Night fell, and time moved on. Six Months quickly came to pass as their training continued. At this time, Jiang Chen once again activated the Dragon Balls. To be honest, he felt a bit embarrassed using the Dragon Ball consecutively. However, to achieve his goals, this time it was necessary.
A day later, thick clouds gathered, and seven beams of light shot up into the sky, revealing the massive figure of Shenron Porunga.
"Tell me your wish. It can be any wish within my limits so that I can fulfill it; you can use three." Shenron Porunga's voice resonated while the eyes of the Second Elder turned toward Jiang Chen.
"My first wish is to gain the ability to survive in space." Jiang Chen took a deep breath and spoke slowly. For this third use of the Dragon Balls, he had a clear goal: to overcome the Saiyans' weakness in the vacuum of space. This was crucial for his future.
The Second Elder nodded, and with the Namekian language spoken, Shenron Porunga's voice boomed.
"Granted!"
"But this wish requires elevating your Dimension level!"
A red light erupted from Shenron Porunga's eyes, engulfing Jiang Chen. He felt his body— and even his soul— had started to undergo a profound transformation.
The red light subsided making Jiang Chen feel lighter, a lightness that extended to his very being.
"Your wish has been granted. Please state your second wish." Shenron Porunga's voice echoed once more.
"Please give us a large spaceship!" Jiang Chen pondered briefly. Arriving on Namek in a small ship, and with no other options for leaving, he realized they needed a more substantial vessel. The Namekians lacked advanced technology, so this was the only solution.
"This is simple." Porunga's voice reverberated, and a massive spaceship materialized on the distant ground.
"Your second wish has been granted. Please state your third wish."
"Not needed!" Jiang Chen considered it, then shook his head and gently spoke to the Second Elder. He had no further wishes at this time. It was best to preserve this wish for the Namekians in case of an emergency.
"Good!" The Second Elder looked at Jiang Chen with surprise, then smiled and nodded. With the Namekian language spoken, the clouds dispersed, and bright light bathed the land.
"Thank you, Second Elder." Jiang Chen bowed deeply in gratitude. He felt a slight embarrassment at using the Dragon Ball three times consecutively.
"There's no need to thank us; we are honored to assist you." The Second Elder smiled in response. Afterward, Jiang Chen bade farewell to the Second Elder and returned to his nearby home.
…
In the following days, Jiang Chen continued to train Raditz. Time slipped away unnoticed. Before he knew it, a year had passed.
…
On a wide plain of Namek.
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
The sounds of powerful clashes reverberated, making energy radiate throughout the surroundings. The ground beneath them trembled from the immense force of the two figures battling in the air.
After a series of fierce exchanges, one figure was sent flying. As the dust settled, Jiang Chen emerged victorious. His aura was awe-inspiring; if a scouter were present, it would register his Battle Power at nearly 23,000 Battle Points.
In just a year, his Battle Power had increased by nearly five thousand points, making it an extraordinary achievement. At only eight years old, having a 23,000 Battle Power placed him among the most powerful Saiyans in history, second only to the legendary Super Saiyan, Broly.
"Are other Saiyans truly this terrifying?" Zuno exclaimed from a distance, having emerged from behind some rocks. He couldn't help but marvel at Jiang Chen's rapid growth, as his strength had now surpassed Zuno's own.
"Zuno, isn't the Great Elder preparing to enhance your potential?" Jiang Chen inquired. "Once enhanced, your strength will surely surpass mine."
"It's different; my potential cannot be greatly enhanced, and the Great Elder's body is frail. I don't want to cause him any further harm." Zuno shook his head, sighing softly.
Hearing Zuno's words, Jiang Chen fell silent. He understood their perspective. Other races might seek power through wishes, but Namekians were different; they valued peace and harmony with nature.
Despite the harsh environment of Namek, they preferred to rely on their own efforts rather than the Dragon Balls to improve their circumstances.
The Great Elder's health issues could be addressed in many ways, but neither he nor the Namekians would seek such solutions, as they accepted it as part of nature. This was also why Jiang Chen had refrained from using a wish to aid Namek; they didn't need it, nor was it necessary.
"Zuno, in a few days, we are preparing to leave." Taking a deep breath, Jiang Chen changed the subject.
"You are leaving?" Zuno looked puzzled.
"Yes, we've disturbed Namek for quite some time; it's time to move on." Jiang Chen smiled as he spoke.
During his year on Namek, he had focused on training and utilizing the Dragon Balls to make many wishes. Now that both objectives were complete, it was time to depart. Whether heading to Earth or Planet Yardrat, both options would greatly benefit his training. Staying on Namek would no longer provide significant advantages.
"I understand. I wish you a smooth and safe journey." Zuno nodded.
"Thank you, and thank you for your guidance during this time." Jiang Chen expressed his gratitude.
Although Zuno's energy training methods were not as effective as those from Earth or Planet Yardrat, he had laid a solid foundation for Jiang Chen. In the future, this would make his energy training much smoother, much like how Sun Wukong benefited from Son Gohan's teachings.
"No need to thank me; I was just following the Great Elder's orders," Zuno replied.
"Still, I must thank you. Without your help, I wouldn't have known how to train my energy." Jiang Chen smiled, then chatted with Zuno for a while longer before taking off toward his residence.
When Jiang Chen arrived, Gine had already packed up. All that remained was Raditz. But soon, after about a quarter of an hour, Raditz flew back from the distant sky.
