Chapter 26: SuperSuits!
TWO WEEKS LATER
Maxim's estate was a testament to his relentless ambition and meticulous planning. The estate itself had undergone a complete transformation over the past month and a half, evolving from a simple safe-house into a veritable fortress.
Every corner, every corridor, and every room served a purpose, honed to perfection by Maxim's obsessive attention to detail as he improved their technology and defenses.
The training area was no exception. Maxim had used his Cosmic Power to completely transform it. The new training area new stretched across an expansive underground space, a labyrinthine complex filled with the most advanced training technology he could create.
Holographic projection systems, automated turrets, and shifting terrain simulators created an environment where any combat scenario could be replicated.
A.N.G.E.L's presence had massively helped Maxim implement many of the recent changes, and regulate all occurrences.
The training facility was now as much a testing ground for Maxim's ever-expanding abilities as it was a place of development for his allies.
Currently, within the training ground, Pietro streaked across a complex obstacle course, blurred flashes of silver and blue all that remained in his wake as sonic booms emitted from his movements.
Over the past couple of weeks of training, Pietro had successfully passed the Sound Barrier, moving faster and faster, and growing stronger and stronger. His acceleration speed, reactions and thinking speed had all improved at the same time.
He had also improved in basic combat skills with Maxim's mandatory close combat training, just in case he ever needed it. All of this training had made Pietro much stronger comprehensively compared to his MCU counterpart.
He constantly tested himself in the obstacle course, wanting to improve himself more and more. Each challenge in the course demanded split-second decision-making, testing not just his raw speed but his reflexes and agility.
He zipped through a narrow alley of rotating blades, skidded under a descending energy barrier, and launched himself up a vertical wall that seemed insurmountable to anyone else.
He landed deftly on the final platform, a grin stretching across his face as he straightened up, his chest heaving with exertion but his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Across the training area, his sister Wanda was immersed in her own practice. Crimson tendrils of chaos magic twisted and wove around her, forming complex geometric shapes in mid-air.
Her eyes narrowed as she manipulated the energy, shaping it into a myriad of forms, a spiraling vortex, a protective shield, a latticework of chains that flickered like fire.
With Maxim's guidance, Wanda's mastery of her powers had progressed at an astonishing rate. The biggest thing Maxim did was make sure Wanda didn't limit herself to just psychic abilities and energy blasts.
He pushed her to constantly use her imagination, to constantly go above and beyond, to use her magic like a brush on a canvas. She had come to shape the Chaos Energy to her will, and direct it with precision.
As she continued her training, a surge of familiar power washed over the room, and the twins both turned as Maxim entered, his presence commanding immediate attention. Even as time passed, Maxim was still an insurmountable mountain in the twins' hearts.
They had conducted many sparring sessions over the recent period, but they were less spars and more beatdowns, as Maxim systematically crushed them effortlessly. It constantly reminded them to not get arrogant.
"Maxim," Wanda greeted, her voice steady but tinged with curiosity, "We didn't expect you down here."
"Hey, what's up, boss?" Pietro chimed in, his casual tone contrasting with the tension in the air. He wiped sweat from his brow, still breathing heavily from his exertions.
Maxim's lips curved into a small smile, "I've got some news that you both are going to want to hear."
He gestured for them to follow as he moved toward the exit, his pace unhurried but purposeful. The twins exchanged a glance before falling in step behind him, their expressions a mix of curiosity and anticipation.
The three of them walked through the dimly lit corridors, passing by rooms filled with equipment, research materials, and weapon prototypes, each one a testament to Maxim's ingenuity and the resources he had amassed.
A hum of energy vibrated in the air, an almost palpable sense of anticipation that seemed to grow stronger as they approached their destination.
"A.N.G.E.L. just alerted me that your suits are ready," Maxim began, his voice calm yet laced with excitement. "It's taken longer than expected, but I wanted everything to be perfect. These suits are more than just armor; they're a culmination of all the technology and resources we've gathered, Vibranium, Graphene, Nanotech, and, of course, some enhancements drawn from my Cosmic energy."
Pietro's eyes widened in surprise, "Wait, you're saying we have our own super-suits now? Like, officially?"
"That's right." Maxim said with a smirk as they arrived at the entrance of the lab, which was now protected by a pair of reinforced doors that slid open with a soft hiss once A.N.G.E.L scanned their identities, revealing the lab beyond.
He paused, letting the implications sink in. "And for me… well, let's just say I've made a few personal modifications."
The room was bathed in a soft, ambient glow, the light reflecting off the polished surfaces and the sleek, metallic forms of the suits displayed on three separate pedestals.
Each suit was unique, a work of art and engineering fused into one. All of the Suit's were made out of Maxim's exceptional knowledge in Nanotechnology, combined with Vibranium weave and Graphene.
The three had many features such as natural regeneration using Nanobots, Kinetic Energy redistribution, near indestructibility and complete sound nullification.
Maxim also imbued Cosmic power in each of the Suits, to give them more protection versus Magic based threats and to provide benefits to wearers such as faster energy regeneration.
The suits could also be designed into jewelry such as earrings, necklaces and rings, so they could be carried anywhere and placed on at whatever time needed using Nanotech, allowing them to quickly change when in danger.
For Maxim's personal Super-suit, he took massive inspiration from Valorant's Omen. ( It's basically Omen. Picture Here. )
Pietro's suit was a combination of white, light blue and dark grey, white being the primary colour.
Maxim made sure the suit was flexible, emphasizing agility and movement, while also providing a tinted blue visor that was connected to A.N.G.E.L, able to help guide Pietro when on missions and regulate him, similar to Jarvis in Iron Man suits. ( image here )
Wanda's suit, in contrast, was a deep crimson, intricate patterns etched into the Vibranium surface, very similar to the design of her costume in the movie Multiverse of Madness ( Images here )
The three of them stood before their suits, a moment of silence stretching out as they took in the culmination of Maxim's vision.
The lab was filled with the quiet hum of technology, the soft light casting long shadows across the room, accentuating the sleek, lethal beauty of the suits.
"This is incredible," Pietro murmured, stepping closer to his suit, running his finger across the fabric, his eyes wide with wonder. Every single idea he had pitched to Maxim about how the suit should look was accomplished, and he couldn't wait to wear it.
Wanda was the same as her brother, her gaze was fixed on her own suit as her fingers brushing lightly against the smooth surface, "You've outdone yourself, Maxim."
Maxim crossed his arms, a satisfied smile playing on his lips as he watched their reactions, moving in and testing his own supersuit. He could feel the Cosmic Energy running inside of it.
He turned, his gaze settling on the twins, his expression serious. "We're on the verge of something big, and these suits are just the beginning. For the next few months, we'll be handling Hydra bases across Europe, so make sure to bring your A game."
The twins nodded, a shared determination sparking in their eyes as they turned back to their suits, their hands hovering over the display.
"When do we get started?" Pietro asked, pressing a button next to his suit, which made the Nanobots slowly close in on themself, transforming into a pair of glasses which he began wearing.
Wanda did the same for her suit, turning hers into an earring, whilst Maxim turned his suit into a ring.
"Tomorrow!"
