Chapter 6: ch6- summon the what?? of the what???? (edited)
As Aster stood in the castle, he felt a sense of pride and accomplishment wash over him. He had done it. He had actually built a kingdom.
The sound of his radio crackling to life broke the silence. "Overlord, this is Echo-1. We have multiple contacts at grid sector 4-7-9. Requesting backup," a voice said over the radio.
Aster's eyes flicked to the radio, but he didn't respond. He knew that General Smith and the military were handling the situation.
"Echo-1, this is Overlord. Hold tight, backup is en route," General Smith's voice responded over the radio.
Aster listened intently as the radio chatter continued. "Bravo-6, this is Overlord. Air support is en route. Hold tight."
"Roger that, Overlord. We have a pack of level-3 werewolves closing in on our position," Bravo-6 responded.
Aster's grip on the radio tightened as he listened to the intense battle unfolding. He knew that his military was well-trained, but the monsters were relentless.
"System, open spatial summoning ticket," Aster said, his voice filled with excitement.
[Opening.... Congratulations.... Error.... Error.... Rebooting 40%..... 70%.... 85%..... 96%...]
Aster's eyes widened in alarm as the system rebooted. What was happening?
[Restarting system]
Aster let out a sigh of relief as the system came back online.
"System, what just happened?" Aster asked.
[The system update now allows summoning fictional characters from their main worlds and alternative worlds. The number of summons is random, and they can be from different worlds or genres.]
Aster's mind reeled as he tried to process the information. He could summon characters from his favorite books, TV shows, and movies?
"System, I don't know if this is good or bad," Aster said, feeling a sense of trepidation.
[They will see you as their God and creator. They will have 100% die-hard loyalty and will not rebel.]
Aster nodded, feeling a sense of relief. He decided to summon his first character.
"System, summon a character from the spatial summoning ticket," Aster said, his voice filled with excitement.
The air in the room began to distort, and a brilliant light filled the space. The light grew brighter and brighter, until it became a miniature sun that illuminated the entire room.
As the light faded, a figure stood before Aster. It was a tall, imposing man with piercing red eyes and jet-black hair. He wore a suit of black armor adorned with intricate golden filigree, and a crimson cape flowed behind him like a river of blood.
Aster's eyes widened in surprise as the man bowed deeply, his armor creaking with the movement.
"Greetings, my lord," the man said, his voice like thunder. "I am Ainz Ooal Gown, the Overlord of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. I have been summoned from a universe where I achieved ultimate power and domination."
Aster's eyes widened in shock as he realized who he had summoned. Ainz Ooal Gown, the legendary Overlord from the world of Yggdrasil.
"I...I didn't expect to summon you," Aster stuttered, still trying to process the situation.
Ainz smiled, his red eyes glinting with amusement.
"It matters not, my lord," Ainz said. "I am here now, and I will serve you with absolute loyalty. What is your will, my lord?"
