It's the next day after Pearl has defeated the Eel monster and she's struggling to stay awake

Pearl's house

Pearl falls head first in a bowl of cereal

Marina: Pearl, are you okay?

Pearl: yeah, it's just that I've been training hard with the swim team

Marina: oh so you're doing well I presume

Pearl: yeah and I'm the coach's star pupil

Marina: Who is the coach?

Pearl: (thinks) if I tell her that her name's Crystal, she might figure out that it's her sister Crystal (speaks aloud) the Coach is a private person and I'm new to the team so I actually don't know her name

Marina: I would like to meet her

Pearl: sure mom (whispers) why do I have a feeling that this is all gonna blow up In my face?

Marina: what did you say?

Pearl: Oh it was nothing bye

Pearl leaves for school

School

Pearl: Lilly, I'm gonna need your help

Lilly: with what?

Pearl: My mom's getting suspicious. I told her I joined the swim team and she wants to meet the coach

Lilly: then just join the swim team

Pearl: I can't do that

Lilly: is it because Tyler is part of the Swim team and every time you see Him without a shirt you go crazy?

Pearl: no... (Blush) Maybe a little, but also because Crystal said if this necklace touches water I'll turn into a Mermaid

Lilly: just put it in your locker. What's the worst thing that could happen?

Pearl: someone could steal it

Lilly: just lock it

Pearl: you know My locker's broken. All it takes is one knock and it's open

Lilly: the way I see it you got two options: tell your mom that your training to fight an evil ocean witch or that your apart of the swim team

Pearl: you know what Lilly? Sometimes I love you and sometimes I hate you

Lilly: that's our dynamic, Girl

Gym class

Pearl signs up for the swim team

Coach: welcome team to the swimming club, I'll be your coach Udonna

Tyler: what happened to the old coach?

Udonna: oh she went for a little vacation to the seaside but I'll be fulfilling her duties as the coach, now let's get started. May I have a volunteer to swim laps for us?

Tyler: I'll do it

Tyler swims 10 laps around the pool and back In under 30 seconds

Udonna: impressive! What's your name your man?

Tyler: Tyler Siebold

Udonna: well you've just became the new Captain

Tyler: thank you, coach

Pearl looks at the water dripping of Tyler's Muscles in amazement

Udonna: miss Oceanwing, it appears that you're dribbling

Pearl: Oh yeah it's just that I'm really excited to swim next

Pearl swims 3 laps around the pool In 30 seconds

Udonna: good. Not as good as Mister Siebold before but good

Pearl: I'll take it

The school Bell rings

Udonna well class it appears that the school day has ended but I'll see you all tomorrow. Oh and miss Oceanwing may I have a word with you?

Pearl: sure

Udonna: now I've heard a lot about you

Pearl: you have?

Udonna: yes, you are a very intelligent young girl but your not very athletic so why did you join the swim team?

Pearl: uh it's because... I've been feeling a strong connection to the ocean recently and wanted to make it stronger

Udonna: so you haven't gone been swimming before?

Pearl: I tried but My mom wouldn't let me because she's afraid I'll get hurt like how my father died trying to save us both

Udonna: you're father has passed away?

Pearl: yeah I never got to meet him (snivels)

Udonna: I'm so sorry

Udonna hugs Pearl

Pearl: thanks, coach

Udonna: call me Udonna

Pearl: thanks, Udonna

Udonna: no problem, Pearl

Pearl leaves the gym and goes to her locker to find her necklace missing

Pearl: WHERE'S MY NECKLACE?!

Lilly: you mean this necklace?

Pearl turns around to find Lilly holding her necklace

Pearl: Lilly, I thought I lost this

Lilly: yeah I can tell. So how did things go with Tyler?

Pearl: I didn't really talk to him but he looked so hot during practice but other than that swim practice was awesome and I the new Swim coach is really nice and My new favourite teacher

Lilly: you must've enjoyed yourself then

Pearl: yeah I did. But I wonder where the old swim coach is

Meanwhile with Udonna

It's nighttime and Udonna is jumping into the water turns into a Mermaid

Udonna: ah Pearl Oceanwing, such a nice Girl. I almost feel bad that I have to kill her to get that necklace

Udonna cuts a boulder In half with her staff

Udonna: almost

Old coach: please let me go

Udonna: oh I'm sorry deary, it's just that if I let you go I won't be able to replace you and get that necklace from my dear niece so night night

Udonna stabs the Old Coach with her staff
