Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Green-Haired Girl

[Energy Absorption Experience +1]
...
[Congratulations, Energy Absorption has upgraded!]
[Energy Absorption lv3 (1/1000): Capable of absorbing almost all types of energy, with significantly higher absorption speed and energy storage capacity.]
After the upgrade, Alex immediately noticed a significant change in his energy absorption abilities.
First, the types of energy he could absorb had increased. He could now absorb nuclear energy, and even magical energy, which he couldn't absorb before.
In addition, the speed of energy absorption had tripled! The energy storage capacity also increased threefold, allowing him to maintain the Limitless Technique for at least half an hour, perform the full-powered Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue more than six times, or use the minimum power of Cursed Technique Reversal: Red three times!
From the character template, he learned that the minimum power of Cursed Technique Reversal: Red is at least twice the maximum power of Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue. This not only represents a more terrifying consumption of energy but also a more astonishing destructive power.
However, Alex knew that his previous successful use of Cursed Technique Reversal: Red was a stroke of luck. He might not be able to pull it off again. Moreover, his previous Cursed Technique Reversal: Red was incomplete, with a lot of energy dissipating. Using it in such a manner twice would deplete his energy.
So, until he gained more experience and mastery over Cursed Technique Reversal: Red from the character template, it was best not to use it. The consumption wasn't the main issue; uncontrolled dispersal of energy hitting his brain would be bad.
Currently, his Reversed Cursed Technique hasn't reached the level where he can regenerate even if he loses his brain.
Besides the enhanced energy capacity, the increased energy absorption speed was a huge benefit to Alex. If his assumptions were correct, he could now withstand shots from small-caliber rifles and fully absorb the kinetic energy of the bullets.
This meant that even without activating the Limitless Technique, Alex was no longer afraid of sneak attacks.
Unfortunately, the levels of the Limitless Technique and the Reversed Cursed Technique were still too low. He wasn't sure what specific level they needed to reach to match Satoru Gojo's abilities.
That level would allow the Limitless Technique to be maintained for long periods while the RCT constantly repaired his brain and autonomously filtered out threats.
And if the skill levels were raised further, even poisons and space attacks that Satoru Gojo couldn't filter out would be defensible!
As his skills continued to improve, Alex would surpass Satoru Gojo and reach a realm Gojo had never achieved.
Imagining the future, Alex felt excited, even anticipating the day he could activate a character template with dimensional travel abilities and visit the world of "Jujutsu Kaisen."
Using the same techniques to defeat the Satoru Gojo there would indeed be quite amusing.
After continually absorbing electrical energy and fully replenishing his internal energy, Alex advanced his template fusion to 27% before leaving the sewer.
The sewer exit was in a secluded alley. As Alex planned to buy a new set of clothes, he suddenly noticed a girl staring at him in shock nearby.
The girl had green hair and looked dirty and helpless. However, through the Six Eyes, he could see the immense green energy hidden within her and the iron objects around her that seemed ready to move.
Alex immediately recognized the girl: Polaris.
Polaris, real name Lorna Dane, was Magneto's daughter. She had the power to control magnetism, and at her peak, she could manipulate the Earth's magnetic field, making her a powerful mutant not inferior to Magneto.
Unexpectedly, he had run into her here?
Alex found it a bit strange but quickly remembered that this universe was not one he knew but an unknown parallel universe. With Marvel's countless versions of universes, nothing was surprising.
Alex had no intention of engaging with Polaris, but Polaris clearly wasn't going to let him go. She recognized the man before her, known by the media as the most powerful mutant of the current age, the world's greatest threat, the white haired mutant.
He was also called the savior and leader by mutants! Regardless of the title, it meant the man before her was extremely powerful, even more so than her father, Magneto!
Seeing Alex leaving, she instinctively tried to use her powers to stop him, wrenching a metal pipe from the wall and sending it flying towards Alex, intending to block his path.
But...
Polaris was stunned to see her controlled metal stop dead in its tracks as it approached Alex, unable to move an inch further.
Instead of being disappointed, she felt even more thrilled. The stronger Alex was, the more likely he could lead mutants to liberation from human oppression!
Just as she was about to smile and say something to Alex, her smile froze.
Alex slowly turned his head, his azure eyes devoid of any emotion.
Being stared at by those deathly blue eyes, Polaris immediately felt an overwhelming pressure, as if Death itself had placed its scythe at her neck, ready to claim her soul at any moment.
Then she heard a cold voice from ahead, "Isn't it good to continue living?"
Hearing this deathly whisper, Polaris shivered violently, snapping out of her daze. She quickly spoke up:
"I mean you no harm. I just want to follow you and fight against the human government together!"
But Alex gave no response. He continued to walk slowly towards Polaris, his unhurried steps exerting immense pressure on her, as if an unstoppable force was pushing her into a deathly abyss.
Feeling the fatal threat, she instinctively used her powers, hurling a mass of metal at Alex.
But all the metal fell before Alex, unable to move an inch closer.
It was then that she understood the true weight of the white-haired mutant. He was unlike any mutant she had known, embodying a terrifying power of a different dimension.
Even when Polaris used all her strength to stop Alex, to halt the approach of death, it had no effect.
She was eventually cornered by Alex, the overwhelming pressure pinning her against the wall, making her unable to move.
Alex used energy to strengthen his body, ignoring Polaris in front of him. He deeply embedded his fingers into the largest metal pipe and then threw it forward.
The pipe, given immense kinetic energy by his seemingly slender arm, embedded deeply into the hard wall, right next to Polaris's ear.
"Lady, this is a warning. Next time, you won't be so lucky."
He then lightly moved his finger, and the surrounding metal, ignoring Polaris's control, embedded into the walls around her, encasing her.
Yawning, Alex walked away slowly, just as he had come, his long legs carrying him leisurely away. Summoning her courage, Polaris shouted:
"You are so strong. You could do so much, you could save the mutants. Why don't you take action?"
After a moment, just as she thought she was being ignored, she heard a nonchalant voice,
"Their suffering, what does it have to do with me?"
The White-Haired Mutant turned, revealing a handsome profile and deep azure eyes, smiling slightly,
"Don't try to bind me with morality because I have none."
