Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Military's Solution
Once his internal injuries were fully healed, Alex flew toward New York. For him, this distance was no longer a big deal.
Two Arc Reactors floated around Alex under the influence of his Limitless Technique, releasing vast amounts of energy that continually replenished him. There was even surplus energy for his system to absorb, improving his template fusion.
His primary goal in heading to New York was to eliminate Kingpin, the underground king who had caused him considerable trouble when he first arrived in this world.
Initially, Alex hadn't hunted down Kingpin because he couldn't confirm his whereabouts. Now, however, with his Six Eyes technique about to reach Lv3 and his newfound teleportation ability, his mobility was significantly enhanced. He could search the entire Hell's Kitchen in a short time, leaving Kingpin with nowhere to hide.
On his way to New York, Alex continuously activated his Six Eyes, scanning the surroundings. The experience points for the Six Eyes were steadily increasing.

...
Upon reaching the skies above New York, the system's notifications kept chiming, and the Six Eyes finally upgraded to Lv3!
[Six Eyes experience +1]
[Congratulations, your Six Eyes skill has leveled up!]
[Six Eyes Lv3 (1/1000): Grants 360-degree long-distance vision, the ability to see energy flows, incredible dynamic vision, enabling fine energy manipulation to maximize efficiency and minimize unnecessary energy loss]
A warm current flowed from Alex's mind into his eyes. His already impressive range of vision expanded rapidly, from 500 meters to 2000 meters—a fourfold increase compared to Lv2. Within this 2000-meter radius, everything was clearly visible. His X-ray vision also significantly enhanced, allowing him to see through several thick walls and view the scenery behind them.
Moreover, upon reaching Lv3, Six Eyes gained a new effect: reducing unnecessary energy consumption. This improvement substantially extended Alex's already impressive combat duration.
After assimilating all the new information, Alex grinned and took another step, arriving above Hell's Kitchen.
The hide-and-seek game was about to begin!
...
In a hidden military base, the satellite radar suddenly emitted an alarm.
In the highest commander's office, a well-trained soldier reported nervously, "General, the satellite radar detected an unknown flying object speeding towards New York at a top speed of Mach 5."
"What?!"
The general was shocked. The fastest aircraft today could only reach speeds of around Mach 3, yet this unknown flying object was traveling at Mach 5. How was that possible?
"Pull up the satellite feed and lock onto the unknown object. I want to see what it is!"
Since Tony Stark had announced himself as Iron Man, strange incidents had been occurring more frequently. Various masked individuals were appearing everywhere. Even the emergence of an unknown flying object traveling at Mach 5 wouldn't be overly surprising to the general at this point.
The soldier quickly operated the satellite, adjusting the camera to focus on the unknown flying object over Hell's Kitchen.
As the image on the screen became clear, they stared in stunned silence at what they saw.
Even the general, who had encountered countless emergencies throughout his career, was dumbfounded by the scene before him. A white-haired figure stood in mid-air above Hell's Kitchen, hands in pockets, looking down at everything below.
This figure was well-known to everyone present. Since the publication of those three reports, the military and government had been under immense pressure. Over the past few days, all top military officials had been studying the information on the White-Haired Mutant, attempting to find his weaknesses.
However, after days of sleepless research, the high-ranking military officers were despairingly aware that the White-Haired Mutant had no weaknesses! Superhuman physique, energy absorption, blue-black holes, red-black singularities, terrifying spatial defense…
He was an absolutely perfect mutant.
In the end, the exhausted high-ranking officials discovered that the White-Haired Mutant seemed to lack resistance to mental attacks. They immediately dispatched envoys to negotiate with Professor X, attempting to use the students at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters to coerce him into killing Alex.
But then they heard from Professor X: "The White-Haired Demon's mind is like a void. I can't sense anything, nor can I attack him."
The group didn't believe it at first, but when another mutant with psychic abilities who had encountered the White-Haired Mutant reported the same thing, they finally accepted it. Even Professor X couldn't do anything about the White-Haired Mutant's mind.
This reality left the entire military at a loss. If even mental attacks were perfectly resisted, did that mean the White-Haired Mutant had no weaknesses? How could there be such a perfect mutant?!
Because of this, top military officials held an emergency meeting two days ago. During the meeting, Colonel Stryker emphasized the danger posed by the White-Haired Mutant. He discussed the mutant's constantly growing powers and the potential for him to become impervious to nuclear weapons in the future.
If that happened, facing the god-like White-Haired Mutant, the government and military would have no power to resist, and the former would establish a new government! This statement galvanized the military and government leaders into deciding to use high-yield nuclear weapons to eliminate the White-Haired Mutant, nipping the crisis in the bud.
But now, what was happening?
Why had the White-Haired Demon's speed suddenly increased so dramatically, reaching nearly Mach 5—faster than the fastest fighter jets? How could nuclear weapons possibly hit him now?
What were they supposed to do now? The meticulously crafted plans of the military leaders seemed like a joke. At that moment, they saw the White-Haired Mutant on the screen suddenly look upward, as if he could see through thousands of meters to the surveillance satellite in space, and smirked disdainfully.
They instinctively took several steps back, and the general almost tripped, because it felt like the White-Haired Mutant was looking directly at them through the camera, his face close up on the screen. The next moment, the White-Haired Mutant ignored them and took another step, disappearing from where he stood.
Cold sweat poured from the general's forehead as he muttered repeatedly, "No, no, the plan can't be stopped. We need to deploy higher-yield nuclear weapons and launch a devastating attack on the White-Haired Mutant, even if it means destroying a city!"
In just a few days, that monster has become so terrifying. How powerful will he become if he continues to grow? Are they really going to let him become a god on Earth?
Above Hell's Kitchen, Alex looked up at the sky, sensing that he was being watched. This was an instinctual feeling granted by his newly upgraded Six Eyes at level 3.
However, Alex didn't care. It was likely the military tracking his movements using surveillance satellites. He gave a friendly smile in the direction he sensed the surveillance, then took a step and vanished.
Kingpin was waiting for him.
