Marvel: Undercover in S.H.I.E.L.D., I'm So Evil

Chapter 158: Chapter 158

Kurohane, the Mage, naturally knew that the target Storm was aiming for wasn't Phoenix, but Apocalypse, who was preparing to teleport! Seeing Apocalypse brutally attack Mystique, the great hero among Mutants, Storm, who viewed her as an idol, immediately prepared to turn against him. Coupled with Kurohane and Phoenix making their moves one after another, she decisively chose to join the side with the advantage! She would help whoever won!

However, there was no other way to overcome this. The environment Storm lived in before being discovered by Apocalypse was like this. She was used to standing behind the strong, this was her rule of survival. But Kurohane, the Mage, didn't think like that! Just when he was about to snatch the kill, how could he let Storm interfere! If it weren't for the fact that he couldn't solo kill Apocalypse himself, he would surely want to push Phoenix aside right now!

He opened a portal and tossed Storm to the unconscious Deadpool.

Bang—!

Their heads collided violently. Deadpool, who had been reaching out and fumbling at Nightcrawler, was startled. Then he peacefully passed out. Storm's vision also darkened, and she fainted, lying on Deadpool's body. Kurohane, the Mage's actions were twofold: first, to give Deadpool a little 'benefit,' and second, to let this young Storm witness the evil in the hearts of men.

Apocalypse's figure gradually blurred, seeming to successfully teleport. But a portal appeared right beside Apocalypse, continuously expanding its range. It cut the bluish-purple shield he was preparing to use for spatial movement into two different spaces, interrupting Apocalypse's teleportation process. Magneto exerted his last bit of strength, summoning dozens of sharp spikes to pin Apocalypse to the ground.

Seeing Apocalypse about to be taken down by everyone's combined efforts, Kurohane, the Mage, appeared, wielding a holy light longsword. With a flap of his four light wings, he appeared before Apocalypse.

"False god! Now let's see you..."

Just as Kurohane, the Mage, was preparing to show off using the Phoenix Force, the originally scorching Phoenix Force vanished. Jean, who had been standing in the air, fell to the ground with a "sizzle." Below Kurohane, the Mage's questioning gaze, Jean, covered in dust, lifted her head.

"Kurohane, Mage, the rest... is up to you! Gaa—!"

Seeing Jean, who had decisively fainted, Kurohane, the Mage, felt as if his world had crumbled!

Kurohane, Mage: This guy is clearly here to cause trouble! How strong is the Phoenix Force? Even dimensional demons are no match for it. Jean has fainted because she's exhausted her mental energy. As for where her mental energy was used... She used it to suppress her Phoenix Force! This is why Kurohane, the Mage, doesn't like going on missions with beginners. The enemy hasn't even been defeated. They've only gained an advantage, and the beginners are already thinking about popping champagne and getting ready to go home for dinner!

"Hahahaha, this world has given me too many surprises! Without that troublesome woman, how do you think you can kill me? I am an immortal god!" Phoenix had fallen, and Apocalypse felt confident again! Among everyone present, only Jean could be a threat to him. Kurohane, the Mage, looked like an Angel from mythology with light wings appearing behind him. But the energy attacks he unleashed weren't fatal to him; they could only consume his mental energy. If it weren't for something like the Phoenix Force, which could erase both his body and soul simultaneously, he would eventually recover to his original state!

Kurohane, the Mage, was also speechless at this moment. The team fight was halfway through, and the ADC had gone AFK! After a quick scan of his skill bar, Kurohane, the Mage, decisively came to a conclusion. There was only one type of skill that could deal with Apocalypse. Either throw Apocalypse into the Holy Dimension, or throw Apocalypse into the Gates of Hell! With his current abilities alone, he definitely couldn't erase Apocalypse's soul and body at the same time. So he needed a little outside help. As the favored child of the Holy Dimension, Kurohane, the Mage, could naturally open the door to the Holy Dimension. The other was the Gates of Hell, which could scare Deadpool into crawling away!

Considering that the Holy Dimension was equivalent to half of this world's Heaven, he couldn't let Apocalypse, this failure, benefit from it. So Kurohane, the Mage, began to summon that one, the Gates of Hell, which had never fully revealed itself until now! As for whether some messy demons would come out of the Gates of Hell... That was beyond Kurohane, the Mage's consideration. If the sky fell, Phoenix would hold it up! For now, Apocalypse would hold it first!

As Apocalypse prepared to pull the steel bars from his body, a strange magic circle appeared at his feet. Bizarre spatial fluctuations emerged, paralyzing Apocalypse's movements, so much so that he couldn't even move his eyelids! However, this time the magic circle for summoning the Gates of Hell changed color, becoming a magic circle that emitted black mist. Previously, in the world of Spider-Man, when Kurohane, the Mage, summoned the Gates of Hell, the magic circle that appeared had green flames. But the gate's material remained unchanged; it was still obsidian, a typical Hell color scheme!

When the obsidian gate fully appeared, Apocalypse was utterly stunned! Apocalypse was no god; he knew himself that he wasn't a god, but merely a means of ruling humanity using various Mutant abilities. He knew better than anyone that so-called gods were lies, tools created to rule humankind. Gods indeed didn't exist! But now, the Gates of Hell appearing before him proved one thing to him. Perhaps there were no gods in this world, but there was definitely Hell!!!

A vortex of red energy appeared in the hollow center of the obsidian gate. This energy ran wild, uncontrolled. Until a white hand reached out from the gate, gripping the obsidian doorframe!

Buzz—!

A strange energy fluctuation emerged, and the time of the entire world stopped, falling into absolute silence. The only one who could move was Kurohane, the Mage. Perhaps it was because this gate was summoned by him. Or perhaps, the owner of that hand deliberately allowed him to move freely. It wasn't until he saw the owner of that hand that Kurohane, the Mage, realized how big of a mess this was today. Not to mention him, even Phoenix might not be able to handle it!

A pale, middle-aged man with a receding hairline appeared. He wore a crisp white suit. He walked out of the Gates of Hell barefoot, but his naked feet were covered in black tar!

"Kurohane, Mage, Lucifer Morningstar greets you."
