Chapter 4: Ep 4 - Your Dance, My Music
Heavy rain poured endlessly over the campus. Thunder occasionally struck, illuminating the gloomy sky that looked anything but welcoming. Jimin stared at the rain from behind the practice room window, pulling his jacket closer as the air grew colder.
He had just finished going over a few dance moves for their project. Today, Yoongi wasn't supposed to be in the practice room, yet his sudden presence in the corner of the room made the atmosphere feel strange.
Yoongi sat in front of his piano, as usual, lost in his own world. But this time, no somber melody played. His fingers remained still, as if waiting for something.
"Hyung, aren't you going home?" Jimin finally asked, breaking the silence.
Yoongi glanced at him briefly before turning his gaze back to the piano. "It's pouring outside. I didn't bring an umbrella."
Jimin nodded slightly, then hesitated before smiling. "Coincidentally... I didn't either."
That answer brought silence back into the room. Jimin watched Yoongi from a distance, trying to read his expression. But as always, his face was unreadable.

After a few minutes, Jimin decided to practice his dance moves again to ease the awkwardness. He played a song from his phone and began moving gracefully.
Unintentionally, Yoongi watched from his seat. Jimin's movements were filled with emotion, as if painting a story in the air. In every step, there was a passion that was hard to ignore.
When the song ended, Jimin let out a deep breath. He turned toward Yoongi, realizing that the older man had been watching him.
"Do you... always dance like that?" Yoongi asked suddenly.
Jimin was surprised to hear his voice out of nowhere. "Eh? What do you mean, hyung?"
Yoongi shook his head slightly. "With passion. As if you're putting your whole heart into it."
Jimin's face turned red at the unexpected compliment. "Oh... I just love dancing, hyung. It feels like the best way to express myself."
Yoongi was silent for a moment, staring at the piano in front of him. "I think... I understand."
The silence returned, but this time, it felt comfortable. Jimin gathered his courage to ask.
"Hyung, why do you always play music that... sounds sad?"
Yoongi turned slowly, his gaze once again unreadable. "Music is the best way for me to express myself. Just like you with your dance."
That answer made Jimin curious. He wanted to ask more, but he was afraid of making Yoongi uncomfortable.
But before he could say anything else, Yoongi continued. "Sometimes, sadness is the only emotion I can feel clearly. So... that's what I pour into my music."
There was an honesty in Yoongi's words that touched Jimin. For the first time, he felt like he was seeing a different side of Yoongi—one that had always been hidden behind his cold demeanor.

The rain outside began to subside, but Jimin didn't feel the need to leave just yet. Even though their conversation had been simple, something between them had shifted.
As Yoongi stood up, ready to leave, he turned to Jimin. "Your dancing... it's good. Keep doing it that way."
Jimin smiled brightly, feeling warm despite the cold air in the room. "Thank you, hyung."
Yoongi nodded slightly before walking out.
Deep inside, Jimin knew this was another small step. Little by little, the high walls surrounding Yoongi were beginning to show cracks.
