After leaving the company,

Melissa temporarily let go of Itadori's hand, placed her hands behind her back, bent slightly, and playfully said, "Itadori, my father's company is holding an exhibition carnival for the latest hero props. Can we go see it together?"

"It's best we head to the branch of the Hero Association on this island first. Those guys are looking for me."

"The Hero Association?"

Melissa frowned slightly.

"What's wrong?"

"Hmm—nothing."

Melissa shook her head and explained, "It's just that lately, when I mentioned the Hero Association, my dad seemed unhappy for some reason. He didn't say anything when I asked him."

"You want me to ask for you?"

Itadori chuckled.

"No, that's not necessary, but you have to be careful. Even the most powerful heroes have to obey the orders of the association."

Melissa took Itadori's arm with a hint of concern.

"That's not necessarily true."

Itadori's mouth curled up slightly.

Mission entrusted by the Hero Association

"This is the branch of the Hero Association on I Island!"

Melissa jumped ahead of Itadori, raising her hand toward the skyscraper in front of them.

Though Itadori didn't understand English well, he could still recognize the word "Hero" on the building.

"Wait for me here."

Itadori glanced sideways and walked past Melissa.

"Well, be careful."

Melissa stood at the steps below the door, smiling softly, her demeanor completely different from that of any other woman he'd encountered.

"Itadori from U.A. High School, right? Follow me."

When Itadori showed his ID, the security guard at the door looked surprised, then turned and led the way.

They took the elevator to a conference room on the top floor of the building.

The spacious conference room was as big as a basketball court, with a row of mahogany tables by the window.

Sitting there was a group of middle-aged men in suits and ties, people Itadori didn't recognize.

Itadori couldn't remember any of these people's names.

"Itadori, U.A. High School, Quirk: Stand [The World], has the ability to stop time for about 1 to 2 seconds, currently a first-year student at U.A. High School."

"Stop talking nonsense."

Itadori interrupted a middle-aged man with oily hair sitting in the middle, who was holding his file, and said coldly, "Hurry up and start the trade."

"Trade?"

Hearing the word, a trace of displeasure flashed across the faces of the senior members of the Hero Association.

"As a reserve hero, is this your attitude toward commissions?"

The greasy-haired middle-aged man said, dissatisfied.

"If it weren't for certain circumstances, do you think I'd come all the way here to meet with you guys? Come on, tell me."

Itadori's face gradually showed impatience.

He had no interest in the Hero Association members.

Seeing this, the senior executive was too tired to say anything more and took out a document from a drawer.

With a flick of his finger, it flew in front of Itadori like a dart.

Itadori thought the man was an office worker, but it turned out he had his own quirk.

Itadori took the paper and saw the information sheet of a middle-aged man with red hair combed backward, with bangs that somewhat resembled All Might's iconic style.

He had fierce features and a large build.

Next to his picture was the name: Wolfram.

"This man is an internationally famous mercenary, Wolfram. His quirk is Metal Manipulation, and he is ranked within the top 10 of Japanese heroes."

The senior staff explained, "Recently, he and his subordinates infiltrated I Island by some unknown method. We haven't located him yet. Perhaps... there is a traitor within the island management who helped smuggle them in."

The senior staff gritted their teeth and continued, "Originally, we wanted to assign this task to a professional hero, but we feared it might alert the enemy. So we want you to catch him!"

Itadori glanced at the basic information on Wolfram, then turned to the senior members of the Hero Association, "If I accidentally kill him... is that alright?"

The senior executives looked at each other, thought for a moment, and agreed, "If it comes to that, you are allowed to do so."

"As expected, this is a place where you can freely use your quirks. It's different from the old-fashioned Japanese Hero Association."

Itadori waved his hand and turned away.

As soon as he exited the Hero Association building, Melissa quickly approached and asked, "How did it go? Is everything alright?"

"It's just a small matter. I'll take care of it quickly."

Itadori smiled faintly.

Top 10 level?

