Chapter 35: Chapter 33: The Fall of Umbrella Tokyo

Hello, I hope you are all having a good day so far. I woke up at 5am to get started on this since I have a bunch of stuff to do today. I'd like to give an honorary mention to these people who gave their powerstones, I salute you: Ben_Olds, ASURA69s, Jimmy_Kibble, Meet_Dutta, Jandher, Sarah_Bailey, and Freddyp. Now please enjoy the following chapter.

The battle was inevitable, but any notion of a prolonged siege was quickly dismissed. The enemy was hopelessly outgunned. Our forces had the advantage in firepower, tactics, and sheer overwhelming might.

The Umbrella Tokyo facility loomed before us, an impenetrable fortress to most. A colossal metal gate stood at its entrance, reinforced with the highest-grade security technology that the corporation had to offer. But we were the Fortress of Science—we made the highest-grade technology. This door was nothing but an inconvenience.

"Exodus!" I called, and like a specter of destruction, he materialized beside me, his crimson energy pulsing like a living flame.

He smirked. "I assume you want this door removed, my liege?"

"If you would be so kind."

With a mere thought, Exodus reached out with his immense psionic power, gripping the steel door as though it were paper. With an earsplitting screech of metal, he ripped it from its hinges and sent it flying into the distance like discarded trash.

The Alices let out a cheer. My thousand-strong army of elite veterans stood ready, weapons raised, eyes gleaming behind their helmets. The city streets trembled beneath our assembled power. The fortress had been breached. It was time to purge Umbrella.

The first order of business? Stopping Wesker from pulling his usual tricks. Nexus floated beside me, his holographic eye flickering as he scanned the facility's systems.

"Master Stark, Umbrella has placed automated self-destruction triggers on every level. Estimated chance of detonation upon reaching Wesker: 99.3%."

I sighed. "Of course he has. Well, let's put an end to that nonsense right now."

Nexus linked into the facility's security network, his code hacking Umbrella's systems at an alarming rate. "Self-destruction disabled," he announced. "I have also sealed Wesker's escape routes and disabled all surveillance feeds. He is blind and trapped."

"Perfect." I turned to the others. "Alright, boys and girls, let's show them what happens when you mess with the Fortress of Science!"

We descended into the facility level by level, carving a path of destruction through the soulless monstrosities Umbrella had left in our way.

The upper levels were flooded with standard B.O.W.s (Bio Organic Weapon)—zombies, Lickers, and the occasional Tyrant-class experiment. They might have been terrifying to normal humans, but to us? They were mere target practice.

The Alices went in first, slicing through the hordes like a coordinated hurricane of death. Their new enhancements made them unstoppable. Their movements were too fast for the undead to track, their blades cutting through flesh and bone as if they were nothing but air. Their reinforced armor made them impervious to any counterattack, and even if something did manage to land a hit, the 24th chromosome ensured their bodies healed at an accelerated rate.

Bullets rained from our army's weapons, reducing the hordes to twitching, broken corpses before they could even get close. Phineas Mason, ever the weapons enthusiast, had personally designed each soldier's arsenal—assault rifles that eviscerated targets on contact, and compact BFGs for the heavy hitters.

And then there was Exodus. The sheer carnage he unleashed with his psionics was glorious.

At one point, a wall of mutated creatures came stampeding toward us, grotesque amalgamations of Umbrella's worst creations. Exodus merely raised a hand. The air crackled, the temperature in the corridor plummeted, and then—with a single sweeping gesture—he unleashed a telekinetic shockwave that disintegrated everything in its path. The walls buckled under the force, the very ground trembling beneath his might.

"Twas' no effort," he mused, dusting imaginary debris from his shoulder.

"Show-off," I muttered, but I was very pleased.

By the time we reached the lower levels, the resistance grew more desperate. Umbrella's elite soldiers—their Combat Units—tried to hold us off, but they were fighting a losing battle.

Alice herself led the charge against them, moving like a phantom between enemy lines. She deflected bullets with her blade, twisted through the air with superhuman agility, and brought down foes with pinpoint accuracy. The Alices followed suit, mirroring their original's brutal efficiency. It was an absolute massacre.

Wesker's personal experiments—Nemesis-like super soldiers—were the next to fall. Armin Zola had insisted we bring containment units to capture at least one for study, but the rest? Burned, dismembered, and annihilated.

Finally, we reached the last chamber. The control center. The heart of the Tokyo facility. And standing in the middle of it, clad in his sleek black suit, was Albert Wesker himself.

He clapped slowly as we entered. "Well, well, well. This is quite the welcoming party. And here I thought I'd be facing off against Alice alone."

Alice took a step forward, but I held out a hand to stop her. "No need for that. He's already lost."

Wesker chuckled, adjusting his sunglasses. "Lost? I'm afraid you underestimate me, child. I am perfection. No one here can match me."

I smiled. "I love when villains say that. It makes what happens next so much more satisfying."

Without another word, I teleported in front of him, grabbed his sunglasses, and snapped them in half.

His smirk vanished. "That was unnecessary."

"Yeah, well, so was injecting yourself with a virus that turned you into a wannabe Matrix reject, but here we are."

He lunged, his movements faster than any normal human could track—but not faster than me.

I teleported behind him before he even reached where I had been standing. Exodus took that moment to crush him with an invisible force, sending him crashing to his knees.

Alice stepped forward, leveling her gun at him. "I've been waiting for this."

I put a hand on her shoulder. "Hold that thought. First, Nexus? Devour the White Queen and absorb everything."

"Acknowledged," Nexus responded, linking into the Tokyo system.

Wesker struggled against Exodus' hold, his golden eyes blazing. "You think this ends with me? You have no idea what's coming."

Alice didn't even hesitate. She pulled the trigger.

A single bullet, laced with a custom-made viral disruptor, entered his skull.

And Albert Wesker was no more.

With the facility wiped, the data secured, and Umbrella's influence shattered, the mission was complete.

I turned to my assembled forces. "Ladies and gentlemen, that was fun. Let's head back to the warehouse we secured as our HQ."

With a simple command, we returned, and one by one, the Fortress of Science withdrew, leaving behind nothing but ruin.

Umbrella had fallen. And this was only the beginning.
