Multicrossover: I Took Utaha's Virginity At The Beginning!

Chapter 3: Chapter 2: Ryuu’s Current Status

Soubu Academy of Higher Education.

Originally known as Soubu High School, it had merged with the private Toyosato High, leading to its new name. This institution brought together notable students from both schools, including many faces Ryuu recognized from anime.

Class 1-F.

"Good morning, Ryuu-kun!"

As soon as Ryuu stepped into the classroom, several classmates greeted him with enthusiasm.

Ryuu, who had no issues with socializing, was well-liked both in his class and throughout the school. His sharp Uchiha-like appearance, combined with his athletic ability, made him stand out as one of the most popular first-years at Soubu Academy.

Talented, good-looking, and charismatic—qualities that naturally drew attention, especially in a high school setting where youthful energy and emotions ran high.

"Morning," Ryuu replied with a friendly smile before making his way to his usual seat by the window.

Like most classes, 1-F had its own social groups.

One group revolved around Aki Tomoya, who frequently discussed otaku culture. Another consisted of model students and regular kids. And then there was the "popular" group—Ryuu's by default—comprised of well-known students like Hayama Hayato and Miura Yumiko.

Before long, the usual group gathered around him.

"Yo, Ryuu."

Hayama, radiating his usual cheerful energy, walked over. "Great weather today, huh?"

"It's nice," Ryuu agreed before raising an eyebrow. "But isn't that a bit of a cliché opening line?"

"I was thinking the same thing," Yuigahama Yui giggled as she stepped forward. "How about just saying 'hello' instead?"

"That's so childish, Yui." Miura Yumiko gave her a disapproving look.

"Huh? Is it?" Yui asked, tilting her head.

"It's fine," Ryuu said with a smirk. He turned to her and playfully greeted, "Hello, Yui."

Yui's face brightened at the attention. "Hello, Ryuu!"

"Seriously," Yumiko sighed, shaking her head. She then shot Ryuu a mildly exasperated look. "You're way too nice to Yui."

Ebina Hina, who had been quietly observing, took note of her friend's reaction. Yumiko, you're practically broadcasting your jealousy right now.

As if sensing the unspoken tension, Yumiko quickly adjusted her tone. "I just mean that if you encourage her too much, she's gonna start saying weird stuff."

"I see no issue with that," Ryuu chuckled. "I just think of Yui as a mascot—a little dumpling. It's fine as long as she's cute."

"Dumpling?"

Yui blinked before realizing he was referring to her hairstyle. "Ohhh! You mean my twin buns?! Wait… being called a dumpling… actually sounds kinda cute."

"What's cute about that?" Yumiko scoffed.

"It's definitely not as cool as Yumiko's nickname," Ryuu mused. "I remember someone calling her the 'Queen of Hellfire' before."

Yumiko's face turned red instantly. "W-What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"

Ryuu smirked. "So, you don't deny the 'Queen' part?"

"Enough of that," Hayama interjected with a laugh. "I've been completely ignored in this conversation."

"Yeah, I did that on purpose," Ryuu said bluntly. "I don't wanna hear you pushing the soccer club on me again."

"I was just going to say that," Hayama sighed.

Tobe, who had been standing nearby, clapped Hayama on the shoulder. "See, Hayato? Ryuu already knows what you're up to."

Seeing this, Yumiko spoke up. "Hayama, if Ryuu doesn't want to join, don't push him."

Hayama sighed again but nodded. Truthfully, he believed Ryuu's presence would help their team reach the national level, but he wasn't about to ruin their friendship over it.

"Alright, I won't bring it up again," he relented. "But since there are no club activities after school, how about we all check out that new café that just opened nearby? My treat."

Ryuu smirked. "Oh? A rare display of generosity from the rich kid?"

Seeing that Ryuu didn't refuse, Yumiko silently accepted the plan as well.

As the group settled down, a loud conversation from another part of the classroom caught their attention—specifically, Aki Tomoya's group.

"Did you guys hear? Kasumi Utako, the author of Metronome in Love, is holding her first-ever autograph session at the Fushikawa Bunko Bookstore this Saturday!"

"Huh? What's Metronome in Love?"

"I dunno, never heard of it."

"It's a masterpiece! How have you not read it?! I swear, you guys are hopeless. I'm making you all read it before the signing!"

The conversation quickly spiraled into Aki Tomoya's passionate rant about light novels, much to the amusement—and mild annoyance—of others in the class.

Yumiko, glancing toward them, rolled her eyes. "Ugh, that otaku is so noisy."

"He's kind of a legend, though," Tobe laughed. "Didn't he try to get anime screenings approved for the school festival? Even argued with the dean over it?"

That revelation caught everyone's interest.

"Seriously? That's wild."

"A little insane, honestly."

"Haha, gotta respect the dedication."

While the others continued to chat, Ryuu's thoughts drifted elsewhere.

Kasumi Utako, huh…

Of course, he knew who she really was.

Kasumigaoka Utaha.

A well-known upperclassman—both a beauty and a literary genius.

And this would be her first-ever book signing?

This was a perfect opportunity to get closer to the so-called "ice-cold flower of the literary world."

A small smile played on Ryuu's lips.

This weekend just got interesting.
