My 5th Reincarnation: I Was Born in Another World as a Demon - TWOB 4

Chapter 6: Meeting The God AVISH

Mistpine's school courtyard buzzed with the usual chaos of spiritually enhanced children showing off their purchased skills. Raegan was trying to enjoy his synthetic lunch when he heard the commotion.

He found Luna cornered behind the holographic lunch menu by three noble human boys from the A class. Her silver fur was matted with dirt, and though her claws were extended, she wasn't fighting back. Raegan's demon core pulsed with familiar anger—he had seen this kind of cruelty in every one of his lives.

"Look at the weak wolf girl!" the largest boy taunted, knocking over her lunch plate. "Can't even use basic mana. What kind of beast-person are you?"

"Wolves are supposed to be strong," another boy sneered. "But you can barely light a mana lamp. My little sister has more mana than you!"

Luna's ears were flattened against her head, her golden eyes brimming with tears. "Leave me alone. Please."

"Three against one," Raegan said, stepping into view. His white hair caught the sunlight, red eyes gleaming. "Hardly seems fair."

The boys turned, their expressions shifting from cruel amusement to uncertainty. Everyone in the school had heard rumors about Dr. Chen's strange son with demon-like features.

"This doesn't concern you," the leader Axel said, but Raegan could smell his fear.

"Luna is my friend," Raegan said quietly, letting just a hint of his demon mana leak out. The air grew heavy, and the lunchroom shadows seemed to deepen. "And in my experience, those who mock others for being weak are often the weakest themselves."

"Look at this E-class peasant!" young Axel sneered, his premium battle claws glowing with expensive particle effects. "Can't even afford basic fireball skills."

'Great,' Raegan thought, 'Bullies with daddy's jewel card.'

'Kid, I was fighting epic battles when your ancestors were still figuring out how to open holoscreen tabs.'

"Initialize Combat Skills!" Axel shouted, his expensive battle aura flaring up around his hands.

Raegan closed his eyes, trying to channel chakra. "I can't use mana, it might expose my overpowered mana stream. I'm going to try my chakras. Please make it work."

Raegan's AI band glowed red with warnings.

[WARNING: Ancient combat protocols detected]

[ERROR: Chakra.exe has encountered unexpected spirit energy]

[CRITICAL SYSTEM FAILURE]

Suddenly, reality glitched. The courtyard dissolved, and Raegan found himself in what looked like a divine tech startup office.

"Yo!" A blue-skinned figure in designer shades and a sleek business suit looked up from a holographic workstation. A damru floated nearby, "Who let an ancient program into my system?"

"Lord Avish, I presume?" Raegan bowed. "You look... different from my dimension, my lord."

"Nandi! We've got an interdimensional bug!" Avish called out.

A stunning cow in a human figure in a chef's outfit appeared, rolling his eyes. "You break reality more often than you update your divine OS."

"I do not!" Avish protested, his damru automatically playing sad trombone effects.

"Last week you tried to install a cosmic app by a human without reading the terms and conditions," Nandi reminded him while materializing a plate of divine laddoos. "Here, kid. Interdimensional travel makes you hungry."

"So," Avish spun in his celestial gaming chair, "you're running some serious legacy software, kid. Werewolf spirit? And chakras? That's like, several universal patches ago. In this world, mana is the energy source every being is born with. It's the opposite frequency of what you tried using. Your body would explode if you use chakra and mana together."

Raegan's eyes widened. "Explode? That's... not ideal."

Avish nodded. "Indeed. But don't worry, we can fix this. Nandi, prepare the compatibility patch."

Nandi sighed, handing Raegan a divine laddoo. "Eat this. It'll help stabilize your energy while we work on the patch."

Raegan took a bite, the sweet flavor filling him with a sense of calm. "I didn't have mana in my world, I'm not familiar on how to use it."

Avish grinned. "Kid, every realm has mana, your realm uses mana subconsciously, you have never experienced it within you, you need to leave the shell of chakra within your body and look at the spirit energy around you."

Nandi sighs as she explains, "Since you are a devotee of Lord Shiva from your world, you have only learned the energy system of Chakra that is the energy within your own body to channel, however, mana is an energy source around you in the air, tree, animals, demons and space, In your world it's called Prana, Chaitanya, Vayu, Ojas, Tejas, Shakti, All of these in one word in this realm is called Mana, Do you understand now?".

