Chapter 6: 6
Mr. Thompson suddenly dropped a stack of paper work on my table as I was getting ready to pack up, "so you think just because the CEO favors you, you can do anything you want and tell on me?!" He exclaimed.
"What are you talking about sir?" I asked confused, "don't sir me, you know what I'm talking about." He added.
"I honestly don't know what you're talking about." I replied.
Before he even got to reply he got interrupted by Daniel, "are you ready to go Anthony?" He asked.
"I'm almost ready sir." I replied grabbing my stuff. Daniel walked up to us and patted Mr. Thompson on the back, "this isn't how you should treat your intern's Thompson."
"Get that work done before your boss fires you." He smiled at him.
"Come on, we wouldn't want to be late to our plans." He added as he grabbed my wrist walking out of the office. I could feel everyone's eyes on me and the second we walked out the office bursted out into whispers.
As Daniel pulled me down the hallway, I couldn't help but glance back, catching a glimpse of Mr. Thompson's fuming expression. My heart pounded, the weight of the entire office's eyes and whispers sinking in. I knew this would only fuel the rumors, but Daniel seemed oblivious, casually leading me out of the building.
Once we were outside, Daniel let go of my wrist, flashing me a grin. "You've got to stand up for yourself more, Anthony. Don't let people like Thompson push you around."
"Yes sir." I agreed not trying to drag on the conversation, he looked at me softly making all the nervous feelings fade away. "You are such a kind soul." He said brushing my hair out my face.
"If I could protect you from this world I would." He added pulling me into a tight embrace. I couldn't help but also melt into the hug, I can't even remember the last time someone hugged me like this.
For a moment, I let myself relax in his arms, feeling the tension from the day melt away. Daniel's hold was firm but gentle, his hand soothingly running over my back. It was strange, standing outside the office like this, wrapped in an embrace that felt both comforting and slightly overwhelming.
After a few seconds, he pulled back, his hands resting on my shoulders. "Let's hurry up to the car, I'm sure Elliot is fuming right now." He giggled as we walked to the car.
We walked to the car, Daniel still chuckling as he led the way. Sure enough, as we reached the car, Mr. Carter was sitting in the driver's seat, tapping his fingers impatiently on the steering wheel. The second he saw us, he rolled his eyes, but there was a faint smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
"Took you long enough," he said, his voice laced with mock annoyance. "Thought you might've gotten lost."
Daniel slid into the passenger seat, unbothered. "Relax, Elliot, we're here now." He turned to me, patting the seat beside him. "Hop in, Anthony."
I settled in the backseat, feeling a bit self-conscious under Mr. Carter's gaze as he glanced at me through the rearview mirror. "Next time, don't keep us waiting," he said, though his tone wasn't as harsh as I expected. In fact, there was a hint of warmth in it, as if he were trying to mask his concern.
The car eased onto the road, and a comfortable silence filled the space. After a few minutes, Daniel glanced back at me. "Have you ever been on a big shopping spree?" He asked.
I shook my head no, "well you're about to, anything you want we will buy it for you." He replied, "is this why you told me to leave work early?" I questioned.
"Yes, this is our thank you for saying yes to accompanying us to the dinner party Friday." Mr. Chimed in.
"This is really unnecessary, I have clothes to wear." I told them. "Just be quiet and let us treat you." Mr. Carter said.
...
I slipped into the first suit Daniel had picked out—a deep navy with a subtle sheen to it. The fabric felt smooth against my skin, the fit surprisingly perfect. As I adjusted the jacket in the mirror, I barely recognized myself. It was strange to see myself like this, polished and put-together, as if I belonged somewhere prestigious.
"Are you done yet?" Daniel's voice called from outside, impatient as ever.
"Almost," I replied, stepping out of the dressing room. Both he and Mr. Carter turned to look at me, and for a second, they were both silent, just taking me in.
Daniel let out a low whistle. "Look at you! You're a completely different person," he said, grinning.
