Multicrossover: I Took Utaha's Virginity At The Beginning!

Chapter 18: Chapter 17: Public Target

Lunch could be a quick affair—just a few minutes and done.

Or it could stretch all the way until the bell rang.

That depended on the circumstances.

For Ryuu, his lunch plans changed midway.

Just as he was heading to the cafeteria, a message popped up on his phone.

Kasumigaoka Utaha: Rooftop.

Without hesitation, Ryuu changed course.

---

The moment he pushed open the rooftop door, his gaze landed on Utaha.

She was seated on a bench in the corner, a book open in her hands.

The rooftop was mostly empty, an ideal place for privacy.

It was the classic "protagonist's secret spot", a place where important moments always seemed to happen in school stories.

"Almost like some kind of destined event trigger."

With that thought, Ryuu approached.

"Hey, Utaha."

Utaha had already noticed him the moment the door opened.

However, she remained still—her literary image perfectly composed, as if waiting for a fateful encounter.

That composure, though, was shattered when Ryuu sat down right next to her.

"Well?" she asked, finally closing her book.

"Did that feel like a classic first meeting between a male and female lead?"

Ryuu smirked.

"Ah, right—there was a scene like this in Metronome of Love."

In her novel, the main couple had met for the first time on the school rooftop.

"But this doesn't feel like a first meeting," Ryuu said, casually reaching over to twirl a strand of her silky hair around his finger.

"After all, our relationship is already far beyond that."

Utaha's wine-red eyes locked onto his, and for a moment, she studied his expression.

Then—

A satisfied smile spread across her lips.

"Good answer."

But before she could say anything else—

Ryuu leaned back, resting the back of his head on her lap.

The classic knee pillow.

Paired with the silky smoothness of her stockings, it was an experience on another level.

"Now that's more like it."

Utaha's legs stiffened slightly, but she managed to keep them still.

"You're getting bold, Ryuu," she mused.

"Or maybe this is the real you."

Ryuu closed his eyes, smirking.

"Come on, Senpai, I've always been honest about my desires. In fact—"

He shifted, turning onto his side.

The new position made things far more intimate.

Immediately, Utaha tensed.

"You—!! Don't move!"

She pressed down on his head, stopping him from shifting further.

Even with her usual confidence, there were lines she wasn't ready to cross… yet.

Ryuu, seeing her rare flustered expression, laughed.

"Getting nervous, Senpai?"

"You're lucky I don't throw you off the rooftop," she muttered.

---

In an effort to change the topic, Utaha reached for the bag beside her.

Pulling out a wrapped package, she waved it in front of his face.

"Here. You haven't had lunch yet, right?"

Ryuu took it and unwrapped the packaging—

Yakisoba bread.

The school's most popular lunch item.

"Senpai, did you actually fight for this?"

Utaha huffed.

"Don't be ridiculous. I'm not some barbarian."

She flipped her hair dramatically before adding,

"As an honor student, I have the privilege of leaving class early."

Ryuu hissed in mock envy.

"Ah, the corrupt privileges of the elite."

Utaha let out a proud chuckle.

"Well, even if I don't have top student perks, I could just use my ability to leave class early."

Utaha froze, then immediately smacked his shoulder.

"You cheating sorcerer, just eat already!"

Ryuu, chuckling, reluctantly sat up and took a bite.

It was… surprisingly good.

After finishing the bread and letting it settle, he laid back down on her lap.

Utaha, seemingly resigned, let him rest.

Then, her fingertips started tracing the outline of his face.

She studied him, deep in thought.

"...You don't seem too bothered by what happened this morning."

Ryuu cracked an eye open.

"Are you being sarcastic?"

She smirked.

"Because of our little performance, the entire school is buzzing right now."

"And yet, here you are, completely unfazed."

Ryuu shrugged.

"It's your fault for declaring war in public."

Utaha laughed.

"Shouldn't you be happy?"

"A famous, beautiful Senpai publicly claimed you in front of everyone. Isn't that every guy's dream?"

Her voice dripped with amusement.

Ryuu, seeing how pleased she was, simply shrugged.

"Sure, if you say so."

"...Oh?"

Utaha's eyes narrowed mischievously.

"Ryuu-kun, are you not satisfied?"

She leaned in slightly.

"After all, I had to sacrifice my precious reputation for you."

"...Or did I interrupt your plans to pursue other girls?"

Ryuu met her gaze calmly.

"...You know, you're bringing this up, but weren't you the one who set the stage for it?"

Utaha tilted her head, feigning innocence.

"Oh? You mean those little comments you made about a harem?"

Her voice suddenly became cooler.

"...You weren't actually serious about that, were you?"

At that moment—

Ryuu felt it.

A distinct shift in her energy.

Possessiveness.

A level of jealousy and control that hadn't been there before.

...Was Utaha showing signs of yandere tendencies?

Unexpected.

But… useful.

Rather than hiding his true intentions, it was better to be upfront.

"Actually, Senpai… I've been keeping something from you."

Utaha's smirk faded.

"...Oh?"

She had only been teasing, but now she could tell—Ryuu was serious.

Her gaze darkened.

"...Don't tell me you're about to say that I'm not your first."

Ryuu shook his head.

"I wouldn't lie about that."

Immediately, her mood lightened.

She leaned closer.

"Then what are you hiding from me, Ryuu-kun?"

Calmly, Ryuu explained.

Just like he had done with Yumeko, he revealed his "family mission."

How his bloodline carried a Cursed Technique, how his clan had fallen, and how it was now his responsibility to rebuild it.

Utaha listened intently.

Unlike Yumeko, she didn't struggle to comprehend it.

She had already seen the supernatural in action.

And with her literary background, she understood the weight of ancient traditions.

She knew that long-standing families prioritized their legacy.

So when Ryuu mentioned his harem goal, it didn't sound like a selfish desire.

It sounded…

Necessary.

She gritted her teeth.

"In the end… it's about producing heirs, huh?"

Her fingers tightened around his sleeve.

"Fine."

She sighed.

"...But one person can bear many children, Ryuu-kun."

Her wine-red eyes locked onto his.

"If you think I'm letting some random girl take that role first—"

She leaned in, lips just inches from his ear.

"—then you don't know me very well, do you?"
