Monster Integration

Chapter 4360: Village

When I woke up, it was morning.

I am on the bed in a room in a cottage made of wood and stone. It is a beautiful room; nearly everything is handmade here.

Made by the primes.

This realm has high spatial pressure, along with energy, that degrades the spatial workings. This means even if one had brought their storage ring safely to this place, it wouldn't survive for more than a few minutes.

Even the strongest spatial storage won't survive for more than a few weeks.

I had slept for three days; it might seem like a lot, but it is not. The three and a half months had healed my injuries, but full power extraction injured me again.

Even now, I am not fully recovered. However, I could use my full strength if I push myself, which I would rather not do unless I am forced to.

I stayed on the bed before walking toward the bathroom, where I freshened up and showered.

When I came out, I changed into new clothes before stepping out of the room.

As I did, I saw both of the primes sitting in the living room.

"How are you feeling?" asked Prime Rava. "Good," I replied and sat in front of them as she offered the seat.

"I am Arys," I introduced.

"I am afraid we have not heard about you. Even in the sealed realm, we are up to date with the latest information of the world," said Prime Avana.

It isn't surprising, if what she said about people popping in this realm is right.

"That's because I am not of this world," I replied to their shock. They recovered quickly and looked at runes floating around my body before turning to me.

"Really?" asked Prime Rava. "Yes," I affirmed.

"Which world?" asked Prime Avana, while Rave gave her the look. I didn't reply, only smiled at the question. I never answered the question; whenever someone asked, I only smiled.

It is the best answer since answering things will make things only difficult.

"Since you are the latest to come, I hope you will provide us with the latest information about the world, especially about the events of the past few decades."

"You are the third person to come in a decade, the second Prime in a century. So, you could imagine our hunger for the latest information," she said.

"Of course," I replied.

A moment later, hundred and twenty-four information crystals flew toward them.

I had already expected they would ask for it and had asked my clone to compile information before I went through the extraction two days ago.

"I also have a few questions. I hope you will answer them," I said, and both of them smiled.

"About exit, right?" asked Prime Avana, and I nodded.

There are a lot of things I want to know about this place, but the one I most want to know about is the exit, since they have been here for hundreds of years, millennia.

They should know everything about this place, especially the exit.

"I wouldn't say there isn't an exit," said Prime Rava, her expression somber.

"It is a spatial hole that appears every three to three and a half years, but it is impossible to go through it. I have seen more primes killed by it than I like to say," she added.

"Is it unstable?" I asked. To that she laughed.

"If it had been unstable, there might have been a chance. No, it is simply a spatial grinder; it kills people. I have seen it kill the Prime, who was nearly as powerful as the Silver Prime," she replied.

Hearing that, I couldn't help but shudder.

"I hope you will provide me with complete data on that," I said. That, she didn't say anything, but a moment later, one of the shiny stones on the wall came floating toward me.

I caught it and sent it to my core.

"Come, I will give you the tour of the village. There are many people who wants to meet you," said Prime Avana as she got up.

"I got up with her and walked toward the door.

Click!

She opened the door, and we walked outside, and I saw the village.

It is on the mountain, with a building all around it. Some are small to fit one person, while others are as big as palaces.

"Some people have been here for over millennia. Such a long time could be maddening without a hobby." She said, seeing me staring at a massive statue of a woman in the center of the village.

It is very tall, the tallest structure in the whole village.

Around the village is the massive wall, and when I felt it, I couldn't help but be surprised. It is powerful as an organization's protection formation.

Seeing that I looked at the other defenses and saw the whole village was a part of the massive formation, which is carved into every brick of this village.

It is a very powerful formation, and it would become even more powerful once the Prime started handling it.

I hope the one who designed the formation is still alive. It is an impressive formation, and I want to pick their brains about it.

"The village has very powerful defenses," I said. She looked surprised but nodded.

"The realm isn't without dangers. The defenses might look strong, but they had been breached many times by the monsters and other enemies," she replied, her eyes turning to the wall.

We stepped out of the compound of her cottage and immediately felt the eyes of people.

There are tens of people around me, from Sovereigns to Prime. I could see them all, and when I looked at Prime, I couldn't help but be surprised.

All the primes here have laws, and their comprehension is more powerful than average.

"What's with the powerful comprehension here? It shouldn't be just the seclusion," I asked, and the woman smiled.

"Let me answer that, Prime Avana," said the voice, and I turned.

A man appeared beside us. Seeing him, a shock couldnt help but spread in my heart.

In front of me is a tall, handsome man. He looked to be in his middle-ages. He is stone-skinned with marble skin that is dark as night and has yellow, sun-like bright eyes.

I know him; he should be dead. He was declared dead, but here, the man is alive.

I opened my mouth and stopped the word; I was about to speak.

"Another dead man," I said instead, and he grinned. "You will find a lot of dead people here, new friend," he replied.

"Arys," I introduced.

"To answer your question, Prime Arys. This place has a strong connection with the quintessence. Strong enough that once one becomes Prime, they would comprehend the law within a decade." He replied.

It shocked me.

A decade might seem long for many, but ask any Prime, and they would see it as a very short time.

Most don't comprehend laws, and those who do take decades and even centuries to do comprehend. So, having a connection strong enough to comprehend the law in a decade is a huge thing.

People would kill for this place, and some might even be willing to come here, despite knowing they will be trapped forever.

The law is too enticing.
