max in Pokemon

It was dusk and currently max,Skyla and miles were at the Pokemon center to get Skyla's Pokemon healed up thanks to max's brutal attacks.

Skyla was completely zoned out because she saw some fighting type gym leaders fighting with there Pokemon but max just broke the laws of nature.

She remembered the punch max gave swanna and the shockwave it kicked up that wasn't something a normal human could do not to mention he looked like he wasn't even trying that really got her think on what is he?

Miles was thinking the Same thing after the battle he confessed to his granddaughter that he asked him to humble on her methods and she agreed to stop doing it.

But still max was what was on there minds he is strong enough to take hits of powerful Pokemon and he seemed like he wasn't showing his full strength.

After the Pokemon were healed they all said there goodbyes and the two went back to there house that was right next to the flying gym.

It was now night time and Skyla couldn't sleep she kept thinking about max and what he did.

He shattered her view of the world a human was able to defeat Pokemon single handily that thought kept on going around her head and it was preventing her to sleep.

She got up and put on some casual clothes and started to walk around at night she already let her grandfather know that she is going out.

She walked around mistralton city to find something to distract her from her thoughts.

But when she was walking next to trees that lead to a small forest she heard the sound of something swinging fast.

She got a good view and she saw that it was the one that was in her head max.

She saw him train with a sword and small blade in a black shirt with his jacket on his waist.

not just him but she saw a meloetta and floating chips that was disappearing on there own the cause of that was moline who was eating chips that she asked max to buy she doesn't need to eat normal food but she liked the taste.

She thought she was loosing her mind but she heard meloetta speaking something to him but to her it was saying its own name.

Meloatta: I've been meaning to ask but what was that thing you did with the swanna it was crazy strong!

Max: that was a technique called the single impact how it works is that I compress spiritual energy and when it makes physical contact the energy explodes in a monstrous amount of force.

Skyla had to process what she just heard.

Max can actually understand Pokemon!?

Not just that but what was spiritual energy? She heard from her grandfather that lucarios can sense the auras of others and one lucario trainer wrote a book about aura and he believed that humans can harness this power.

It sounded impossible but is it actually true?

Meloatta was watching max train and she once again felt that feeling of being pumped up and she felt like something was coming back.

She got up caught max's attention.

Meloatta: max I think something is coming back to me.

Max stopped and looked at her.

Max: what is it.

Instead of answering meloetta focused on that feeling and she felt a spark of change in her being.

She floated up in the air surrounded by a white light her hair rolled up on her head and her skirt separated into four looking like a flower.

When the light disappeared she was completely different.

Her eyes were red and her hair and the line on her stomach area were now orange.

Max and Skyla were surprised but moline looked at the whole thing like with an indifferent face.

She can transform into a snake so compared to meloetta it wasn't anything special.

Meloatta floated down getting a feel for her form and that feeling of being pumped up cranked up to 11 now she felt like she could take on anyone.

Meloatta: wow I this feels alive and stronger than before.

Max: looks like this new form of your gives you a physical boost.

Meloatta: I wanna go a round I wanna test out this form.

Max: alright fine.

Max put down his sword and blade next to moline who look uninterested.

Moline: do me a favor and don't kill each other.

Max: we won't you knuckle head.

He cracked his knuckles and got into a fighting stance.

Meloatta did the same but she looked she was taking the position of a matador.

Skyla was watching the whole thing and she was interested on seeing this fight.

Meloatta rushed in first and tried to land a punch on he deflect it rounded with a punch of his own.

But using her levitation to her advantage she rolled out of the punch and dropped kicked him but he managed to block it in time pushing him back a bit.

She continued her onslaught of attacks and max had to counter and parry some of them.

But meloetta getting her memories of fighting in this form kept her from losing ground.

Max himself was holding his own but he noticed that her strikes are becoming more aggressive and stronger.

He backed away and made a black arm and launched it at her.

She flew over it and went towards him but max made extra hands form his black arm and sent them towards meloetta.

She was dodging the black arms trying to grabbed at her.

But she turned around and saw max ready to kick her.

She didn't have time to dodge so she blocked instead.

But this what he wanted instead of a kick he launched his fist towards her stomach area making a shockwave.

Meloatta spit out some blood and realized what max was doing and Skyla who was watching the whole thing recognized it two.

Meloatta crashed into the ground kicking up a cloud of dust.

Max landed on the ground he was a little worried that he went too far.

But meloetta got up a small amount of blood on her lip she wiped it off and made a "come on" motion.

Max only smirk at her and he once again took a stance.

But the moment was interrupted when they heard footsteps approaching.

He guessed that the shockwave woke everyone up.

Moline looked bitter because she wasn't gonna be able to finish her snack.

They got out of there and Skyla did the Same but instead of going home she decided to follow max to a small park away from the forest they were in.

She saw him go toe to toe with a Pokemon again and this time he used some sort of black arm and now her curiosity was on a all time high she wanted to find out what was going on.

