Odin took Luke and walked slowly across the Bifrost.
"The Bridge beneath your feet is the passage that connects Asgard to the Nine Realms." Odin introduced Asgard's great achievement to Luke.
However, Luke already knew about this. At this moment, his attention was already on the magnificent palace in front of him, shining golden in the sun.
Looking at the huge golden palace standing tall in front. Luke couldn't help but think of the conversation between Hela and Thor when he watched Thor: Ragnarok.
Hela said that she and Odin once drowned the entire civilization in blood and tears, and asked Thor, "Where do you think all this gold came from?"
Looking at the one-eyed old man, standing beside him. It was really hard to connect him with the God King Odin who once conquered the Nine Realms.
"Your soul doesn't belong to this universe." Suddenly Odin said to Luke.
Hearing him Luke stopped walking and his whole body tensed up as if by reflex. But then he relaxed again.
"Yes, I am indeed not from this universe. I just slept for a while and woke up to find myself in a dragon egg, becoming a giant dragon that has not yet hatched."
Luke did not hide anything from the God King, whose death was not far away. After all, the other part knows many things about him and since everyone knows the answer, there is no need to beat around the bush.
"This world is much bigger than we think. Compared to the entire infinite multiverse, the Nine Realms are just like a grain of dust. Since you were able to come to this universe, you must have some mission."
"In the future I saw, Asgard's destruction was inevitable, and Thor was powerless to stop it. But your appearance made the future blurry, until now I can't see it clearly at all." Odin said this and stared at Luke with his only remaining eye.
"So, do you think I will be the one who changes fate?" Luke asked him back.
"No, fate is already determined. When you appeared, the past destiny now no longer exists, and now you are the new destiny." Hearing Odin say this, Luke didn't know how to respond.
"Your growth is a miracle. The sun in the sky is making you stronger all the time. I sacrificed one of my eyes to drink from the fountain of wisdom. Although I only have one eye left, I have also gained the wisdom of Runas, which allows me to see the fate of Asgard."
"That's a trajectory that has already been set, and even I can't change it. I know that even if I conquered the nine realms, it will be useless. Ragnarok will eventually come." Odin began to tell Luke about his past.
"So what will happen now?" Luke asked.
"I don't know, it will all depend on your choices. I can see that your body has an instinctive rejection of the magic particles I emit. It's a weakness you have to overcome, and in this universe, magic is the most common power." Odin replied.
To be honest, even Odin was amazed by Luke's growth. Now standing next to Luke, he can feel that the other party is growing every moment.
However, the only problem is that Luke's body seemed to have a natural fear and rejection of magic particles. This means that magic can cause serious damage to Luke's body.
"Is there any way to make up for this defect of mine?" Luke asked Odin.
"Learn magic, let your body adapt to the magic particles little by little, and use magic to gradually repair this defect or maybe you could achieve divine power and become a god." Odin gave two choices.
However, the first one is still normal, but what about the second one! Becoming a god is not that easy.
"If you want to learn magic, you can go and ask my wife. She has mastered countless magic and secret arts of the Vanir." As expected, Odin recommended his wife to Luke.
"What do I need to give in return?" Luke knew that Odin would not say so much to him for no reason.
"No, you don't need to pay anything, just follow your own heart and keep going." Odin's words made Luke fall into a brief contemplation.
When he think about his own system, it is obvious that it wants him to participate in major events one after another. At that time, the fate of the universe will deviate from its originally predetermined trajectory no matter what.
Therefore, the fate of certain people or things will naturally change. This is an open conspiracy that Luke cannot refuse.
Once you have accepted a favor from Asgard, you would feel embarrassed to just stand by and watch it being destroyed.
A god and a dragon walked side by side through the streets of Asgard. When the people passing by saw Odin, they bowed excitedly and then cast their curious eyes towards Luke.
Because Odin was by his side, even Luke's huge size did not cause a commotion.
"This is Asgard's guest, his name is Luke and just now, he defeated my son, Thor. Asgard welcomes the strong. I will hold a grand banquet outside the Golden Palace tonight to welcome our guest." Odin revealed and introduced Luke to the asguardians.
Following Odin's introduction, fanatical looks appeared on the faces of these ordinary Asgardians.
Half of it was because they heard that Luke was able to defeat Thor, and the other half was because they heard that there would be a banquet tonight.
Looking at the cheering crowds around him, Luke felt that this place seemed pretty good. Soon, Luke followed Odin inside the Golden Palace.
"What do you think of Asgard now?" Odin suddenly asked Luke.
"It was very nice, everyone had a smile on their face. Just like the place where I was born, harmonious and peaceful." After thinking for a second, Luke spoke truthfully.
"Then do you think that as a king, your people are more important or the land under your feet is more important?" Odin continued to ask.
"A great man in my world once said this, If you keep the land but lose the people, you will lose both the people and the land; if you keep the people but lose the land, you will gain both the people and the land."
Luke did not directly express his own opinion, but borrowed a saying from his predecessors.
"I guess he must be a very remarkable wise man." After hearing this, Odin showed a look of approval on his face.
"Certainly." Luke agreed.
Afterwards, Odin told Luke about Thor, the heir to the throne. Although his words were full of expectations for Thor, the current Thor did not meet his expectations at all.
Luke naturally knew why Odin was so anxious, because he didn't have much time left. In this matter, Luke naturally suggested that Thor should go through some hardships so that he would become mature.
Afterwords, the god and the dragon were having a great time chatting.
On the other hand, Thor, who had received treatment, was standing in the square with the four warriors of Asgard, drinking and talking about the battle.