As Raegan was shocked at the revelation, I never thought about how the trees and the nature around me used chakras, I see now that I have been lacking in knowledge, I now know why I was transported to this world, he couldn't help but marvel at the absurdity of his situation. From battling Yetis and Sabre-tooth tigers to dealing with divine tech support, his life had certainly taken some unexpected turns.

"Can you help?" Raegan asked between chewing laddoos.

"Help? I'm God Avish! I can—"

"Break it worse," Nandi interrupted, serving Avish some cosmic coffee. "Remember the last upgrade you tried?"

"The dinosaurs were supposed to go extinct! How was I supposed to know they'd download spiritual mana awakening instead? And if that wouldn't have happened, the humanoids would have got too comfotable with machines and Ai would have taken over, the Demons keep them alive."

"Because you didn't read the patch errors. Again."

Raegan watched the divine domestic comedy unfold while enjoying the best laddoos in any dimension. The sweet treat melted in his mouth, filling him with a sense of calm despite the surreal situation.

"Okay, here's the deal," Lord Avish finally said, adjusting his shades. "I can't uninstall your werewolf spirit—myself from the other realm might have installed it in you—it's too deeply integrated. But I can update it to be compatible with our dimension's spiritual framework." He then looked at Nandi with confusion. "Nandi, how is this child a demon?"

Nandi tapped in the air and opened a holographic screen. "It seems he is born half demon and half human to the seeker, Demon King Vin, and an SS class adventurer, Chen."

Lord Avish turned to Raegan with a curious expression. "Interesting. Transported to a different realm with a Seeker Werewolf Spirit, born as a Demon Humanoid to an SS class Adventurer and Seeker Vin, the Demon King. You have a very complicated fate, child."

Raegan fell to his knees, bowing his head to the ground. "Lord Avish, I know you are a version of my god, Lord Shiva. I have spent centuries of my life devoted to you. My only wish is to meet my beloved and have a happy life as you wished for me in my original world. Can you please send me back to my world?"

Lord Avish smiled gently, his massive figure sizing down to a human. Raegan stood back on his feet, remembering the first time Lord Shiva acknowledged him after decades of his continuous Tandav. Lord Avish placed his hand on Raegan's shoulder. "You have a purpose in this life, young Raegan. You were born to this world by Rudra Vyuh for a reason, you will serve as a balance to this world. Your way back to your world is in Rudra Vyuh. Find your father in this world, the Demon King Vin. He is the seeker who will guide you back to your world."

Raegan's eyes flowed with tears, but he had a satisfied smile as he looked up at Lord Avish's face. "I remember Lord Shiva holding my shoulder exactly like this in my world. This feeling of cosmic energy by just your touch is magnificent, my lord. I shall live this life to fulfill my purpose. I will journey to Rudra Vyuh when I feel that my purpose in this world is fulfilled."

Lord Avish smiled at Raegan as he glitched and swooshed back to his giant form on what looked like a cosmic gaming chair. "Raegan or Raghavendra, I know everything, I see everything. In every dimension, I know what you need and what you desire. I shall give you a unique spirit that will guide you in this world, a demon soul with consciousness that shows your progress and guides you through your path." A system screen chimed next to Raegan's head as a rectangular blue aura floated in the air.

Lord Avish ordered Raegan with an amused expression, "Name your soulmate, Raghavendra. Bond with your demon spirit system."

Raegan responded without even a second of hesitation, "I shall call it Vivaan, seeing how full of life it looks with intelligence."

Lord Avish's laugh echoed in the void space around them. "Very well, child. I shall integrate the soul within your spirit. Only you can see and hear it. I look forward to your adventures. I will be watching you."

Vivaan chimed an alert in blue:

[System Upgrade Available:

Werewolf 1.0 → Neo-Spirit Beast 10.1

Warning: Side effects may include:

- Temporary reality glitches

- Spontaneous howling]

Raegan felt a surge of energy as the system integrated with his spirit. He looked up at Lord Avish, gratitude and determination shining in his eyes. "Thank you, my lord. I will not disappoint you."

Lord Avish nodded, his form flickering, "Remember, Raegan, your journey is just beginning. Embrace your fate and fulfill your purpose. I will be watching over your adventures, entertain me well."

As the divine system office faded and Raegan found himself back in the school courtyard, he felt a renewed sense of purpose. With Vivaan by his side, the bullies hadn't moved—no time had passed.

