MHA: Transmigrating into Mina's Brother as Majin Buu

Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Nomu for a snack?

Not really... not yet

Anim landed in the central plaza with enough force to crack the concrete beneath his feet, his protective energy blazing around him like a pink-white aurora. The sight of Aizawa's broken form lying motionless near the fountain made something cold and furious settle in his chest.

"Oh, this is perfect!" Shigaraki clapped his hands together like an excited child, the disembodied hands covering his body swaying with his movements. "A new player! And he looks angry! This is gonna be so much fun!"

The Nomu turned toward Anim with mechanical precision, its exposed brain glistening under the facility's lights. Up close, the creature was even more horrifying—muscles that shouldn't exist, a beak that could probably bite through steel, and eyes that held no intelligence, only programmed violence.

"Boss monster's ready for the fight!" Shigaraki giggled, scratching at his neck with increasing intensity. "This is just like Final Fantasy! The angry player comes to challenge the raid boss!"

"You sick freak," Anim snarled, his body already beginning to stretch and prepare for combat. "This isn't a game. That's our teacher you just tried to murder."

"Murder? No, no, no!" Shigaraki waved his hands dismissively. "It's just damage points! NPCs don't really die, they just... respawn somewhere else!"

The casual dismissal of human life made Anim's protective energy flare even brighter. This wasn't just some misguided villain with a cause—this was a lunatic who genuinely couldn't tell the difference between reality and fantasy.

"Nomu," Shigaraki said, pointing at Anim like he was selecting a target in a video game. "New player looks tough. Show him your special attack!"

The creature moved faster than something that size had any right to. One moment it was standing beside Shigaraki, the next it was in front of Anim with a massive fist already swinging toward his head.

Anim's body compressed and stretched around the attack, but even with his enhanced reflexes, he barely managed to avoid the full impact. The wind from the punch alone was enough to send him skidding backward across the concrete.

"Holy shit," he breathed, staring at the crater where the Nomu's fist had hit the ground. "What the hell is that thing?"

"Bio-engineered specifically to fight All Might!" Shigaraki said proudly, like he was showing off a new toy. "Super strength, shock absorption, regeneration—it's got all the best stats! Isn't it cool?"

The Nomu came at him again, this time with both fists swinging in a pattern that would have pulverized a normal person. Anim flowed between the attacks, his body bending and stretching in ways that defied physics, but he could feel the displacement of air from each near-miss.

"This thing is insane," he muttered, launching a stretched punch at the creature's exposed brain.

His fist connected solidly, and for a moment he thought he'd done real damage. Then the Nomu's head simply absorbed the impact, the flesh rippling like water before returning to its original shape.

"Shock absorption!" Shigaraki called out helpfully. "It's like having infinite defense points! Cool, right?"

The Nomu grabbed for him with hands the size of dinner plates. Anim stretched his torso to avoid the grip, but the creature was learning, adapting to his movement patterns with disturbing speed.

"Anim!" Jiro's voice cut through the sounds of combat. She was still at the edge of the plaza with Kaminari, but her earphone jacks were plugged into the ground. "I can hear more villains coming from the entrance! A lot of them!"

Great. As if fighting a bio-engineered monster wasn't hard enough.

"Reinforcements!" Shigaraki cheered. "This level is getting really exciting! Oh, I hope All Might shows up soon—I want to see the final boss battle!"

Anim dodged another devastating punch, his mind racing. The Nomu was too strong and too durable for him to defeat through normal means. But maybe normal wasn't what this situation called for.

He thought about the energy flowing around him, the way it had grown stronger with each fight, each moment of danger. It felt familiar, like something he'd always known how to do but had forgotten until now.

Ki. The word surfaced from the fragments of his past life's memories. Energy manipulation beyond simple Quirk usage. Power that came from within rather than from genetic mutation.

"Let's see how you handle this," he muttered, closing his eyes and reaching deeper into that well of energy.

The protective aura around him began to change, shifting from defensive to something more active. Instead of just absorbing attacks, it started to pulse with offensive potential.

"Ooh, the player's powering up!" Shigaraki said, clapping again. "This is just like an anime! Are you gonna scream and make your hair change color too?"

Anim opened his eyes, and for the first time since the fight began, he smiled. "Something like that."

He moved faster than he had before, his energy-enhanced body carrying him around the Nomu's guard. This time, when his fist connected with the creature's torso, the impact carried more than just physical force.

The Nomu staggered backward, actually showing signs of damage for the first time.

"What?" Shigaraki's voice rose to a higher pitch. "That's not supposed to happen! Nomu has infinite defense!"

"Nothing's infinite," Anim said, pressing his attack. His punches carried streams of energy now, each impact doing real damage to the bio-engineered monster. "Everything has limits."

But even as he gained the upper hand, he could hear what Jiro had warned him about—footsteps echoing through the facility's entrance. More villains were coming, and he was already pushing himself to his limits against just one opponent.

"This is taking too long," he realized, backing away from the increasingly desperate Nomu.

That's when the entrance doors exploded inward.

"FEAR NOT!" a familiar voice boomed across the facility. "FOR I AM HERE!"

All Might stood in the doorway like a force of nature given human form, his presence so overwhelming that even Shigaraki stopped giggling for a moment.

"All Might!" Shigaraki's voice cracked with excitement. "Finally! The final boss is here! Now we can have the real fight!"

But Anim was looking at their teacher, noting the slight tightness around his eyes, the way his smile seemed just a fraction less bright than usual. Something was wrong.

"Young Ashido!" All Might called out, his voice carrying easily across the plaza. "Well done holding them off! Now leave this to me!"

"But sensei—"

"GO! Protect your classmates!"

Anim wanted to argue, wanted to stay and help, but one look at All Might's expression told him this wasn't up for debate. Whatever was about to happen, the Symbol of Peace needed to handle it alone.

He retreated toward where Jiro was waiting, his protective energy still pulsing around him as he watched All Might square off against the Nomu.

"Is he going to be okay?" Jiro asked quietly.

"He's All Might," Anim replied, though he couldn't shake the feeling that something was very wrong about this whole situation.

In the center of the plaza, Shigaraki was practically vibrating with excitement as his "final boss battle" finally began.

But as Anim watched All Might's first punch connect with the Nomu, he couldn't help but notice that the creature didn't go flying like it should have.

This was going to be a very different kind of fight than anyone expected.

Author's Note: So... I don't really know how Ki works in dragon ball, I'm gonna asume it may work similar to Nen, so its kind of how I made it, just didn't explicitly lay it the same way.

(If ya'll want it changed to properly fit the description feel free to leave a comment here, just make sure it fits the text accordingly as... well, I'm lazy to adapt to it :)... thanks!)
