My Name Is Uchiha Kuragami, I Beat The Villagers And Made Them Scream

The next morning, Kuragami Uchiha went straight to the interrogation room of the Konoha Military Police Force.

"Clan head." 

The Uchiha members inside the room nodded and greeted him upon his arrival.

"How did things go with those three from yesterday?" Kuragami Uchiha asked.

"Huh?" 

Inoka Uchiha, who was in charge of the interrogation, was momentarily stunned. Yesterday, his superior hadn't exactly given any instructions on what to extract from them.

Kuragami Uchiha fell silent upon seeing this, and then he turned his gaze toward the three high-ranking members of the Shimura Clan who were tied to the interrogation racks, already beaten beyond recognition. Clearly, these were all personal grudges at play.

"Apologies, the clan members were a bit too eager to help. I couldn't stop them." Inoka Uchiha said with an awkward smile.

Kuragami Uchiha shook his head. "No worries. I should have been more specific with my orders."

After speaking, he pulled up a chair and sat down a short distance from the three men.

"Tell me, how much do you know about Danzo Shimura's crimes?" His gaze met their bloodshot eyes, filled with hatred.

"The Uchiha are inherently evil. Hokage-sama will not let you get away with this." The oldest of the three, a Shimura elder deeply tied to Danzo, coughed up a mouthful of blood and glared venomously.

Before Kuragami Uchiha could respond, a nearby Uchiha immediately struck the elder's mouth with a baton.

"Uncle Feidao?" 

Kuragami Uchiha glanced at the attacker. Feidao Uchiha was a middle-aged elite Jonin of the clan. "I thought squad four had the day off today."

"Well, the interrogation team was a bit short-handed, so I figured I'd lend a hand." Feidao Uchiha chuckled.

Years ago, during the third shinobi war, his second son had died in combat. In his heart, he had long suspected foul play when, out of a nine-man squad, only two Shimura members had survived unscathed. 

Now that some of the Shimura Clan members were in their hands, it was no surprise that he and others who had suffered similar losses were eager to take revenge. He had waited all night for his turn.

As Feidao Uchiha continued to mercilessly beat Retsudo Shimura, Kuragami Uchiha turned his attention to another prisoner.

"Arashi Shimura, we have evidence that during the Land of Water campaign, you colluded with an enemy ninja, leading to the deaths of a Uchiha Jonin, two Chunin, and three civilian ninjas. Afterward, you took six pairs of Sharingan from our clan and offered them as a tribute to the rogue ninja, Danzo Shimura. What do you have to say about that?" Kuragami Uchiha asked in an unhurried manner while resting his head on one hand.

"Kuragami Uchiha! You're slandering me!" Arashi Shimura roared in fury.

"Keep quiet!" 

Before he could say more, another hard strike silenced him.

Kuragami Uchiha then shifted his gaze to the last prisoner.

"Yusuke Shimura."

"What do you want? I have never even been on a battlefield!"

"Are you proud of that as a ninja?" 

Kuragami Uchiha sneered. "Your case has nothing to do with the third shinobi war. We found records that in year 44 of Konoha, you spread malicious rumors in the village that led to the suicide of the legendary Konoha's White Fang, Sakumo Hatake. You were also involved in silencing a key witness, Kishida Keisuke. Am I wrong?"

"You… You're lying! I never did anything like that!" 

A flicker of panic flashed in Yusuke Shimura's eyes, which did not escape Kuragami Uchiha's notice.

Kuragami Uchiha sat up straight with great interest. Unexpectedly, he casually named someone based on the Shimura clan's genealogy, yet he had still managed to uncover something worthwhile.

"There's an old saying, 'a wise man adapts to circumstances.' look around you. These various torture devices… I'm sure they'll loosen your tongue sooner or later. I'd suggest you cooperate." At this time, Kuragami's voice became icy.

At that moment, a clan member entered the interrogation room and whispered something in Kuragami Uchiha's ear.

"Clan head, clan head Hiroshi, and the two Hokage advisors have arrived. They're demanding that we release these three."

"Kuragami Uchiha, if you know what's good for you, you'll let us go immediately! The village won't let you get away with this!" 

Retsudo Shimura, overhearing the report, sneered arrogantly.

"So noisy." Kuragami Uchiha sighed and turned to Feidao Uchiha. "Uncle Feidao, you're getting older, don't force yourself too much."

"Hmph, don't underestimate me, brat. Even at sixty, I could still beat someone the likes of him without breaking a sweat." Feidao Uchiha grumbled, increasing the force of his strikes, making Retsudo Shimura's agonized screams echo through the chamber.

"Easy, Uncle Feidao, don't kill him." Kuragami Uchiha called out as he left the room, walking leisurely toward the Konoha Military Police Force's main gate.

Outside the gate, Hiroshi Shimura stood alongside Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, blocking the entrance. Behind them, there were a large number of ninjas from the Shimura clan.

"Advisors, you must seek justice for the Shimura Clan!" 

Hiroshi Shimura pleaded, his voice filled with grief. "Danzo-sama devoted his entire life to the village, yet after his death, his clan is being persecuted like this. This is clearly the Uchiha clan's revenge!"

"Don't worry, the village will definitely give you an explanation." Koharu Utatane soothed over.

At that moment, Kuragami Uchiha and Fugaku Uchiha walked out of the Konoha Military Police Force together.

"Oh? What brings the esteemed advisors here today?" 

Kuragami Uchiha said with a chuckle. He then turned to Fugaku. "Uncle Fugaku, this is on you. How could you let the advisors stand outside like this? At the very least, you should invite them in for tea."

"My apologies; my duties have kept me occupied." Fugaku Uchiha calmly responded.

"Kuragami Uchiha, you've gone too far! Release Retsudo Shimura and the others immediately! This is completely outrageous!" When Koharu sees Kuragami, she immediately gets angry.

"Release them?" 

Kuragami Uchiha's smile didn't waver. "I'm afraid that's impossible. The three of them are closely tied to the crimes of the rogue ninja, Danzo Shimura. They are suspected of selling village secrets, harming fellow Konoha ninja, and other acts of treason."

"You're slandering them! This is blatant defamation!" Hiroshi Shimura, emboldened by the presence of the advisors, now stood tall and accused Kuragami Uchiha righteously.

Yesterday, within the Shimura Clan's own territory, he hadn't dared to challenge Kuragami Uchiha. But here, with the advisors backing him, he felt safe enough to fight back loudly with confidence.
