Melting Pot Concept in Marvel

Chapter 27: Chapter 27: Miracle, Turning Point of Humanity!

"Look at this! Do you see? The anti-cancer serum produces a special high-molecular transparent acid that can block the spread of cancer cells!"

"And it also cuts them off from nutrients, nullifying their strongest trait—unlimited division!"

Why are cancer cells so terrible?

Because they can proliferate endlessly, undergo transformations, and easily metastasize. Once they grow numerous enough that you can't destroy them in time, they continue to multiply, destroying normal cell tissues in the process. They can penetrate surrounding normal tissues, spread through your circulatory or lymph systems, and invade other parts of the body. As they do, they rob the body of nutrients, rapidly expanding their numbers until they become a lethal threat.

Currently, millions worldwide are tormented by cancer each year—a terminal disease that has no cure. But now, in front of them was something worthy of the Nobel Prize: a medical miracle that Aaron had presented. His reagent specifically blocks cancer cells until they starve to death, directly negating their biggest danger!

Even if they can only partially reverse-engineer this serum and the production cost is astronomical, people will still clamor for it. Because, in the face of cancer, everyone is equal. Even if you have billions, once you're diagnosed with a highly fatal cancer, you basically have one foot in the grave—a ticket straight to hell. If they learn of the serum's existence, imagine how much they'd pay to "buy themselves another chance at life." For them, a single life might be worth hundreds of millions. They wouldn't fear the cost—only that it might be priceless and unobtainable.

You could already picture wealthy individuals wildly throwing money around, begging for a share of the life-saving miracle drug.

"It does resemble that high-molecular transparent acid found in naked mole-rats. With our current technology, reproducing it will take some time…" someone admitted hesitantly.

Norman couldn't help bursting into hearty laughter, unable to suppress his joy. "But we already have a working product! Reverse-engineering it is just a matter of time."

The pharmaceutical industry is like that: producing imitation drugs can be relatively simple—what truly matters is the patent and innovative expertise. Look at some places overseas where knock-off meds are rampant, cheaply produced. Reverse-engineering is always easier than innovation.

And besides, they were Oscorp.

"Boss, Mr. Norman—our tests on the anti-aging serum are also complete. Based on computer simulations, it effectively halts bodily aging, greatly extending one's youth. It basically fights back against merciless time, preserving a person's appearance as much as possible!"

"If you start injections at age 20—one shot per month—you can maintain your looks for about 30 years! Between 50 and 80, you'd gradually age, aligning roughly with how a person used to look in their late 20s to early 30s. Your appearance won't drop drastically."

"Once you pass 80, due to drug resistance, it becomes much weaker, so your outward appearance would decline more. Still, at worst, you might look about 60 until your death."

"What's more, if you inject once a month, you'll extend your lifespan; if you remain disease-free, you'd likely live to the theoretical human limit of around 120. With more frequent injections, your lifespan could climb to 200!"

"And you'd still look about 60. If combined with head-transplant surgery or other tech, you could appear even younger!"

Norman could scarcely contain his grin. Though it was all based on simulations and might not be entirely accurate—plus external factors like environment could influence results—it was still enough to make people go insane, especially women. They were going to be rich!

"Boss, we also have test results on the painkiller serum!"

"After injection, depending on the dosage, the effect varies; the strongest dose eliminates pain completely. Even if you break an arm or leg, you'd feel no pain until death."

"And theoretically, it's completely harmless to the body! A miracle of medicine—something previously only imagined!"

Norman and the others weren't too surprised by "miracles" anymore. Anti-aging and anti-cancer serums were only half miracles. The real miracle was the man calmly standing among them—Aaron. He was the true wonder!

"Boss, without question, you've ushered the entire medical field into a new era! Everyone will remember your contributions. You're the Einstein of medicine, the Newton of healthcare. You've surpassed Tony Stark—surpassed even Howard Stark! They're not even worthy enough to carry your shoes!" Norman exclaimed sincerely.

The others nodded in agreement. Combined with the super healing serum and limb-regeneration serum, they basically had a complete "life-saving package." If these become widespread, Aaron alone could theoretically slash the world's annual death rate by thirty percent—saving countless lives.

Of course, all these miracles were truly thanks to the Primordial Furnace. But the Furnace was Aaron, and Aaron was the Furnace. With his now even more advanced super-brain, if he wanted to devote himself to research, matching Tony Stark might well be possible. Granted, Tony is effectively humanity's top mind at the moment—but as Aaron mused, he'd already unleashed "the Furnace." If he couldn't keep breaking new ceilings, how could he possibly lose to Tony?

Aaron raised his hands in a quieting motion. Everyone ceased their praise, awaiting his instruction.

"Norman, all these folks have signed non-disclosure agreements, correct?"

"Of course, Boss!"

"Good. Then until you've genuinely replicated everything, I don't want anyone blabbing about it outside. Otherwise…" Aaron trailed off with a faint smirk, but the room's temperature plummeted by more than ten degrees. They all felt a sudden chill.

"The consequences—you know them well. Sometimes, the law can't protect U.S. citizens…"

"That's all. Good luck, everyone—may you succeed soon!" As if flipping a switch, Aaron's expression turned amiable again. But no one dared forget what they'd just witnessed. They'd seen what their boss could do.

At that point, Norman stepped forward, stern-faced. "Rest assured, Boss. We've all agreed that from now on, the company is our home. We'll eat, sleep, and work here, and no one leaves until we succeed!"

The crowd echoed this sentiment. After all, they stood at a turning point in human history, a chance to go down in the record books. More importantly, there was ample financial incentive—and money talks.

Life is priceless, but freedom is also precious. Yet for the sake of money, well…

Henceforth, the company truly was their home.
