Chapter 80: Chapter 42 Invisibility Part 2
Faint blue Magic Power Light Sand floated in the air and then converged beside Hexia's hand. She closed her eyes to carefully sense it, then gently caressed it, and the laceration on the belly of the fat man in front of her slowly healed, with ruptured organs being repaired, blood vessels reconnecting and clearing. Subsequently, some internal bleeding and other hidden injuries were also neatly dealt with.
After she was done with him, she repeated the process and healed the other few injured people.
Phew, kind of tired.
When finished, the girl wiped the sweat beads off her forehead, her black hair slightly disheveled, feeling a bit exhausted.
Healing others and healing oneself are not the same. She was absolutely familiar with and in control of her own body, requiring very little energy to recover, but it was different for others.
After resting for a while and seeing that the others had no abnormalities and their breathing had gradually stabilized, Hexia also stood up from her seat.
She pulled her hood back over from the back of her coat and prepared to leave. It seemed it was time to go back.
The closed iron door twisted open, but outside was not the calmness she had seen before entering.
A broken fang flew past her, hitting the wall, bouncing up, then falling down, splattering a bit of blood.
Not far away, a flesh monster as large as a lion was pressing down on Qiao Long. Its gaping maw filled with sharp fangs and teeth, it growled menacingly, exhaling a foul, hot breath, while Qiao Long held the beast's upper and lower jaws, struggling to pry them apart to prevent them from closing.
The two powerhouses were locked in a fierce struggle. On the other side, Jennifer, with her short purple-green hair, was holding a pistol and firing nonstop at a nimble beast that moved swiftly across the ceiling and walls. The creature was as crafty as a monkey but equally ferocious, its claws and teeth still smeared with blood and flesh.
In the moment Jennifer's firing faltered, the monkey-like creature suddenly pounced down, biting down hard on her gun-holding wrist, eliciting sounds of splintering bone.
"Hiss—" Jennifer's face twisted in pain, but she also seized the opportunity to grab the back of the creature's head with her other hand.
A chilling cold that stiffened living things spread, and progressively, the creature clamped on her wrist became motionless, and Jennifer finally threw it to the ground, where it turned stiff.
Hexia walked over, and by this time, the struggle between Qiao Long and the blood lion had also changed.
After regaining some strength, Qiao Long kicked the blood lion's body, flipping it over onto the ground, and then applied force again and again. The muscles and blood vessels in his arms bulged until he tore the blood lion's jaws apart, bringing with it steaming flesh and ghastly white bones.
In intense pain, the blood lion struggled fiercely, almost overturning Qiao Long a few times, its hook-like black claws scraping his back into a bloody mess.
Unfortunately, with the huge blood loss and without its fangs and teeth, the creature's death was inevitable.
Qiao Long reached into the blood lion's throat, continuously ripping, destroying its lungs and viscera, until the beast gradually stopped resisting and slowly became silent.
"Was this another attack?"
Hexia came to the two, scanning the surroundings. Many of the gang members who had been guarding outside were now dead or injured, with only a few still capable of moving.
"I can't heal this many people," she shook her head.
"It's fine, no need to trouble the young mistress here," Qiao Long stood up, shaking the blood off his hands and then looking for something to wipe them with.
As a Transcendent of the Dragon Sequence, his body was robust and with strong recovery abilities, and these wounds would naturally heal in a few days.

Hexia did not respond but instead put her hands in her coat pockets and slowly walked out of the base, sensing something unusual outside.
The cavern was still pitch black, the dim light from a few broken lamps illuminating the surroundings, the ground marked with craters from fighting, corpses, and bloodstains. Despite the mask filtration, the air still smelled far from pleasant.
The air was very quiet, as if there was no living thing around.
Yet, Hexia's gaze was drawn to a corner in the darkness that seemed empty. However, in her mind's consciousness, there was clearly someone standing there, motionless like a ghost.
Frowning slightly, just as Hexia was about to draw her gun to warn, the figure suddenly fled.

Is this guy the culprit behind the chaos? the girl thought.
I really don't want to get involved in an underground chase like this. She's only 16, not even a high school student yet, with no desire to become a savior of the world.
"Did you find something?"
At that moment, Qiao Long came out supporting Jennifer, whose wrist had been simply cleaned and bandaged by now.
"Yes, someone who can become invisible." Hexia's voice was soft and seemed out of place in this underground world.
On hearing this, Jennifer gave Qiao Long a look. She hadn't expected this man to actually bring a schoolgirl along; previously, she had just thought the doctor was a bit peculiar or perhaps small in stature.
"Is there any way for me to see through his invisibility?" Qiao Long placed Jennifer on a nearby bench, then walked over to Hexia.
"It's unlikely for you."
The girl shook her head. Although the Dragon Sequence did have secret techniques to see through invisibility, such things required a lot of knowledge. One would probably not come across them until university, and Qiao Long was clearly a drop-out, with no hope of learning it any time soon.
"I can see through his invisibility, but I don't want to get involved anymore." Hexia explained as she shook her head. This chaos had already drawn the attention of the Federal Government, and for all she knew, the authorities might have already dispatched troops to crack down on the situation. Getting involved again, especially being discovered underground, would complicate matters and bring a lot of trouble.
She wanted to attend her school's retest in a few days, then go to school and continue on the normal trajectory of a person's life. Helping out this one time in the Underground was an act of soft-heartedness, and she was not going to continue being soft-hearted.
In today's age, where information was rampant, even though Hexia Tilan knew she had a special talent, she dared not reveal it casually. It could bring good things, but also potentially a lot of trouble.
She disliked troubles, preferring the solitude of a quiet corner, watching the bustling and beautiful world, leading a simple life undisturbed.
"However..."
Even though Hexia didn't want to get involved, she didn't say she would stand completely by either.
With a light touch to her forehead, specks of blue Light Sand gathered, eventually forming a palm-sized deep blue crystal in her hand.
This crystal, formed by the condensation of Withering Sequence magic power and already inscribed and converted, could create a manifesting mist if crushed, allowing Qiao Long to briefly see the figure of the invisible person.
"This is for you." Hexia tossed the Crystal Stone to Qiao Long, giving a brief explanation on how to use it.
"You only have one chance, whether you catch him or not is up to you."
Then she jumped down from the stone she had been standing on; it was time for her to leave.
"Don't forget what you promised, you'll help me find someone later."
