MHA Quirk: Calling Critters

" Hmm? Hey * - gulp - * what do you call this again " Usagi ask as she show Izuku a bunch of small dumplings on a stick, which Izuku replies

" Oh that's mitarashi dango, there like skewed dumplings covered in sweet soy glaze "

" Oh dumplings on a stick! * Nom! * can I get like 5 of these "

" Sure, you guys want some? "

" I'm good "

" Three "

" Kay, 5 please " Izuku ask as he pulls out his wallet in order to pay for the mitarashi dango, the stall owner accepts the yen and gives Izuku them they're food.

" Thank you sir "

" Mine! "

* Woosh! *

" Nom "

" .... Seriously? "

" What? I kinda like this stuff~ "

Catnap furrow his brow, annoyed before switch his attention to Izuku and ask " so where do you want to go? "

" Hmm? Um... I don't know, maybe we could sit at a bench and eat "

" Eh that's a little boring, how about we try some games, this is still a festival after all "

" Do you have to but in our conversation... "

" Well it's certainly better than sitting around, right Izuku? "

" I guess, though we should hurry, we don't have much time left "

" Hah! You heard the broccoli head, let's go! "

With a frustrating grunt from Catnap and a worried look from Dogday, the four eventually leave the stall to play some festival games.

After Midnight announce the UA sport festival's intermission, Izuku originally was going to eat with his friends but was stop by Usagi who wanted to go outside.

Uraraka and Tenya accept's his boundaries as they ate lunch without him so here he is wondering outside of the stadium.

With crowd's and stall's reaching like a mile for Izuku, playing festival games and eating a bunch of street food for lunch, Izuku wasn't able to enjoy his meal much as most of it was spend on running around playing games with Usagi.

Catnap and Dogday notice this and immidiately stop Izuku from following Usagi, of course much to Usagi's displeasement.

So Dogday and Catnap decided to ask Izuku to do what he really wanted, which is to sit at a bench and just enjoy his lunch. And that Usagi has no choice but to follow their decision.

Usagi, reluctantly cooperate as they walk up to a nearby food stall to buy something nutritious to eat before he spot a bench to eat.

Sharing his food to the rest of his quirk as they just watch the festival go by, waiting until the intermission end's.

" What are doing? "

" Hmm? Oh, I'm reviewing the note's I've written about my classmates "

" Right... almost forgot you have that, though are you sure writing information about your classmates doesn't count as... you know, stalking them? "

" W-what!? Why did you think I'm stalking them!? "

" Nothing, it just looks like it from my point of view "

" W-well I'm just reviewing my classmates strength's and weaknesses. And besides, they're are other students who aren't in my class that manage to secure a spot. Who knows what those students are capable of "

" Plus, most of his classmates knows about us, so they probably have a plan to defeat us "

" Really Dogday? Well I guess your right... since I rely heavily on the three of you, they're going to plan on seperating us "

" Which is impossible "

" Well yes, if we use our usual tactics of gasing our enemies and flyswatting them from afar it would be affective against some of them.

But most of them would expect that strategy so there's a chance that they would prepare for it to happen "

" Yeah, but what are they going to do about it? The only threat we have is that black haired bi- I mean Momo, the ice guy, and probably a few students "

" We don't know it yet... some of our students might be able to harm us from afar, even with or without your smoke. "

" So what are you suggesting we're suppose to do? "

" Hmm.... "

Izuku think's for a moment, imagining the scenarios while taking in the information he has gathered.

Eventually he came up with a passive answer as he said.

" Maybe we could wait until the start of the third round, it would benefit us if we see who is our first opponent, that way we could focus our attention towards one target "

" I guess that makes sense... "

Soon an announcement spread outside the stadium, alerting the crowd that the UA sports festival intermission is about to end.

Izuku immidiately put side his notebook and finish his lunch, eating as much as he can before throwing the cardboard box at a nearby trashcan before running through the crowd.

Reaching the entrance of stadium.

Several minutes pass as the UA sports festival then continues.

