Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Beginning of Doom
Helessa, an orphan working as a laborer at a construction site, lost her adopted parents in a tragic accident. Her only family is her cousin, Izaki, a hitman tied to a secret organization.
One day, Izaki receives a mission to demolish a construction building and eliminate all the workers in the area. He refuses at first, knowing his sister Helessa works there. But his higher-ups threaten him, saying they'll kill both him and his friend if he disobeys. Cornered and with no other option, Izaki accepts the mission.
When he arrives at the construction site, he spots his sister among the workers. Panicked, he calls her and asks to meet at a nearby café, saying they need to discuss something important. While she heads toward the café, Izaki quickly plants the bomb near the site.
But just as he thinks he's in the clear, Helessa checks her phone and tracks his location. Realizing he's still at the construction site, she hurries back. Izaki, meanwhile, has moved to a safe distance and is moments away from activating the bomb. Helessa catches him just in time and demands an explanation.
Ignoring her pleas, Izaki detonates the bomb. Helessa breaks free from him and sprints toward the site to warn the workers, but Izaki restrains her. The bomb goes off, and the site, along with everyone inside, is obliterated.
In tears, Helessa turns to her brother. "Why?" she sobs.
Izaki looks at her with a pained expression. "I had to. If I didn't, they would've killed both of us… and my friend."
Helessa shakes her head. "I know you're an assassin, Izaki. But why destroy the entire building? That has nothing to do with a hit."
Izaki's voice drops. "The reason I'm destroying it… is a secret I don't even know."
(Questioningly)
Helessa: What do you mean? Before you take on a mission, they always tell you why you're doing it.
Izaki (surprised): How do you know that?
Helessa: I don't know… it just came to me.
Izaki: Whatever. Let's get out of here before the police show up.
(Cut to a meeting between the head council members of the secret organization.)
Member 3: What is Izaki doing? Why did he leave one person alive?
Member 7: We told him—the people there knew highly confidential information about us. How could he let anyone survive?
(Member 1 enters the room.)
Member 1: He didn't finish the mission properly. We have to execute him.
Member 3 (shocked): What? But he's one of our best hitmen!
Member 1: It doesn't matter. Strongest or weakest, anyone who fails a mission must face the consequences.
(Dramatic ending.)
