Mountain, I Bought It – Living in Another World Isn’t Bad Either

Chapter 24

Chapter 24. First Time Using the App 1

After finishing my meal, I thought about washing the chopsticks, and suddenly remembered.

“That’s right, the toilet and the bathhouse!”

And I hadn’t downloaded the Storage app yet either.

In a panic, I took out the tablet from my backpack and turned it on. The screen felt glaringly bright in the surrounding darkness.

“Okay, first, before downloading, just to be safe, I should check Tateru-kun.”

I launched the app and looked at the building menu. When I checked it at home, only the names and required points were displayed, but now that I’m here, there’s a details button.

Pressing it shows the required materials.

“What’s this, Small Hut (Dirt Floor) requires 20 pieces of wood… Wood!? Wait, 20 pieces, huh!?”

Does that mean I have to cut down the surrounding trees!?

The only trees I can cut are young ones, and those wouldn’t be strong enough to build a hut.

“Oh, right. I can use Hirogeru-kun to Chop them.”

But then I’d have to use KP, and using the app doesn’t generate KP, so my KP would just keep decreasing.

“Wait a minute… At this rate, I’ll never be able to build a log cabin…”

Feeling deflated, I also checked the simple toilet and bathhouse.

First of all, isn’t a simple toilet made of plastic or something? There’s no way I could get materials like that in the middle of the mountains, I thought.

“…Huh? No materials needed?”

Not only is there a discount, but I don’t even need to prepare the materials. The bathhouse is the same.

“Wow! Lord Ignos is amazing!”

I couldn’t help but raise the tablet and shout in the darkness.

…Good thing no one was watching.

“Anyway, first, the toilet, the toilet.”

I pressed the selection button for the simple toilet.

“Whoa!? Why does it appear right in front of me!?”

A brand-new simple toilet appeared right in front of the tent.

When it was the Inari shrine, it didn’t appear right in front but at a distance!?

“Ugh! I don’t want the toilet here. I think there was something like a map. Can I move it with this?”

I found the menu. Opening it, a map of the open area I’m in appeared. It seems to be a horizontally elongated terrain, showing a path on the opposite side from where I came in by car.

“Well, I’ll check that later. As for where to place the toilet…”

Not too far, but not right next to the tent.

“Maybe diagonally behind the tent. I don’t think it’ll smell, but I don’t want to see it.”

The map shows the tent, the car, and the simple toilet.

“Now, if I move this with my finger… Oh! It worked!”

The simple toilet that was in front of me floated slightly, then silently moved diagonally behind the tent. It’s like a game or something. I never thought I’d see it move right in front of me.

“Next is the bathhouse. This will probably appear in front too.”

If I stand near where I want to place it, maybe the bathhouse itself will appear.

That thought turned out to be correct.

“Ah, that’s a relief.”

Exhausted, I sat down on the folding chair and finished the remaining canned chu-hai.