Mr. Carter's expression was a little harder to read. He nodded approvingly, his gaze steady. "It suits you," he said simply, but the faint smile tugging at his lips told me he was pleased.
I looked down, feeling a little shy under their attention. "Thank you, both of you. Really."
Daniel threw an arm around my shoulders, his grin widening. "Don't get all modest on us now. We're just getting started."
Mr. Carter gestured toward the racks. "We're getting more than just one outfit. Choose a few others as well, whatever you like. Consider it an investment for future events."
As we continued shopping, trying on different outfits and getting caught up in Daniel's enthusiasm, I began to relax, letting myself enjoy the moment. It felt good to be treated like this, even if it was still a bit overwhelming. And for the first time in a while, I felt like I was part of something… something that mattered.
As I was trying on about the 100th outfit on I got stuck with a problem, the zipper wasn't going up, "please zip up." I muttered to myself struggling to zip it up.
"Are you done?" Mr. Carter asked.
"Almost!" I replied. As I struggled to zip the zipper Mr. Carter and Daniel suddenly walked into the dressing room. "What's going on here?" Mr. Carter asked.
I looked up at them and down at my zipper, "it's not going up." I replied trying to keep my voice low. "Why didn't you call us earlier," Daniel questioned as he walked behind me.
He slowly slid his arms around my waist and down to my zipper, Mr. Carter also suddenly got closer his hands on my hips slightly lifting up my pants. "Look up so we can help you." Mr. Carter said. Nervously I lifted my head trying to avoid Mr. Carter's stare, the whole situation is overwhelming. Here I am again between my boss and his friend, 'why do I always find myself in the middle of them' I wondered.
Daniel's hands gently tugged the zipper up, his fingers brushing my back, while Mr. Carter adjusted the fabric around my waist, making sure everything fit just right. Being so close to both of them made my heart race, and I did my best to keep my breathing steady.
"There we go," Daniel said softly, his voice right by my ear as he finished with the zipper. "You smell good." He said as he sniffed my neck, "you smell like fresh vanilla." He whispered causing chills down my spine. Suddenly Mr. Carter also wanted to smell so he leaned on the right side of my neck and started sniffing.
With both their warm breath brushing on my skin I felt uneasy but yet comfortable, "I just want to bite you." Daniel said.
Suddenly they both started kissing my neck, they gently bit and gently kissed me. Surprised I just stood there shocked. Their hands gently roamed my body causing me to ease up but also making me aware of what's happening.
I stood frozen, caught in the unexpected whirlwind of attention from Daniel and Mr. Carter. My heart raced, pounding loudly in my ears as their warm breath brushed against my skin. This wasn't how I imagined a simple shopping trip would go. I tried to gather my thoughts, but the sensation of their closeness overwhelmed me.
"Come on, Anthony," Daniel whispered, pulling back slightly to look into my eyes. His gaze was playful, yet there was a hint of seriousness behind it. "You can't be that shy. We're just trying to help."
"Yeah," Mr. Carter chimed in, his voice teasing. "We wouldn't want you to get stuck in that outfit forever, would we?" He smirked, the corner of his mouth twitching up as he stepped closer again, his hands still resting lightly on my hips.
"Just admit it," Daniel added with a mischievous glint in his eye, "you love the attention. It's not every day you get two guys to help you zip up your pants."
I swallowed hard, trying to regain my composure. "I—uh, I mean… it's just…" My words stumbled out, flustered and half-hearted. The teasing was relentless, and I could feel the heat rising in my cheeks.
"Admit it," Mr. Carter leaned in, his voice low and smooth, "you enjoy being the center of our attention."
I bit my lip, torn between embarrassment and the thrill of their teasing. "Maybe a little," I finally confessed, the confession slipping out before I could stop it.
Daniel chuckled, the sound warm and inviting. "See? We knew it." His fingers danced along my back, tracing patterns that made it hard for me to focus. "And you smell good, too. I mean, fresh vanilla? It's like you were asking for us to get closer."
