Multiverse Conquest Starting from Dragon Ball

Chapter 56: MCSDB Chapter 48 Death

'Completed!'

Golden characters flickered before Jiang Xi, momentarily stunning her as she struggled to fully grasp the information.

As she stood there, lost in thought, the golden characters suddenly shattered, and the suspended time and space returned to normal.

"Sss!"

In the corner, a small snake appeared.

Orochimaru crouched down, allowing the snake to crawl into his body.

"Sarutobi Sensei, you're really getting old," He remarked with a hint of amusement as the snake slithered inside him.

"Orochimaru Sama, has something happened?" Jiang Xi asked, her curiosity piqued.

"Nothing much. The Fourth Raikage from the Hidden Cloud Village is getting a bit impatient," Orochimaru replied, a smile playing on his lips. "Xi, it seems you won't be able to officially appear in Konoha anymore."

Jiang Xi nodded thoughtfully as Orochimaru continued to explain.

Meanwhile, outside of Konoha, chaos erupted.

That very night, Shinobi from the Hidden Cloud Village attempted to kidnap Hinata from the Hyuga Clan to obtain Byakugan, taking advantage of the ongoing peace talks between the two villages.

Hyuga Hiashi, using his Byakugan, fought back fiercely and killed the Cloud Shinobi, successfully rescuing Hinata. This incident sent shockwaves through Konoha.

Fortunately, the Anbu quickly responded and managed to quell the chaos.

However, the following day, the Hidden Cloud Village envoy openly provoked Konoha, claiming that Konoha had attacked their delegation and killed their envoys. They demanded an explanation and the surrender of the perpetrator, threatening that failure to comply would be seen as a declaration of war.

Konoha was thrown into an uproar, with many eager for a renewed conflict with the Hidden Cloud Village.

Yet, the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, sat in the Hokage Office, his brow deeply furrowed.

Konoha had just emerged from the Third Great Ninja War and the Nine-Tails disaster, leaving the village in a weakened state, with many elite Shinobi lost.

More importantly, only one of the Three Sanins remained in the village, while the other two had left.

In contrast, the Hidden Cloud Village did not suffer as severely. Although the Third Raikage had died in battle, the overall strength of the village remained relatively intact. At this moment, Konoha might not be able to contend with the Hidden Cloud Village.

With a heavy sigh, Sarutobi Hiruzen stood up, and in the next moment, his body vanished in a flash of shadow.

On the third day, Konoha chose to compromise, handing over Hyuga Hiashi's younger brother as the responsible party for the incident.

Of course, this was a secret operation, known only to a select few in Konoha, and no major disturbance was caused.

But none of this affected Jiang Xi's life. She continued her time in Orochimaru's laboratory, training and assisting with his experiments. The only difference now was that she had transitioned from being Hyuga Xi to simply Xi, becoming one of Orochimaru's subordinates.

Her background was that of an orphan Orochimaru had found in a remote area. As one of the Three Sanins, Orochimaru had no difficulty achieving this.

Though Orochimaru should have defected from Konoha over a year ago, he still remained in the village.

As for the human experiments, over a year ago, Orochimaru had handed them off and no longer involved himself in them.

Thus, there were no issues for Third Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen to uncover.

Meanwhile...

Another Login Location in a different Naruto Universe.

The incident of Hinata being kidnapped also unfolded.

Inside a spacious room, a group of Hidden Cloud Village Shinobi were conspiring.

They were part of the negotiation team for Hidden Cloud Village's talks with Konoha.

However, beneath the surface negotiations, they also had plans to probe Konoha's strengths and weaknesses.

They wanted to assess the damage Konoha had suffered during the Nine-Tails' rampage.

"We have just received orders from Raikage Sama to attempt to capture a member of the Hyuga Clan's main family."

In the dimly lit room, the leader of the Hidden Cloud Village team spoke in a low voice.

"What?!"

Upon hearing the leader's words, everyone's expression immediately changed.

To kidnap a member of the Hyuga Clan's main family within Konoha was essentially a suicide mission.

The last woman's face turned as pale as a ghost.

"From what I know, the Hyuga Clan's little princess passes through the alley every evening. We will take action there."

"Lang, Lin, you two will assist me in attracting the Hyuga Clan's attention."

"Xia, you'll be responsible for taking her."

The leader, unconcerned with the others' worries, spoke in a low voice.

"Boss, Xia is just a Genin."

One of them couldn't help but voice his concern.

"Genin is the most suitable for the job. Follow my plan; we begin tonight."

The leader waved his hand, quickly issuing the command.

"Understood!"

Though the group was nervous, they quickly responded and prepared.

As evening twilight settled, several figures in black cloaks silently approached the Hyuga Clan.

"Who goes there?"

A voice rang out, drawing the Hyuga Clan's attention.

As the Hyuga Clan's focus shifted, a cloaked figure appeared before Hyūga Hinata. A swift strike knocked Hinata unconscious.

Liǔ Qīngxiá didn't hesitate for a moment. She quickly picked up Hinata and dashed away, disappearing in a flash.

However, just as she rounded the corner…

"Stop!"

A figure appeared with a cold expression on his face.

Upon recognizing the person, Liǔ Qīngxiá's face under her mask changed immediately.

In the next moment, she felt an intense pain in her chest.

"Login character has died."

"Login session ends."

"Returning now."

"Please wait."

"Countdown!"

"Nineteen, eight, seven."

The familiar mechanical voice echoed in Liǔ Qīngxiá's mind.

As the countdown entered its final moments.

"Vroom!"

A light, visible only to Liǔ Qīngxiá, fell from the heavens, enveloping her body in an instant.

When she regained her senses, she found herself in the Dimensional Center.

Looking around at the empty, vast space of the Dimensional Center, Liǔ Qīngxiá's face turned pale instantly.

"Failed... I failed!"

Liǔ Qīngxiá muttered, her body nearly collapsing under the weight of her disappointment.

Meanwhile...

At the Academic Affairs Office.

"Another failure?"

A teacher couldn't help but sigh.

Luo Qingzhu glanced at the shadowy figure on the screen with surprise, then quickly averted her gaze.

World conquests always have successes and failures.

Even those who make it to high school are considered geniuses.

But there's no rule that geniuses must always succeed— failure is the norm.

The vast DaXia (Great Xia) Federation can sustain many conquests each year, but that's a result of large numbers, and when viewed proportionally, it's not many.

As for Liǔ Qīngxiá's mindset, these people had seen it countless times before, so there was no significant emotional reaction at this point.
