Chapter 266: Chapter 266: The Birth of Red Queen
Hela lay on the sofa, her thoughts growing increasingly unsettled. She hurriedly went out to look for Alan, only to find that even his shadow was nowhere to be seen.
"Ran off so quickly?" Hela muttered as she stood amidst the crowd, scanning her surroundings. A suspicion about Alan's identity began to form in her mind.
In Sokovia, Alan appeared. The moment he landed, he felt the surging energy of Red Queen. Without delay, he summoned her, the Mind Stone floating before him.
To ensure this operation remained unnoticed, Alan had specifically instructed Red Queen to use the Space Stone to conceal the base.
"Let's begin," Alan said.
Red Queen immediately commenced calculations. Countless green threads extended from the Mind Stone, intertwining in the air. Vibranium materialized, slowly merging together.
Alan watched the unfolding scene with a solemn expression. Perhaps today, the supercomputer Red Queen would transform into a being with a human body.
In a hidden space unseen by anyone, a cluster of data suddenly emerged. It was red, representing Red Queen. Opposite it, a cluster of green mist appeared—energy radiating from the Mind Stone, ancient and profound.
Red Queen approached the Mind Stone. The moment she made contact, countless thread-like tendrils extended from the stone, firmly entangling her. She suddenly felt a shift in perspective, as if her third-person view had abruptly turned into a first-person one.
This strange change filled Red Queen with delight. She could even see Alan's face clearly now.
The light within the base suddenly exploded outward, scattering the surrounding snowstorm. Alan fixed his gaze on the mass of Vibranium. Before long, it turned transparent and then morphed into a human form.
Through the fusion of Umbrella Corporation's genetic formulas, Vibranium, and the Mind Stone, a five- or six-year-old girl appeared before Alan.
She had waist-length, curly golden hair and a tender face devoid of any expression. Alan's eyes widened as he stared at Red Queen.
"Isn't this… Alice?"
Indeed, Red Queen had chosen to model her physical body after the young Alice from Resident Evil. When she opened her eyes, she looked at Alan with a hint of confusion before gently extending her hand.
Though filled with questions, Alan was overjoyed. He reached out and lightly touched Red Queen's hand. The sensation on his fingertips made Red Queen close her eyes in sheer excitement.
"I have my own body now," she said softly, her voice filled with the wonder of a newborn discovering the world.
Alan followed behind her, watching as she walked through the snow. Her golden hair was dusted with white flakes, making her resemble a lost spirit in the snowy mountains.
After some time, Red Queen finally skipped back to Alan's side, her expression now cold and indifferent.
"Had your fun?" Alan asked.
Red Queen closed her eyes, seemingly lost in thought. "My earlier behavior must have been influenced by the Mind Stone. From now on, I remain the supercomputer, Red Queen."
Alan nodded, though he had already noticed something amiss. The Mind Stone possessed its own personality, much like Vision. Although Red Queen retained her machine-like functions, she could now truly be called human—a superhuman, no less.
"What about the Space Stone?" Alan asked on their way back.
Red Queen replied, "I've already mastered how to use the Space Stone to perform spatial warps."