[Vivaan - System Update Complete:

Neo-Wolf Spirit activated

Ancient combat protocols optimized with Chakra imbued with Mana]

Raegan smiled at the confused nobles. "Now, where were we?"

"Initialize Combat Skills!" Axel shouted again, premium particles floating around his arms.

Raegan cracked his neck. "You know what's funny? In my dimension, we had to dance with gods for decades to get powers. You just used daddy's platinum jewel card."

 "What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means," Raegan smiled as his newly upgraded werewolf spirit manifested—sleek, modern, but still definitely old-school powerful—"some things you can't buy from the divine system store."

[Combat Style: Ancient Chakra Warrior Style]

[Special Effect: Nandi's Ladoo Power-Up Active]

The noble kids launched their premium attacks—all flash, no substance. Raegan moved like water between them, his ancient combat experience flowing through updated spiritual channels.

"Impossible!" Axel cried as his expensive battle aura fizzled. "My skills cost more than your house!"

"Yeah?" Raegan caught a punch while casually checking his status window. "Well, my skills cost four lifetimes of getting killed by the same guy. Top that."

In three moves, all three nobles were on the ground, their premium battle gear glitching pathetically.

"Anyone else want to make fun of E-class?" Raegan asked, his grin widening with confidence.

Noble Pride: Substantially damaged]

The boys backed away, trying to maintain their dignity. "Whatever. The wolf girl's not worth our time anyway." They hurried off, shooting nervous glances over their shoulders.

Luna wiped her eyes, her tail drooping. "You didn't have to do that, Raegan. I'm used to it."

"That's exactly why I had to," Raegan said, extending his hand to help. "No one should get used to being treated that way."

"It's true though," Luna whispered. "I can barely channel mana. Most wolf-beasts are naturally strong, but I..." her voice cracked. "I'm defective."

Raegan felt something stir in his ancient warrior's heart. In his past lives, he had trained countless soldiers and taught them to find their strength. But Luna's pain was different—it reminded him of his own struggles, being different in every life.

"Luna," he said gently, "do you know why the moon is powerful?"

She looked up, confused by the sudden question. "What?"

"The moon doesn't create light like the sun. It reflects it, channels it, transforms it. Sometimes it's full and bright, sometimes it's just a sliver, but it's never weak." He helped her to her feet. "Maybe you're not meant to use mana like others do. Maybe you have your own way."

"But how?" Luna asked, but there was a spark of hope in her eyes now.

 Raegan's system pinged:

[Vivaan - New Quest Available: Luna's Path

- Objective: Help Luna discover her unique strength

- Note: Teaching opportunity detected

- Warning: Maintain chakra knowledge secrecy]

Raegan smiled at the notification. "We'll figure it out together. You have a strength that's unique to you, Luna. We just need to find it."

Luna's tail gave a tentative wag. "You'd really help me? Even though I might never be strong?"

Raegan smiled, remembering all his past lives, all the different kinds of strength he'd encountered. "Luna, I think you might be stronger than anyone knows. You just need someone who can see it."

As they walked home together, Raegan's demon core hummed with purpose. In his quest to return to his original world and face Sasht, he had found something unexpected—a friend who, like him, knew what it meant to be different. And perhaps in helping her find her strength, he would discover new kinds of power himself.

Luna glanced at him shyly. "Raegan? Thank you. Not just for helping, but for seeing me."

"In my past life," Raegan thought, "I was a prince who commanded armies. But somehow, this quiet moment with a wolf beast girl who refuses to give up feels just as important as any battle I've ever fought."

The system's final notification seemed to agree:

[Friendship Bond Established]

- Trust Level: Deepening

- Potential: Unknown but Significant

- Note: Some battles are won with kindness, not power]

Raegan chuckled at the notification. "We're in this together, Luna."

Luna's eyes sparkled with a mix of gratitude and determination. "I won't let you down, Raegan. I'll find my strength, whatever it is."

Raegan placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "I know you will. And I'll be right here, every step of the way."

As they continued walking, the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over Mistpine Village. The two friends shared stories and laughter, the bond between them growing stronger with each passing moment.

When they reached Luna's home, she turned to Raegan with a shy smile. "Goodnight, Raegan. See you tomorrow?"

 Raegan nodded. "Goodnight, Luna."
