Multiverse: In DanMachi, I'm the Strongest Summoner

Chapter 168: Chapter 168 - Transporting Monsters

Riveria let out a soft sigh.

She wasn't in a rush for answers.

For her, turning the unknown into the known was a noble pursuit.

"Alright, it's getting late."

"How about we wrap up for today?"

Raven checked his watch—it was already afternoon.

He had no desire to spend the entire day holed up in the Dungeon.

Unless it was a special circumstance, like his Familia's expedition.

"Are we… coming again tomorrow?" Ais asked, a flicker of anticipation in her eyes.

During their earlier match,

She'd noticed Raven still had many weaknesses in his combat technique.

She wanted to teach him more—

But beyond that,

Ais was eager to extract more experience points from him.

Lefiya then spoke up:

"I-I want to come too."

"Mr. Raven, Miss Ais, is that okay?"

Seeing her pleading eyes, Raven hesitated.

"...Uh. Sure."

"But it'll probably be tomorrow evening. I'll be training my own party during the day."

Compared to others, his own Familia members couldn't be left behind.

To be honest,

Raven had hoped for one-on-one training with Ais.

But if Lefiya wanted to tag along, it wasn't a big deal.

As long as Riveria wasn't there, he could do as he pleased with the two.

"Let's go. I'm going to use teleportation magic."

He stowed the Thousand Feather Sword.

Then his clear voice recited another magic chant.

—Dungeon, 1st Floor.

C-9 Chamber.

A white magic circle appeared from thin air, and the four of them instantly materialized.

"I hope you two won't leak anything about my two rare spatial spells."

"Don't worry, Mr. Raven. I'll keep it secret," Lefiya promised.

Riveria gently closed one eye, gazing at him intently with the other.

Raven scratched his cheek awkwardly.

"Well then… shall we part ways here?"

"Let's go together," Riveria said with a slight smile.

They walked down the first floor's vast corridor known as the Departure Passage.

Ahead lay the great hole that led to the surface.

It was a massive cylinder, about 10 meters in height and diameter.

After passing the final spiral step, a crisp artificial chill greeted them.

This was the first basement level of Babel Tower, built directly above the Dungeon.

A huge circular hall spread out around the hole.

It could easily hold thousands of adventurers.

Raven scanned the area.

Near the hole, several massive cargo boxes were placed.

Their bases had wheels—these were transport crates for expeditions.

Usually,

Familias used these boxes to store food, backup gear, or to collect drop items and magic stones.

During the Ishtar Familia's expedition, Haruhime had been hidden inside one of these boxes—

To avoid exposing her rare level-boosting magic.

At that moment—

Members of the Ganesha Familia were hauling a new cargo box up from the stairwell.

"Eina? Misha?"

From the corner of his vision,

Raven spotted two girls—one with brown mid-length hair, the other pink.

Eina's refined features were unusually serious.

She held documents in one hand, speaking with Misha in hushed tones.

Lefiya, walking beside them, glanced at the crates and suddenly remembered something:

"The Monster Festival is the day after tomorrow!"

"Miss Ais, Mr. Raven—can we go see it together?"

Monster Festival?

Raven thought back to the original plot.

So—

Freyja and Dionysus were about to make their moves?

Good…

If those two gods were releasing monsters,

Why not release Little Zasha and join the fun?

Worth mentioning—

Monsters summoned through Summoning Magic could grant massive EXP and heroic deeds to those who defeated them.

Of course—

Raven himself couldn't exploit that trick to level up.

But Ais, Riveria, Amid… others could.

As long as—

they could defeat the creature.

Even if they couldn't defeat Little Zasha at Level 9,

Just repelling her would count as a great feat.

"Uh… I'll give you an answer tomorrow night. Let me see if I have time."

Raven smiled wryly.

"And you, Miss Ais?"

Lefiya turned her hopeful gaze to the swordswoman.

"I… think I can," Ais replied softly.

Lefiya lit up with joy:

"That's great!"

"Miss Ais, let's go shopping tomorrow!"

From the corner of his eye, Raven noticed the silent green-haired elf.

Riveria caught his glance immediately.

"I don't have any spare time. I need to prepare for the next expedition."

"I'll add your name to the expedition list."

"Alright," Raven nodded.

When the time came, he'd just tag along with the Loki Familia as a bystander.
