. Cameras flashed as reporters eagerly documented the moment. The crowd murmured in shock when it was announced that Matt would be starting the raid immediately.
As Matt prepared to depart for Jeju Island, another S-rank hunter approached, offering their support. However, Matt declined, stating, "I'll handle it alone. Trust me."
With that, he boarded the helicopter bound for the S-rank dungeon, leaving the world to wonder if they were witnessing the rise of a new legend or downfall of an fool.

The ride to Jeju Island was brief, but Matt wasn't entirely alone. Along with him was a cameraman tasked with recording his progress and a drone operator who would stay in the helicopter, controlling drones to monitor the island from the sky.
"Just hover over the island. Don't land unless I give the signal," Matt instructed the pilot and the crew. As the helicopter circled, Matt gazed down at the sprawling, infested landscape below.
Upon landing at the edge of the island, Matt activated one of his newly acquired skills: Domain of the Executioner. A massive, glowing barrier formed around the entire island, radiating an ominous energy. This domain was absolute—the only way to leave was simple yet brutal: defeat him, or die trying.
The cameraman, who had been nervously fidgeting, glanced at Matt. "Is this... necessary? That barrier... it's terrifying."
Matt simply smirked. "I prefer not to have anyone fleeing mid-fight. This ensures they stay focused."
The drone operator, seated safely in the helicopter, chimed in through the comms. "All drones are live and ready to feed visuals. The island is crawling with those ant monsters. Are you sure you don't need backup?"
Matt adjusted his jacket and stepped forward, the ground beneath his feet cracking under the weight of his aura. "Backup? I'll be fine. Keep those drones rolling—this will be over before you know it."
Under the watchful eyes of everyone, both present and across the world watching through the cameraman's live feed, Matt casually picked up a chair, turned it around, and sat on it, resting his arms across the back. He gestured with ease toward the golden barrier surrounding the island and then at the seven powerful monsters that appeared behind him.
"Hmm, I'm a summoner," he said with a confident smirk, "so let me introduce my team."
With a wave of his hand, he pointed to the monsters, each radiating an overwhelming aura that made even the cameraman step back nervously.
The camera zoomed in as Matt continued, his tone calm but filled with authority. "These aren't your typical summons. They're the best of the best, creatures that you'd be lucky—or unlucky—to see in your lifetime."
The feed showed the terrifying lineup of monsters, each standing tall and exuding power, their presence enough to make viewers around the world gasp in awe.
