The outcome was almost inevitable.

"But don't worry, Kushina is very strong. I heard that the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki and the Two-Tails Jinchūriki are no match for her; and anyone who dares to speak ill of you, Kushina won't let that person get away with it."

Being able to walk so close to the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki quietly, and at such a young age, Kushina displayed the strength of a top-tier ninja powerhouse. 

Now, Sarutobi and the others probably regret their actions, their toes turning blue in regret. Thinking about this made Orochimaru feel a sense of satisfaction in his heart.

Although he had already suspected that Sarutobi Hiruzen would target him, Orochimaru still couldn't help but feel disappointed when Sarutobi was caught up in the political struggle.

"Is there such a thing? The Third Raikage is too foolish. Just a few Six Paths ninjas..."

Kain smiled upon hearing the words and said indifferently, "The Daimyo shouldn't be so stupid. If he were truly that foolish, I'd make sure he steps down early."

A ninja village leader threatening the daimyo to hand over a country's minister?

The Third Raikage does have that kind of ability, and Cloud Shinobi Village can pull it off, but he's foolish enough to touch the bottom line of the daimyo and the nobles of various countries.

Ninjas are tools in the hands of the daimyo and the nobles, and now this tool is actually threatening its master. 

Although Kain doesn't hold real power in the Land of Fire, he is still a minister, and only a few people hold a higher status than him.

Let the Third Raikage taste some consequences today; there may be some trouble in the future. Sarutobi Hiruzen is also foolish. This kind of thing shouldn't even be considered—it's too obvious to act against him.

Kain quickly figured out what the next issue of the newspaper would be, and ensured both the Third Hokage and the daimyo would like to read it.

"On the Status of Ninjas "

Once this newspaper is sent out, it will plant thorns in the hearts of the daimyos of all countries, even the daimyo of the Land of Thunder, who have befriended Cloud Shinobi Village. 

No one will be exempt from its impact.

This war should not last long. In fact, it could be said that Konoha won't last long. Even though the Fire Nation daimyo increased material support to Konoha due to the White Fang incident, unlimited support is impossible.

The war has lasted over a year, and even with logistical supplies and war funds, the number of ninjas can't keep up.

Orochimaru also plans to have a decisive battle with Sand Shinobi in the near future. He has shown weakness three times and moved camp once; it seems the Third Kazekage is about to take the bait. He believe the war will end soon.

After receiving some news from Orochimaru, Kain left Ryūchi Cave. Before he departed, Ichikishimahime clung to him, reluctant to let him go. 

But Kain kicked her away, and then the Reverse Summoning Technique was lifted.

"Looks like I'm heading to the capital..."

Distance is no longer a problem for Kain. Now, there is no one who can threaten him in the ninja world, except for Ōtsutsuki; threats really don't hold much weight in Kain's eyes.

Kain is a bit of a rogue, capable of destroying Cloud Shinobi Village and leaving the Third Raikage completely helpless against him.

After apparating to the capital of the Land of Fire, Kain didn't go to the pharmacy or the newspaper office. Instead, he went directly to the Daimyo Mansion.

Although the unit price is higher, the popularity of Viagra in the ninja world is evident. People with a little money will try to buy a couple of pills. 

After all, to a certain extent, it's not just a medicine—it's a man's dignity.

Under the promotion of "Ninja Weekly", Viagra's sales were booming, at least across the entire Land of Fire. 

But Kain didn't care much about the money in the ninja world. Orochimaru's progress might be faster than his, and Kain couldn't afford to lag behind.

Outside the Daimyo Mansion, Kain was escorted to the castle tower after a guard communicated with the inner chambers.

Once inside, he found that only the daimyo and a few servants were present, but there were at least four people hidden in the shadows. One of them felt familiar to Kain; it was likely Hatake Sakumo.

"Kain-san, it's been a long time. I didn't expect you to leave so suddenly," the daimyo said with a smile, as if greeting an old friend.

Kain smiled and replied, "I found a few treasures outside, so it took longer than expected. But when I returned, the people below told me that Cloud Shinobi Village invaded the Land of Fire because of me. So, I came to find you, Daimyo-sama, in haste."

"The Third Raikage... don't worry about him. I've already sent an envoy to contact the daimyo of the Land of Lightening. This time, the Third Raikage is just a bit confused," the Fire Nation daimyo said, his expression turning angry as he mentioned the Third Raikage. 

But his mood shifted when he became intrigued by the treasure Kain had mentioned.

"Kain-san, what treasure is it?" the daimyo asked curiously.

"A defensive ring that can automatically defend itself. It's a great help for those of us who travel outside. It's not something you would notice easily, though. Why don't you let this maid demonstrate it?"

Kain took out a box from his bosom and presented it to the daimyo. In reality, this was a magical item Kain had created using alchemy. 

It had two main functions—protection and recovery—but the third effect was spiritual influence.

If used for too long, the wearer would eventually be controlled by Kain. It had a similar effect to Voldemort's Horcruxes and was a standard Dark Magic item.
