Multicrossover: I Took Utaha's Virginity At The Beginning!

Chapter 9: Chapter 8: Curiosity Kills The Cat!

Ryuu looked up as the bathroom door creaked open, revealing a stunning sight.

Kasumigaoka Utaha stepped out, her black hair still damp and clinging to her skin. The warmth of the steam had left a slight flush on her normally pale cheeks, enhancing her already striking beauty. She wore a loose bathrobe that barely concealed her curves, and whether intentional or not, the front of her robe had slipped slightly open, revealing a tantalizing glimpse of smooth, porcelain skin.

She casually ran a towel through her hair, glancing at Ryuu as if this entire scene were perfectly normal.

"Do you want to take a shower, Ryuu-kun?" she asked, her tone relaxed yet teasing.

Even the way she addressed him had changed.

Ryuu blinked, momentarily caught off guard. Is Senpai really this bold?!

"Senpai, you're not planning to go home tonight?"

Utaha paused for a moment before responding at a leisurely pace. "Nope. I won't be going home tonight. There's no problem with that, is there?"

She sat down on the bed, casually crossing her legs as she continued, "I usually behave myself, but ever since I started publishing books, my parents don't interfere too much in my personal life anymore… So, you don't have to worry about the police showing up at your door, if that's what's on your mind."

"I wasn't worried about that," Ryuu replied dryly. "In that case, I guess I'll take the risk and stay with you, Senpai."

Without hesitation, he stood up and made his way to the bathroom.

A short while later, he stepped out, freshly showered, wearing a yukata provided by the hotel.

Utaha was already lying on the bed by then.

When she glanced up and saw Ryuu, her gaze lingered for just a second too long. His naturally sharp features, now slightly damp from his shower, carried an effortless charm. His physique, lightly defined from years of training, made it clear he was no ordinary high schooler.

Noticing her momentary distraction, Utaha quickly turned her gaze away. After a brief hesitation, she lifted her chin slightly and motioned toward the bed.

"Well then," she said, "let's continue our discussion about what happened earlier. Come up and explain."

Ryuu smirked at her directness but didn't hesitate. Since she had invited him, there was no reason to act reserved.

He climbed onto the bed and sat beside her.

The scent of her freshly washed hair reached him—a soft, floral fragrance that was both calming and alluring.

Unlike the tense situation on the bus earlier, this time, Ryuu could truly take in her presence without distractions.

Kasumigaoka Utaha was, without a doubt, a breathtaking beauty.

Her delicate features, her fair skin that looked impossibly smooth, her natural grace… It was no wonder she had countless admirers.

Feeling his gaze, Utaha subtly pulled the blanket tighter around herself, as if sensing that she had become the prey of a hunter.

After a moment, she shifted to the side, leaving enough space for Ryuu.

He chuckled at her cautiousness but decided to push a little further.

"Senpai, you're wrapped up so snugly in the blanket. Are you just going to let me sit here in a yukata?"

Utaha snorted. "Answer my questions first, then we'll see."

So there's still room to negotiate?

Ryuu smirked and lay back beside her.

"Senpai, sometimes knowing too much isn't a good thing," he remarked.

Utaha fell silent for a moment before replying, her voice softer than usual.

"Whether it's good or bad… I just know that my curiosity won't let me ignore it. I want to understand the kind of world I actually live in."

Hearing her honest words, Ryuu smiled.

"That's funny, considering you were scared to death just a while ago."

Utaha's cheeks flushed. Flustered, she reached out from under the blanket and shoved Ryuu lightly.

"Shut up and start talking already!"

Seeing her determination, Ryuu sighed and finally revealed the truth about the world.

---

A world unseen by ordinary people.

Curses and spirits lurking in the shadows.

Everyone possessing cursed energy to some degree, even if most remained unaware.

"The world works like this," Ryuu explained.

Hearing this, Utaha's eyes lit up with unexpected excitement.

"Wait… does that mean I could become a sorcerer too?"

Ryuu instantly crushed her hopes.

"Don't overthink it, Senpai. While some people can develop abilities later in life, your level of cursed energy is about as low as a normal person's."

Utaha clicked her tongue in disappointment. "So even this world is ruled by talent, huh?"

Ryuu nodded.

"A sorcerer's strength is about 80% determined from birth. If you don't have natural talent, you won't get far. You'd have better luck sticking to writing light novels, Senpai."

"Tch. So even supernatural abilities are this unfair," she muttered, clearly unimpressed.

Then, turning back to him, she asked, "What about you? What's your technique?"

Ryuu didn't bother hiding it anymore.

He removed his colored contact lenses, revealing his Sharingan.

The crimson glow of his eyes flickered under the dim hotel lights, the tomoe swirling lazily within them.

Utaha instinctively stiffened. The sight of those hypnotic, otherworldly eyes sent a chill down her spine.

But after a moment, she murmured, "They're… kind of pretty."

"There are even better-looking ones," Ryuu remarked. "But I need to grow stronger first."

With that, he deactivated his Sharingan.

Utaha fell into thought, recalling the strange man they had encountered earlier.

"So… you're planning to meet that creepy monk?"

Ryuu considered her words for a moment before nodding.

Now that he knew this world was filled with jujutsu, he felt a sense of urgency.

This world was far more dangerous than he had initially thought.

Shibuya… Mahito… Kenjaku… Sukuna…

Even the most powerful sorcerers had fallen to these threats. If he wanted to survive, he needed to grow stronger—fast.

Suguru Geto was undeniably dangerous, but for now, his hostility was directed at non-sorcerers. As long as Ryuu didn't become his enemy, Geto could be a valuable source of information.

More than that…

The idea of absorbing and controlling curses intrigued him. If Geto's techniques could be utilized in a way that strengthened his own abilities, it could accelerate his growth immensely.

Seeing Ryuu's nod, Utaha frowned slightly.

"That guy doesn't seem trustworthy," she muttered.

Ryuu chuckled. "He isn't. He's a complete lunatic who wants to wipe out all of humanity. You nearly died twice today because of him."

Utaha exhaled sharply. "...So the bus was his doing."

"Probably."

"Seriously?! There's an actual mass-murdering sorcerer running around?!"

Ryuu shrugged. "Well, yeah. Welcome to the real world."

Utaha clicked her tongue in frustration, then cast him a concerned look.

"And you're still planning to meet him?"

"He has knowledge I need. As long as I don't cross him, he won't treat me as an enemy."

Utaha sighed, staring up at the ceiling.

Learning that ghosts, curses, and actual psychopaths existed in the world unsettled her more than she wanted to admit.

Sensing her unease, Ryuu spoke up.

"That's why I told you—sometimes knowing too much isn't a good thing." He smirked. "But as long as you stay away from danger, you'll be fine. Curses target those who can see them first."

"...And what if I run into another situation like the bus?"

Ryuu glanced at her.

"Then I'll protect you."

Utaha rolled her eyes but didn't argue.

Instead, she silently pulled back the blanket she had been wrapped in.

"If you're cold, come in," she muttered. "Consider it a reward for answering my questions."

She didn't need a mirror to know her face was burning.

Ryuu chuckled and slid under the blanket.

It wasn't a bad reward.