The UA participants who manage to win the second round all gather to a crowd in order to listen to Midnights instructions.

Midnight, being the showgirl as she is, instruct's the students to draw lots in the most flashy way possible to height up the participants.

While also instructing new rule's for their third and final round, a one-on-one competition.

Suddenly Ojiro withdraws himself from the competition before the lot's were even drawn, shocking everyone in his class.

After he explane's why he had to withdraw another student from the crowd follow suit, which leads team Tetsutesu to fill in their spots.

With all participants set, Midnight discloses all of the match-ups for the first bracket. Raising her hand to show the participants who they're going up against.

Izuku thought, causing him to look for her on the crowd.

He did manage to spot her as the two lock eyes, seizing each other up for a few minutes before looking away.

He didn't bother to look up at his notebook since he knows that Yaoyorozu would take care of Catnap's red.

With his analysis on her keen intellect in regards to strategy and her creation quirk, Izuku knows it's going to be tricky figuring her out.

" Any idea's? "

Izuku whisper to his quirks, which Usagi replies.

" Well I could just speed blit'z her, I mean she's only human "

" I guess that would work... but what happens if it doesn't? "

Usagi shrugs, gesturing that she doesn't know. Izuku then puts his finger on his chin, thinking on the possible ways he could counter her while taking into account about her quirk and personality.

To the point that Dogday has to inform Izuku that his mumbling to himself again, alarming Izuku as he looks around and notice that his classmates surrounding him now glares at his direction weirdly.

Emberrased, he quickly apologize and went silent, but that didn't stop him from thinking about his match against Yaoyorozu.

Soon Midnight ask the participants to walk to there sit's for the first match to begin.

Causing them to walk towards a tunnel, leaving Mei Hatsume and Tenya Ida behind for their match to start.

Izuku follow's, still stuck in his head which cause Catnap to use his tail to stop and lead him through the tunnel.

And after a couple of minutes, the four manage to reach there destination.

Uraraka and the rest of his classmates yell at Izuku to notice them, enough for him to cut his thoughts off from his own world and back to reality.

" Glad your back "

" Huh? Oh s-sorry, I was a bit carried away... "

" Uh huh sure... just go sit by your friends, they're waiting "

" R-right! "

Izuku rush towards his classmates, walking towards his seat which Uraraka save's for him.

Sitting together so they could watch their friend Ida fight his first match.

" Ehem... LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!!! ARE YOU READY FOR THE THIRD AND FINAL!!! "

The crowd cheers like thundering roar, almost too much that Catnap, Dogday, and Usagi has to block their ears. Thinking that it'll burst.

Once the cheer died down present mic then hold's his mic tightly while pointing his hand to Ida.

" IN THE RIGHT CORNER! A SPEEDSTER WITH INSANE SPEED AND THE VICE PRESIDENT OF CLASS 1-A, GIVE IT UP FOR TENYA IDA!!!! "

Tenya walk's up to the battle field akwardly, as the crowd notice that he's wearing a strange support item.

Both Present mic and crowd were confuse until Midnight confirm's the crowd that Hatsume ask Tenya if he could wear her support item for his match.

Heating up a debate amongst the crowd and Izuku's class if that's even allowed, of course Catnap and Dogday doesn't care as they watch the competition with neutral expression but Usagi was invested in this fight.

Not caring about the support item as she just wanted to see who is her possible opponent.

Eventually the debate died down as Tenya was allowed to wear the support item for his match, which cause Present mic to introduce Hatsume to the crowd.

" AND IN THE LETT CORNER, A GIRL WHO COULD MAKE AMAZING DANGAROUS GADGET'S FROM THE SUPPORT DEPARTMENT!! GIVE IT UP FOR MEI HATSUME!!! "

And just like Tenya's, the crowd burst into cheers as they reveal Hatsume's thrilled figure on the battle field.

Hatsume didn't mind the crowd as she hyper focus on Tenya, looking at him with unbridled excitement.

Soon Midnight raises her whip and slam it to the ground in a loud thud, announcing them to start.