She hid behind a tree a easdrop on there conversation she noticed how the floating chips were gone but she saw how max was talking like there was two people and this really had her puzzling the world.

They talked about meloetta who was back in her aria form and recovered some of her memories there is a temple deep in the waters that houses the revival glass but she doesn't know exactly were she just remembered the location of the revival glass and were the summoning is going to happen.

Max had a plan if meloetta remembers the location of the temple enter moline's stomach in case they get into trouble and since moline is a spirit she doesn't need to breathe.

And have her destroy the revival glass if the one of the artifacts is destroyed then they can't summon them it better then having it sitting around for someone who wants to rule the world to grab it.

Meloatta was unsure about it but when max said it was better then having innocents die she didn't argue anymore.

As for Skyla she was now more interested in this whole thing she was a free spirit and she felt like going with him would help her become stronger and learn more about the world.

Max: i know you are there Skyla.

She felt a chill down her spine at being called out and not bothering to hide she stepped out of the tree.

Max looked at her with suspicion he can tell that her soul was pure but he doesn't trust people he just met.

Skyla: um hi?

Max: why were you watching me?

Skyla: well obviously when you see someone who can beat Pokemon do you not expect me not to have questions?

Max just let out a sigh at this.

Max: look I can tell at least that you are not a bad person but I don't trust you so explain.

Skyla: well I was just walking around and I heard swings and I saw you fighting against your Pokemon.

Max: 1 she isn't mine she a partner 2 curiosity killed the cat remember?

Skyla had a confused face and he could have sworn he saw a question mark appeared on her head.

He then realized that people of this world wouldn't know what a cat is.

Max: never mind forget what I said anyway don't spill anything you saw or heard you got me?

Skyla: alright alright. I get it super secret mission.

Max: it's a side objective.

Skyla: oh what's your actual objective?

Max: that is non of your business.

He walked away with meloetta floating beside him and went invisible.

Skyla stood there watching his back and she went back to her own home.

The next day in the morning Skyla was still thinking about what she heard from max.

A temple underwater and legendary Pokemon and a possible organization that is trying to take over her home region.

She decided to make a decision and went to her grandfather to talks about her going with max.

She explained what happened yesterday and he took a moment to think about it and she expected him to say no but to her own surprise he actually allowed her to go.

He said that he has a feeling that being around max will bring out the best in her in terms of her bond with her Pokemon and her own strength.

He will be taking care of the gym while she is gone she of course worried about him since he was old but like any old timer he had the drive of a gym leader.

She felt her worries lift a little and he went to the other person for her to actually go on this adventure.

She went to the Pokemon center and she asked to see max she waited and when he came he didn't look thrilled.

They were outside the center in an alleyway and max looked at her with a serious look.

Max: what do you want?

Skyla: gee not a good morning or how are you doing?

Max only intensified his glare and Skyla had a little sweat on her face but she regained her confidence.

Skyla: I want to-

Max: no

Skyla: you didn't even let me finish.

Max: because you were say "I want to go with you" right?

Skyla: yeah I mean how can.

Max: forget about it if anything you would just be a liability for me and Meloatta.

Skyla took offense to that.

Skyla: how am I going to be a liability!?

Max: can you fight?

Skyla: yeah I know how to-

Max: I don't mean with your Pokemon I mean you especially can you or can you not fight?

Skyla didn't answer.

Max: that's why you are going to be a liability you don't know how to defend yourself without your Pokemon if you don't even know how to defend yourself you're as good as dead.

Skyla felt like her status as a Pokemon trainer was ripped to pieces because as much as she didn't want to admit it max was actually right if it was the fighting gym leader it would have been different but she herself didn't know how to fight.

Max turned to walking but decided to at least give her some advice.

Max: look I'm not telling you this because I see you as weak I'm saying this because you will get yourself killed out there. So do me a favor and don't pretend to be a hero and throw away your life.

Skyla didn't relent she thought of something that could work.

Skyla: then teach me.

Max stopped at that and he turned to look at her like she lost her mind.

Skyla: since you don't know the location of the temple you have until meloetta recovers her memory.

Max was about to say no but meloetta actually agreed with her since it will take time for her to recover from memory loss they have plenty of time.

With two agreements he couldn't refuse he pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a sigh of defeat.

Max: does your old man know about this idea of yours?

Skyla: yup he knows.

Max: that old man either has way too much faith in his own grandchildren or he is just crazy.

Skyla: who knows maybe both.

Max:We will leave in a couple of minutes grab your stuff if you are really planning on joining me in this.

Skyla: alright thanks a lot max!

She ran off to get ready but max really didn't want her to join him because anything could hit the fan.

Meloatta saw his face and decided to lighten the mood by teasing him.

Meloatta: maybe you don't want her around was because there's way too many girls.

He grew a tick mark and he socked her on the head he noticed how ever since she awoke to her pirouette form she has been a little more sassy.

Max: I just hope that she knows what she's doing.