With his current power, he needed to be at least in the top 5 to evolve [The World] again.

To be honest, Itadori didn't think much of the mercenary leader.

The only issue was finding him.

With a snap of his fingers, Petra swooped down at high speed and landed on Itadori's shoulder.

Melissa was startled by Petra's sudden flight but quickly stared at the peregrine falcon wearing a helmet and scarf with curiosity.

"Find him."

Itadori showed Petra Wolfram's information sheet.

Petra spread her wings and soared high, quickly disappearing from sight.

"As long as these mercenaries dare to show themselves, Petra will find them."

Melissa seemed curious and was about to ask something.

But Itadori had already grabbed her hand and said, "Aren't you going to be my tour guide? Let's go."

"Eh? Yeah!"

Melissa was initially stunned, then nodded excitedly.

Itadori hated explaining such things.

'By the way, today is the last day of the workplace experience, right?'

Itadori thought to himself, but with Melissa's company, he quickly pushed the thought aside as the day passed.

That evening, Melissa had to return to the dormitory. After apologizing to Itadori repeatedly, her graceful figure quickly disappeared through the school gate.

As Itadori walked back to the hotel, Petra slowly descended from the sky and landed on his shoulder.

"Didn't find him? Never mind. Of course, these guys only come out at night."

Itadori casually grabbed a cup of coffee from a roadside vendor and walked deeper into the night, "Okay, now it's time to get to work."

Around 4 in the morning.

I Island Pier, inside a factory.

A passenger ship slowly sailed into the factory warehouse via the waterway.

On the ship, several armed mercenaries jumped off and said to the burly man wearing an iron mask standing at the dock, "Boss, we're going to act today, right?"

"Yeah."

Although the man wore an iron mask, his identity could be easily guessed by his figure and his distinctive backward red hair.

The man sneered, "David Shield is such an idiot. How could he possibly return such a good thing? Once we get that thing, we won't have to fear the Hero Association or even All Might."

However, the mercenaries hadn't noticed the high windows on the edge of the factory, more than ten meters away.

Itadori was sitting by the window, swinging his right foot. Petra stood on his shoulder, her eyes grim.

"I overheard something interesting... Okay, I'll let you live for 20 more hours."

___

- Melissa, excuse me, could you please go pick up All Might at Park Plaza?

I Island, in the dormitory of the school.

Melissa, who had just woken up, received a text message from her father, David.

"Oops, I forgot Uncle Might was coming today!"

Melissa's body nearly exploded out of her pajamas. When she saw the message on her phone, she gasped in surprise.

Quickly flipping through Itadori's contact list, she sent a message:

- I'm sorry, Itadori, I have to pick up Uncle Might today. You're also his student. Would you like to come with me?"

After editing the message, Melissa immediately began getting ready.

After putting on the same school uniform as yesterday, she grabbed her phone and hurried out.

Bzzz!

Melissa felt her phone vibrate in her bag and quickly pulled it out to check:

- No.

The reply was just these two simple words.

Melissa pouted and ran to the park square where they had agreed to meet without responding.

___

I Island, Park Plaza.

"Ahahahaha! The fans are still as enthusiastic as ever!"

All Might, in his muscular form, wearing his battle suit, laughed, his hands on his hips.

The lipstick marks on his face showed what kind of attack he had just suffered.

Izuku Midoriya stood by, hunched over, gasping for breath.

The riot by All Might's fans had really given him a hard time.

"Oh, All Mighg we came here to I Island this time to look for someone, right?"

After catching his breath, Izuku Midoriya straightened up and asked.

"Ah, yes, he was my former companion, the great..."

"Uncle Might!"

Before All Might could finish his words, a young girl's energetic voice rang out from afar.

The two turned to look in the direction of the sound.

Melissa quickly jumped over the steps and trotted over.

"Oh! Melissa, you're here!"

All Might greeted her with a smile.

"Is this All Might's friend? Too, too young, right?"

Seeing Melissa running toward him, Izuku Midoriya thought in disbelief.
