Chapter 94: The Beginning of The End V
The Beginning of The End V
"Domain: Eternal Genesis." Christopher mumbled.
A low, resonant hum echoed through the battlefield and grew louder and louder until it drowned out all other sound on the battlefield. The Void paused slightly, instantly sensing the shift that was occurring in reality.
Below them, the evaporated ocean was starting to fill back in with the surrounding water, but then this water started to churn violently, waves rising in jagged, unnatural shades before freezing mid motion. But not from cold. More like, time had stopped.
All of a sudden, the sky split apart and a multicoloured beam of light erupted outwards, forming a massive dome that encompassed the vast area. At its very peak, runes started to manifest into existence. Each one embodying The elements and laws of Reality, including Fate and Annihilation. They pulsed and their energy expanded until it covered the entire place.
The Void wasn't idle, and immediately unleashed a vast wave of Void energy to disrupt the process. But shockingly, the Void energy was completely overpowered and dispersed, the runes cancelling it with ease.
Then It happened.
Reality itself fractured and broke down, but what was revealed wasn't the vast empty Void, instead, it was replaced by an entirely new place. The ocean is replaced by a shimmering, crystalline sea refracted the light into beautiful colours. On the edges, mountains were constructed from nothing only to crumble into nothing, and the cycle repeated endlessly.
Christopher lowered Scarlet and the runes in the sky shattered into tiny spots of energy that rain down like stardust. The particles fused with the air, water, land, and Christopher himself. Amplifying his already exaggerated strength.
The Void kept on trying to unleash its energy, but to no avail as invisible 'walls' of the domain pressed down on it and prevented it from properly expressing its power.
Christopher raises his free hand and the domain responds to his command. Pillars of Transcendent Hellfire erupt from the crystalline sea while tiny ice needles start to materialise in the air everywhere around the Void and start to move with incredible speed as they are aided by the powerful wind. Purple lightning crackles dangerously in the sky and rivers of Annihilation energy appear and morph into gargantuan serpents that lunge at the Void.
Space twists and folds chaotically and time flows forward, backwards, and stops all at the same time.
"This is my realm now." Christopher declares without total certainty.
The truth is that he never actually had a domain before now as he wanted his domain to embody everything he could use. And since he pretty much embodied Creation, he wanted his domain to reflect that. And this was the first time he was manifesting it.
If he had tried to use his Mana alone, he wouldn't have been able to keep the domain active for longer than a few minutes, but with the help of his Dimension, well…
All the attacks descended on the Void and resulted in a catastrophic explosion which, if not for the Domain, would have removed a massive chunk of the world.
The Void was shredded, burnt, crushed, electrocuted, frozen, stabbed, and so on.
Christopher decided that he wouldn't waste anymore time and was going to completely and utterly Crush the Void here and now.
'What cards? What special tricks? What experience? None of that will matter if I just completely and utterly crush you.' He thought. Though he was just him thinking. The truth was that he was tense and completely prepared for a counter-attack.
And good thing he was.
The Void was about as hard to kill as a cockroach. And unsurprisingly, it had a domain of its own.
At some point, a spot of inky black darkness appeared. And this spot rapidly grew.
Many of the attacks Christopher was unleashing were devoured and evaporated when they entered this spot, and it kept growing.
Christopher felt his authority over his Domain start to waver and he frowned behind his mask. He'd been expecting it, but that didn't mean he was happy about it.
Soon, half of his Domain had been replaced with the inky blackness that was simply nothing. When Christopher stared into it, he didn't feel or see anything. And that concerned him greatly.
A moment later, the domain was divided into two halves. One side was a beautiful and wonderful reality. While the other side was… nothing.
"You are… not bad."The Void spoke, then pointed forward.
Then, tendrils that weren't really tendrils but massive pillars of encroaching darkness began to seep into Christopher's side to take it over.
Christopher snorted and with a thought, immense waves of Mana erupted and began to push the darkness back and attempted to overthrow it.
Both sides battled for supremacy, yet none of them seemed to gain any ground on each other.
