She still felt the guilt from the last time. If something were to happen to him now, then she wouldn't be able to live.

As he looked down, Lucian noticed hands made of sand were clutching his legs, and the oldest woman of the group was kneeling with her palms pressed against the ground at the back of the group.

A grin was spread across her face just like the other members of the group, it seemed they were enjoying slowly killing their new leader very much.