With a playful roll of my eyes, I tried to deflect the heat of the moment. "You guys are impossible," I muttered, though the smile tugging at my lips betrayed my annoyance.
"Impossible to resist," Mr. Carter corrected, his voice filled with mock sincerity as he moved closer, almost brushing his body against mine. "You don't mind, do you?"
I shook my head, my throat dry. "I don't—" I started, but the words faded when Daniel leaned in, his lips barely grazing my neck again.
"Ah, please stop," I managed to whisper, but the tone of my voice lacked the authority I intended.
"Stop?" Daniel echoed, pretending to consider it, his lips lingering against my skin. "But you smell so good."
Mr. Carter smirked, clearly enjoying the game. "Besides, we can't let you leave without making sure you look perfect in that outfit." He tugged gently on the fabric, as if adjusting it, but his fingers lingered just a moment too long, sending shivers down my spine.
"Yeah, Anthony," Daniel said, his voice dropping to a husky whisper, "you wouldn't want to go out looking anything less than perfect, would you?"
The combination of their teasing words and playful touches left me feeling dizzy. "I guess not…" I trailed off, unsure how to respond, my body betraying me with a rush of warmth and excitement.
Suddenly, they both leaned in, their kisses soft yet electrifying against my neck. The sensation made me gasp, caught between shock and an undeniable thrill. I could feel their hands roaming, their playful banter filling the small dressing room, creating an atmosphere that was both teasing and intimate.
"What's the matter, Anthony?" Daniel asked, pulling back to meet my gaze. "You look like you're enjoying this."
"I—" I stammered, searching for the right words, but their playful smiles and teasing glances made it hard to think straight.
"Just admit it," Mr. Carter chimed in again, his voice light. "You love this. You're having fun."
And somehow, despite the uncertainty and the overwhelming sensation of being trapped between them, I found myself nodding, caught in the moment. "Maybe I do," I finally admitted, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Good," Daniel grinned, "because we're not done yet."
As they continued their gentle teasing, I realized that maybe, just maybe, I was exactly where I wanted to be.

That evening after all the shopping, we went to some fancy restaurant and after that they dropped me off home.
"Do you need help with the bags." Mr. Carter asked, I slightly smiled and shook my head.
"Before you go, come here." Daniel said gesturing for me to get closer, obediently I got closer and suddenly he cupped my face with one hand and kissed me. The kiss caught me off guard, but this was nothing compared to what they did to me in the dressing room.
"Have a good night." He smiled pulling away. "Are you going to forget me?" Mr. Carter asked.
I stood there, a mix of surprise and warmth flooding through me after Daniel's kiss. My heart raced as I took a moment to process what had just happened. "Uh, no," I stammered, still a bit dazed. "I won't forget you."
Mr. Carter grinned as he grabbed my chin and pulled me in for kiss. The kiss from Mr. Carter took me by surprise again, but this time I found myself melting into it. His lips were warm and inviting, contrasting the playful energy Daniel had just shared with me. I felt a rush of excitement as his hand cradled my chin, drawing me closer.
When he pulled away, I was breathless, trying to steady myself. "We'll see you tomorrow." Mr. Carter smiled patting my head and heading back in the car. "Take care." Daniel smiled waving at me as he entered the car.
I stood there, heart still racing, watching as they climbed into the car. The night had taken an unexpected turn, and I was left breathless in the glow of their attention. Their teasing and warmth had lit something inside me, leaving me both exhilarated and confused.
"Take care," I echoed, still feeling the warmth of Mr. Carter's kiss lingering on my lips. As the car pulled away, I couldn't help but wave until they turned the corner and disappeared from view.
Once inside, I closed the door and leaned against it, trying to calm the fluttering in my chest. The evening played back in my mind like a montage: the laughter at dinner, the way Daniel had held me close in the dressing room, and Mr. Carter's gentle touch. I felt a mix of emotions swirling within me—excitement, confusion, and a hint of something deeper.
I made my way to the living room and flopped onto the couch, letting out a sigh.
