max McKnight In hell

When Barbie and max made it back to hell there were in the lust ring and there was silence between them since max didn't know what to do after seeing that mess but it was cut off when Barbie's phone rang and she saw that it was her boss and she knew that she was in deep shit.

Barbie: fuck.

She answered and her boss didn't sound happy not by a long shot.

Boss: what the hell Barbie it late and the drugs transfer should have finished by now and I didn't a report so what gives!?

Barbie: look you are not going to believe me but I promise you that it's the truth I was kidnapped by some asshole agents and-

Boss: you know what I don't care you are done barb ya hear done!!

Barbie: no no no please I will get it done I just-

Boss: you said that you would get it done by the end of the week but it looks like you couldn't help yourself from making excuses or you got high on the drugs!

Barbie: but.

Boss: bye Barbie good luck finding another job that will take you.

He then hung up and Barbie had a dead look on her the only work she had was a bust and a part of her wanted to blame max but she knew that he didn't tell her to go after him she came to him so this was her own fault.

Max heard the whole thing and he felt bad for Barbie sure drug dealing is not exactly a good job but still.

He thought about it for a moment and he asked a question.

Max: so um you want me to leave or-

Barbie didn't answer but instead she sat on the ground having a lost look in her eyes and she looked at max with an unsure look and he took it as a sign to sit by her.

It was silent for a while until Barbie broke it.

Barbie: you heard that I got fired and now I'm practically homeless.

Max: how come don't you have a place to stay?

Barbie: well yeah the people I worked for have connections and I was allowed to stay in one of there private apartments and those who don't do there job gets there stuff claimed and now whatever I have in that place is lost.

Max: I can get it back if you want. And it's not exactly a perfect but I know a place you can stay until you get your things together.

Barbie: yeah? Like where?

Max: the hazbin hotel.

Barbie: isn't that place just for sinners?

Max: well I mean blitz has that wierd relationship with Stolas who is a royal so-

He saw how Barbie's body was tensed and he guessed that now wasn't a good time to mention his name.

Max: sorry I guess you don't want to hear anything relating to blitz for a while.

Barbie was quite but she appreciated that max respects her space and stopped.

Barbie: so the hotel will they actually take me in?

Max: yeah Charlie is very friendly and everyone else is. Unique but the one you might to stay away from is alastor.

Barbie: the radio demon!? He was missing for seven years!

Max: really that's the first time I heard about that what happened to make him disappear for that long?

Barbie: well from what I've heard some say that he just got bored and left and I hear that he is pretty dangerous.

Max: he is but don't worry I can take him.

Barbie: you sure?

Max: I can tell that he is skilled in magic and having a sliver tongue but he isn't physically strong and I have a lot more tricks on my sleeves.

Barbie: wait so are saying that you are barely fighting at your best?

Max: yup and if I could have easily destroyed that building that held you captive but I would have killed you in the process.

Barbie: well. Thanks for the image.

Max got up and dusted his clothes and stuck his hand out for her to take.

Max: I know it not a permanent fix but It's the best i can offer so if you want to stay at the hotel we can get your stuff back.

Barbie thought about it and it was late and the confiscation of her stuff wouldn't happen till tomorrow so she got time and with max I would be more easy since he is a force to be reckoned with.

Barbie got up and and she looked at max in the eyes.

Barbie: I'll try this idea of yours but this better not bite me back.

Max: it won't I promise.

Barbie: good now come I want to get my stuff back. quietly.

Max: I can be quiet.

They made there way through rooftops and they got to the location of the private house and like max said he easily killed the guards quietly and they made it towards her apartment number and she got all of her stuff in a bag mostly left over cash and other things.

And with that issue out of the way they got on to the elevator to get to the pride ring and Barbie was surprised on how the place was gang wars,open pornography, and a cannibal town.

Barbie has never been to the pride ring for 3 reasons mainly because blitzo runs his business here and because of chaos in this place and third of all the extermination day.

Speaking of that the clock said that the extermination will happen in 3 weeks and that made her very nervous she heard from hellborns that the extermination is a massacre but she heard that the angels only attack sinners but she didn't wasn't going to test if that's true.

They continued until they got the hotel and when max knocked vaggie answered the door and she looked like she was about to sleep.

Vaggie: max? I thought you were away in the human world.

Max: well plans changed and I offered my friend here a place to stay we can work out the paperwork tomorrow since I can tell you are pretty tired.

Barbie didn't know how to feel being called a friend she was called many names but there were more like profanities but being called a friend felt warm in a good way.

Vaggie looked at Barbie for a moment and she decided to let this slide since it's way too late to even argue with him and like he said the paperwork can be done tomorrow.

Vaggie: fine but do me a favor and don't make a too much noise it's way too late.

Max: promise to not give you any trouble.

Vaggie: good come on.

Barbie followed max to his room and when they got there max offered his bed and of course she tried to protest but max summoned moline in her snake form and he used her as a makeshift bed and moline seemed to be pleased.

Barbie was put off by moline but she eventually she got to sleep but before she went to the land of dreams she thanked him mentally in hell is rare to meet some actual good people in here and max was among them guess in a way getting fired is a blessing in disguise.
