🌇 "Even love can be rewritten."

Previously:

Xylo's sister, now the rogue slicer Fuselle, was finally brought back from corruption. But behind her control spell lies something bigger.

Meanwhile, tension rises between Starwave and Heartlight, who has grown distant ever since Xylo reconnected with Fuselle.

Now… someone is missing. And someone else may be behind it.

[ACT I – "Where is He?"]

Scene: Tokyo Avengers Base – Morning

The usual breakfast energy is off. Nekoburst taps her foot while eating chips.

NEKOBURST:

"Okay. Anyone seen glowing boy? Heartlight was on rooftop duty last night."

Scarlet Onna narrows her eyes.

SCARLET ONNA:

"He never reported in. He didn't come back."

Onmyo Flare holds up a scorched sigil.

ONMYO FLARE:

"Found this outside the perimeter. Burned from the inside."

Starwave stands suddenly.

STARWAVE (shaken):

"What?"

Cut to a rooftop cam feed — Heartlight, alone, pacing… then suddenly disappears in a flash of white light, sucked into the sky like a torn star.

[ACT II – The Tracer's Lie]

Scene: SHIELD Tokyo Outpost

Starwave storms into the command center, confronting Fury's stand-in agent, Ayane Ko. Her voice is cold.

STARWAVE:

"Where. Is. He?"

Ayane clicks her tongue and pulls up the satellite feeds.

AYANE:

"He didn't trigger any rift. This wasn't teleportation. It was... tampering."

She brings up a corrupted stream. A signature pulses faintly.

SCARLET ONNA:

"A voice imprint?"

VOICE (female, echoing):

"Your light is mine to reshape."

ONMYO FLARE (tense):

"She's real."

They all turn to him.

ONMYO FLARE:

"The one controlling Kasai, manipulating Fuselle. I felt her magic then — delicate, quiet, obsessed with design."

STARWAVE (furious):

"And you're just telling us NOW?"

[ACT III – Mirror Maze**

Scene: Abandoned Tokyo Fashion Dome – Now cloaked in runes

The Avengers infiltrate what was once a high-end concert venue — now twisted.

Inside: floating mirrors, glittering threads across the walls, mannequins with no faces, and flickering lights shaped like petals and hearts.

SCARLET ONNA (whisper):

"This is designed for confusion. Each of these threads... they're reality wires."

Suddenly, Starwave hears music. Familiar. Her own voice.

She follows it — down the mirror hallway.

[ACT IV – The Dream Room**

Scene: Within the Mirror Construct

Starwave walks into an exact recreation of her concert stage, fans screaming (faceless), lights bright, music pounding.

But at the center… a cage of crystal.

Inside it: Heartlight, suspended midair, unconscious.

STARWAVE (rushes forward):

"NO—"

She stops. Someone sits on a red velvet throne at the edge of the stage.

💄 NEW VILLAIN: MARQUISA MASQUE

The Glam Witch of Reflection

Power: Mirror Weaving – can create reflective prisons, clone emotions, twist identities through performance-based sorcery

Weapon: A twin-bladed parasol that spins into illusions and cuts

Aesthetic: Like a Kabuki villain met a burlesque magician. Elaborate makeup, Victorian–Japanese blend.

MARQUISA MASQUE (purring):

"Ah, the diva arrives. Shall we perform... heartbreak?"

She raises a hand — and clones of Starwave appear, each in different outfits, each representing old concerts. They begin to dance-fight.

[ACT V – Sonic Break**

Starwave is forced to fight herself. Memories of her idol days, insecurities, failures. Every move is a mirrored choreography.

She hesitates — but then snaps her fingers.

Her heels light up, and she SLAMS them into the floor.

BOOM.

A wave of pink and violet sound shatters the mirrored stage.

STARWAVE (tears in her eyes):

"I'm not just the girl on stage anymore."

The clones vanish.

The crystal cage cracks — and Heartlight falls forward into her arms.

His eyes flutter open.

HEARTLIGHT (weakly):

"You came."

She smirks, holding him tightly.

STARWAVE:

"Of course I did, idiot."

Marquisa Masque sneers, spinning her parasol.

MASQUE:

"Curtain's dropped. But I'm not done yet."

[ENDING SCENE – Back at Base]

Heartlight rests, but he's silent. Something inside him is… off. Like his light flickers.

Nekoburst watches silently from the windows.

NEKOBURST:

"So who's next on her stage?"
