"I am Miyuki Uchiha, and the villagers calls me the Blue Thunder," Miyuki Uchiha declared, his tone as severe as the gravity of the situation.

"First, I do not want to hear any more talk of rebellion within the clan," he announced firmly.

"Ah?" The young Uchiha, who had been fervently supportive just moments before, were stunned. Shisui and Itachi let out a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Miyuki Uchiha still had the sense to understand that the clan could not afford rebellion.

However, the next moment, their hearts sank again.

"This village, from its very foundation, was created by Madara-sama and the First Hokage together. The Uchiha clan, in a certain sense, should be considered one of the true rulers of this village. What we need to do is simply reclaim the power that is rightfully ours."

"Exactly! This village should have a portion belonging to the Uchiha clan!" Uchiha Inaho passionately agreed.

"Secondly, the manpower in the security department is insufficient. Starting to

morrow, we will recruit civilian ninjas. Within a week, I expect the security department's personnel to double. The pay for these civilian ninjas will at least match the standard of a D-rank mission in the village. Furthermore, we will bring out all the ninja techniques unrelated to the Sharingan, including the spoils of war accumulated by the clan over the years, and use them as rewards for ninjas who demonstrate exceptional contributions," Miyuki Uchiha continued, throwing out his second bombshell.

This caused an even louder uproar. Even Shisui and Itachi were momentarily confused about Miyuki Uchiha's intentions.

"Silence!" Miyuki Uchiha raised his hand, quieting the room. "Most of you present hold positions in the security department, so I'm sure you've encountered situations where, despite upholding the law, villagers still harbor resentment. The security team may seem powerful, but it has built a thick wall between our Uchiha clan and the villagers. This was a trap set by those Senju old ghost for our clan!"

"In order to reclaim our power, the first thing we must do is bridge the gap with the villagers. The First Hokage once said something important: 'It's not by becoming Hokage that you gain the village's approval, it's by gaining the village's approval that you can become Hokage!'"

After all, the events six years ago forced the clan to move out of the village center," Uchiha Fugaku interjected, offering a cautionary reminder.

"Elder Fugaku, you don't need to worry about this. I will ensure the clan gets the funds," Miyuki Uchiha said with a calm smile.

"As long as you have a plan... then, according to the clan's tradition, the clan leader always serves as the head of the security department..." Uchiha Fugaku began.

"No, no, no," Miyuki Uchiha interrupted before Fugaku could finish, "Elder Fugaku, please continue to serve as the head of the security department. I have more important matters to attend to."

"More important matters?" Uchiha Fugaku asked, slightly confused.

"Of course, I must fulfill the task assigned to me by the Third Hokage," Miyuki Uchiha responded with a smile.

"Speaking of which, since you've taken on the mission to investigate Danzo and the ROOT, shouldn't we start the investigation right away?" one of the elders asked.

"How could we start the investigation now?" Miyuki Uchiha smiled meaningfully. "We need to give them some time."

Some time to destroy the evidence.

"Inaho, Saito, starting tomorrow, you two will join me in investigating ROOT," Miyuki Uchiha said, nodding towards the two Uchiha clan members who had been accompanying him the entire time.

"Understood!"

"Understood!"

While the Uchiha clan meeting was taking place, in the ROOT base within the village, Yamanaka Kaze and Aburame Ryoma were directing their subordinates to destroy ROOT's documents without pause. Since the Uchiha clan ninjas were naturally a counter to them, Yamanaka Kaze had been left behind in the base by Danzo. Aburame Ryoma, for similar reasons, had been involved in an earlier mission during the Third Ninja World War, where Danzo had sent him to ambush the then-rising Miyuki Uchiha. After a close encounter, Ryoma barely survived after his insects were disrupted by Miyuki's lightning techniques.

So this time, Danzo had kept them both at the base, but they never expected to receive the news of Danzo's direct death.

Under Danzo's years of brainwashing, the remaining ROOT ninjas moved like machines, collecting the top-secret documents and then incinerating them with Fire Style jutsu.

As the night passed, and most of the destruction was nearly complete, they received word that Miyuki Uchiha and his group were heading toward the ROOT base.

"This old bastard's hideout is quite remote," Inaho Uchiha couldn't help but grumble after walking for a while.

Miyuki Uchiha smiled at the comment, raising an eyebrow. "The bastard's here."

As soon as the words left his mouth, blue lightning surged from Miyuki Uchiha, and various insects appeared around the three of them, crackling as they descended. The plants under their feet withered the moment they made contact with these insects.

Inaho and Saito immediately took out kunai from their ninja tool pouches, assuming a combat stance.

"Aburame clan ninjas, haven't you learned your lesson last time? These bugs are useless against me," Miyuki Uchiha declared loudly.

In response, a series of shuriken flew toward Miyuki Uchiha.

However, as the shuriken reached within a foot of Miyuki Uchiha, they mysteriously froze midair.

With a loud bang, one of the shuriken exploded into a cloud of smoke, revealing Aburame Ryoma's figure as he lunged forward with a kunai aimed directly at Miyuki Uchiha's throat.
