'Boom.'

A colossal spaceship shot out from the Planet Dali, leaving behind a fading trail of light. Inside, Jiang Chen made several key adjustments, completely altering the ship's appearance.

By the time it emerged again, it was an unassuming, compact vessel, and its course had shifted. Initially, while sweeping through Frieza's outposts, Jiang Chen had been heading south. Now, he veered east.

Toward the coordinates leading to Planet Yardrat.

Even if the Frieza Force scoured the cosmos for him, tracking him down would be nearly impossible.

Especially now that he had perfected the art of concealing his Ki.

In the vast reaches of the North Galaxy, a warrior with a power level of 45,000 was like a blazing beacon in the night. But a reading of one or two hundred? That was nothing more than a ripple in the endless ocean of space.

Unless the Eternal Dragon or a godly entity took an interest.

But that was highly unlikely.

Frieza had yet to learn of the Dragon Balls, and even if he had, he certainly wouldn't waste a wish on a mere "insignificant insect."

'As for the gods? They had bigger concerns.'

His figure streaked across the cosmos, rapidly closing the distance to Planet Yardrat.

Meanwhile—

Not far from Planet Deli, on another world—

Celipa and her crew stood in stunned silence, eyes fixed on the report Toma had retrieved.

"Aspara... he—"

Dodobo started to speak but faltered halfway, unable to find the words.

Jiang Chen had shown them before that his battle power exceeded thirty thousand. But to face the Ginyu Force— the elite of Frieza's army?

They had their doubts.

Yet in mere days, news spread that Jeice and Burter were dead.

Aspara had not only won but had slain two of Frieza's most formidable warriors.

Celipa swallowed hard. "We need to head to Earth. Now."

"Aspara's strength... it's beyond anything we can handle," Toma admitted bitterly.

The others nodded in silent agreement.

Jiang Chen's power had shaken them to the core.

The Ginyu Force wasn't just another squadron— they were Frieza's right hand, the enforcers of his rule across the galaxy. And Aspara had dismantled them.

They didn't even know how to process it.

As they moved to depart—

Deep in the heart of the galaxy—

Aboard a massive warship—

Seated in his hovering pod, Frieza's expression darkened.

The air inside the ship was deathly still.

Aliens of all kinds quaked where they stood, dreading the ominous silence. Though Frieza hadn't spoken, his presence alone radiated an overwhelming pressure.

"That wild Saiyan monkey... how very unexpected." His voice was ice, his usual smirk nowhere to be seen.

Frieza had been certain that deploying the Ginyu Force would resolve the issue.

Instead, that Saiyan insect had slaughtered Jeice and Burter.

This was an even greater humiliation than the deaths of Zarbon and Dodoria.

The Ginyu Force was his pride, his elite, the sword he wielded to keep the North Galaxy in check. No planet had ever stood against them and lived to tell the tale.

Now, that reputation was shattered.

Even if Captain Ginyu himself remained, the loss was a blow to Frieza's grip on the cosmos.

The comm system activated, and Ginyu's image flickered into existence.

"Captain Ginyu, it appears Jeice and Burter have fallen." Frieza's voice was eerily calm. "It seems this requires your direct attention."

"Understood, Frieza Sama!" Ginyu's response was swift and unwavering.

Frieza's tail flicked lazily. "I don't want to hear any more bad news, Captain."

"Yes, my lord!"

As the transmission ended, Ginyu wiped a sheen of sweat from his brow.

"Damn Saiyan..."

His grip tightened into fists. "Ruining my perfect formation..."

Anger surged through him as he assembled the remaining Ginyu Force members. They wasted no time, blasting off into the void.

And with their deployment, the galaxy was thrown into upheaval.

For over a decade, none had dared to defy the Frieza Force.

But now, someone had.

This lone warrior had destroyed a dozen of Frieza's bases and slaughtered two of his finest enforcers.

The impact of this situation was staggering.

Soon, Jiang Chen's name spread across the galaxy.

Among the whispers and murmurs, hope stirred.

Frieza, self-proclaimed Emperor of the Universe, had long dominated the North Galaxy, treating planets as mere pieces in his grand empire-building game. Many despised him, but none had the power to stand against him.

The Ginyu Force had crushed every last shred of resistance in the past ten years.

But now? A Saiyan had risen.

Some even dared to hope he would keep striking at Frieza's forces.

And when news broke that the Ginyu Force was on the move, the anticipation only grew.

But amid all the excitement, an entire year passed.

And the North Galaxy fell quiet once more.

Despite Frieza's relentless hunt, Jiang Chen had vanished without a trace.

His absence only fueled Frieza's growing fury.

But it was futile.

The universe was simply too vast, and even within the North Galaxy alone, there were countless worlds and endless stretches of space.

Finding Jiang Chen was like searching for a single grain of sand in an ocean.

Especially since he had erased all traces of his Saiyan nature, concealing both his power and identity.

His journey continued, weaving through the eastern regions of the North Galaxy, drawing ever closer to Planet Yardrat.

His ship was far from advanced. What should have been a year-long voyage had now stretched to two.

But Jiang Chen wasn't concerned.

The battle with Jeice and Burter had fully awakened his Saiyan instincts and his power had been climbing steadily ever since.

By the second month after leaving the Planet Dali, his battle power had reached 52,000. Three months later, 55,000.

A year had passed, and hisBattle Power now stood at 58,000— just shy of sixty thousand.

Had he been able to properly train instead of relying on his cramped personal vessel, he might have already surpassed that milestone.

"Nine more months?"

"That should be plenty of time to find a larger, more suitable vessel."

"Then let's set course for this planet!"

Jiang Chen's eyes narrowed as he studied the celestial chart, locking onto a distant world.

A year had passed.

Through careful maneuvering, Jiang Chen was now certain that Frieza's forces had lost his trail.

Under these circumstances, acquiring a better ship to hasten the remainder of his journey was essential.

"Whoosh!"

His craft shot across the starry void.

A week later.

Jiang Chen arrived at the chosen planet. But the moment he touched down, he was caught off guard.

For he was greeted with startling news.

"Have you heard?"

"Heard what?"

"Heh, you really don't know, do you?"

"Well, spit it out. What's going on?"

"You know of Frieza, right?"

"Of course— Frieza, the so-called Emperor of the Universe. This isn't about that Saiyan warrior who killed members of the Ginyu Force, is it?"

"Tch, that's old news! Happened a year ago. I'm talking about something even bigger."

"Bigger? What could be bigger than that?"

"There's a new ruler in the North Galaxy now— someone who calls himself the Great King of Destruction."

"Wait, what? A Great King of Destruction? Are you serious?"

"As serious as a planet on the verge of explosion."

"A Great King of Destruction and the so-called Emperor of the Universe? This just got interesting."

"You bet!"

Eavesdropping on their conversation, Jiang Chen's expression became unreadable.

"Great King of Destruction..."
