MHA Dungeon Master

Chapter 14: Duo

"Congratulations, Yumeko-san, your daughter has made it to the third round!" Aunt Rei said to Ryuko-nee's mother with a wide smile on her face. Everyone around them shared in the joy of this good news.

"Thank you, Rei-san, I am so fortunate to have a daughter like Ryuko," Aunt Yumeko said gratefully, her eyes sparkling with pride. She couldn't hide her happiness over her daughter's achievement.

Meanwhile, I was pondering what the real contents of the balloon that Ryuko-nee's team threw at Team B were. Curiosity made me unable to stop thinking about the strategy behind the balloon. How could something as simple as a balloon be so crucial in this match? There must be something more than just its appearance.

If Himaru knew what was inside the balloon and who planned the strategy, he would certainly say something like this.

"You truly deserve the name Sakata Gintoki!" I said while patting Gintoki's shoulder, that is if I could reach, as the reality was that I was still very short.

"Alright everyone, without further ado, let's move on to the next match!" the announcer shouted enthusiastically, capturing the attention of the entire audience in the stadium. Everyone there began to prepare to watch the next match with great anticipation, looking forward to the exciting action that was about to begin.

The announcer started informing the audience to shift their focus to the next match. He provided some basic information about the players who would be competing and ensured that everyone was ready to watch the upcoming match. The roar of the audience was heard throughout the stadium, indicating their excitement and enthusiasm.

The next match featured Saramu Akasu, the red sand user who secured first place in the first round, as a player from Team B. With his skill in controlling red sand, Saramu Akasu was ready to demonstrate his abilities and help his team achieve victory. Many spectators' eyes were on him, eagerly awaiting his performance in the arena.

The progress of the game was also quite exciting, with various participants starting to showcase their talents and mastery of their Quirks. Each participant strove to give their best, displaying the techniques and strategies they had prepared. The audience was enthralled by the various actions and surprises happening in the arena.

But the final winner met the expectations of many spectators. The outcome of the match did not disappoint, as many spectators were satisfied with the performance of the team they supported. The success of the winning team was indeed a result of their strategy and hard work displayed throughout the game.

"Oh… the red sand is starting to separate Team A's players from their tower!" the announcer exclaimed enthusiastically, highlighting the dramatic action taking place in the arena. The audience, initially tense, erupted with cheers.

"The red sand is gathering beneath Team A's tower and beginning to lift it up!" the announcer continued, explaining the increasingly tense situation on the field. All the spectators focused on the action, feeling the growing tension.

"Team A's tower has fallen from a height and shattered into several pieces, and this game is over with Team B's victory!" the announcer announced with a Plus Ultra shout, marking the end of this thrilling match. Cheers and applause from the audience accompanied the announcement, showing their appreciation for this extraordinary game.

This time, Team B achieved victory. The joy and cheers from Team B's supporters echoed throughout the stadium, signaling their pride in the team's success. Team B celebrated their victory with great joy, knowing that their strategy had worked and their efforts were not in vain.

(The third match will not be written here)

The fourth and final match of the [Tower Defense] round was the match featuring Kamiji Moe. Kamiji Moe was one of the most anticipated participants in this match, known for her highly destructive Quirk, Blazing Hair. The audience in the stadium was eagerly awaiting her performance in the arena.

Kamiji Moe was part of Team A. She collaborated with her teammates, who were equally enthusiastic about facing the challenges ahead. All members of Team A had prepared thoroughly, ready to showcase their best abilities in this match.

This match was also very exciting because Team A's strategy was very different from the strategies of the teams that had played before. They implemented unexpected and creative tactics, surprising their opponents and captivating the audience. The ingenuity and innovation in Team A's strategy made the match very interesting and full of surprises.

When two members of Team B began attacking Team A's tower area, the atmosphere became increasingly tense. The audience closely followed every move and strategy made by both teams. This attack was well planned by Team B, but Team A was also strong in defending their tower area.

Suddenly, Kamiji Moe and her teammate, who were suspected of attacking Team B's tower area, instead ambushed two attackers from Team B. This event was truly unexpected and heated up the match even more. Kamiji Moe and her team's quick and tactical actions successfully surprised and overwhelmed the two attackers from Team B.

This unexpected situation made the atmosphere in the stadium lively and full of excitement. Everyone stood up from their seats, cheers and applause echoing throughout the stadium. This event greatly increased the enthusiasm and excitement of the audience watching the match.

Ultimately, the game ended when Kamiji Moe's green flame successfully melted Team B's CAD. Team A's victory was greeted with loud cheers from the audience. Kamiji Moe's action provided the perfect closing to this thrilling match, and the audience gave warm applause as an appreciation for the efforts and skills displayed by all the participants.

Before the third round began, there was a 30-minute break in the game. During this break, the participants and the audience could rest for a while and prepare for the next round. The atmosphere around the stadium became more relaxed, with many people using this time to rest or do other activities. The participants also used this break to strategize and gather their energy before the match continued.

I took this time to go to the toilet. It was a good opportunity to refresh myself before the next match started. I walked to the toilet near the spectator stands, trying not to take too long so I wouldn't miss the next round. While in the toilet, I also thought about various things that might happen in the next match.

My father also followed me to the toilet, understandably so, since I was still a child. Although I was starting to be independent, my father still wanted to make sure I was okay and didn't face any difficulties. He always accompanied and protected me in every situation.

Even though the spirit inside my body was already mature, only I knew this secret.

As I exited the toilet and was washing my hands with my father by my side, two men entered and appeared to be close friends. They were talking casually and smiling, showing their closeness. I observed them for a moment before continuing to wash my hands, curious about the conversation they might have.

One of them had black hair and looked somewhat sleep-deprived, while the other had blond hair styled rather uniquely. Their appearance was quite striking, with their unique style and characteristics; I finally realized who they really were. They seemed to be on vacation from their jobs, which allowed them to appear in the stadium.

As my father and I were leaving the toilet, I could faintly hear their conversation. They were speaking in voices that weren't too loud but clear enough to be heard. Their conversation sounded interesting, so I walked out a bit slowly.

"Aizawa, I will definitely be a commentator for this festival in a few years," one of the men said confidently. He seemed very sure of his dream and hoped to make it come true.