'This is starting to get irritating.' Christopher thought and surged forward to meet the Void.
They both collided again. Both now being aided by their domains, catastrophic impacts ringing out within the domains as Christopher and the Void collided again and again.
They moved faster, sharper, neither side willing to let up in the slightest as they fought with everything they had.
Christopher and the Void dropped all pretenses and started using every move they had in their arsenals, determined to end the battle once and for all.
Due to the strange time within the Dimension, both of them fought for a long time. Days in fact. When in reality, only hours had gone by outside and it was still night time.
As a result, both sides also began to receive injuries, some worse than others, but their regeneration kept them going, the fight showing no signs of slowing down or stopping.
Christopher failed to evade a World Slash completely and and his hand that was holding Scarlet for severed, but his eyes blazed behind his mask that was cracked in multiple areas.

Using the opening granted by taking the attack, he closed in, clenched his free hand and punched the Void straight in its core.
Light fused with Lightning to create white and blue electricity that exploded outwards from the point of impact. The force throwing the Void back and shredding the oatt that got hit.
However it healed just as quickly, the same way Christopher's arm also healed and grasped Scarlet once more.
The Void swung the Legend Sword and Christopher swung Scarlet. And the result was another catastrophic clash.
'Huu~' Christopher exhaled and countered a barrage of attacks.
The Mental fatigue was starting to pile up.
Fighting for so long in such a heightened state of concentration as well as maintaining his domain, not to mention that he was fighting the Void who was extremely unpredictable was incredibly taxing on his mind.
He had to continuously make all sorts of calculations to, predict the unpredictable, make adjustments, and so on.
Even with his incredibly powerful mind, such a thing was starting to take its toll on him. He could still hold out for a while, but as things were, he'd be the first one to make a mistake.
He knew it, the Void knew it as well.
But he was still calm.
'It's about time I ended this.' He thought.
The truth was, Christopher hadn't used ALL his cards. In fact, one thing he had for a while now that he hadn't touched was the Dimensional Assault which, since he got it, hadn't been utilised a single time. The reason being that he had no opportunity to use it since he was able to dispatch his opponents with relative ease so far.
But now he had met the Void.
And So now it was time to use it.
They fought some more, and at some point, Christopher managed to get close. So he clenched his fist and threw a punch and shrunk his dimension And put it inside right before the punch collided.
After the last upgrade, his dimension was truly massive, about the size of a small moon. But that wasn't all.
When the Dimension was upgraded, every aspect of it was upgraded as well, and that included the density and weight of the ground.
Christopher had upgraded his dimension 4 times, and each time it got 10,000 heavier. Meaning it had a weight of 10,000⁴. Which translated to 1.00000000E+16, or 10 Quadrillion.
And the Dimension was the size of a small moon, meaning it weighed approximately 7.34×10³⁸. Or a number with 38 zeros behind it. Which was pretty difficult to visualise.
But to put into context, a Stellar mass Black Hole which is a black hole about 10 times denser than the Sun would weigh about 2×10³¹ Kilograms. Meaning Christopher's Dimension was roughly 10,000 times denser than a Stellar Mass Black Hole.
In other words, it was pretty Damn Heavy!
And all that weight was currently within his fist.
Also, the way Christopher implemented this was quite cunning. He could control the weight of the Dimension so that it wouldn't affect him, but the Void would have been able to sense its immense presence in his fist due to its sensitivity to creation.
So Christopher waited until his fist had collided with it, but not all the force had been transmitted, before he summoned the Dimension into his fist.
The instant his fist fully outstretched, all that weight came barreling forward. Weight so immense that the Void had no time to react. And as such, a vast majority of its body was instantly obliterated, And its Domain shattered.
All that remained was its core which within it was the rift that had been feeding it energy. And even now it was rapidly regenerating. But Christopher wasn't done.
The Impact just now had utterly eviscerated his free hand, but it still healed faster than the Void's body, and he held Scarlet in a two handed grip.
'Let's end this.'
