"Huh?" Haru frowned, recalling that he had completed a special sign-in task.
'Was it only after intimidating the Uchiha clan that the sign-in was judged complete?'
Haru muttered to himself.
As the Anbu was the Third Hokage's direct force, Kakashi wouldn't have delayed reporting the information to Hiruzen Sarutobi.
For ninjas, the importance of intelligence often surpassed their own lives.
It seemed that last night's intimidation had been very successful, completely dispelling the Third Hokage's concerns and making him abandon the idea of sacrificing Hizashi.
That was why the Sign-in System had finally responded.
This also made Haru suddenly feel energized. He stared intently at the progress bar, eagerly anticipating the rewards this time.

CONGRATULATIONS, HOST! SIGN-IN COMPLETE!
SIGN-IN REWARD: GENJUTSU IMMUNITY!
SPECIAL BONUS: BYAKUGAN!
Haru: "!!!"
"Two rewards?"
Haru blinked, feeling a surge of excitement. He jumped out of bed in an instant.
Especially the first ability if he could become immune to all genjutsu, it meant that techniques like Tsukuyomi and Kotoamatsukami, which were notoriously difficult to counter, would have no effect on him.
In the future, when facing Uchiha Itachi, Haru could not only stare directly into his Sharingan eyes but also challenge him to a blinking contest.
Haru quickly rushed to the drawer and pulled out a mirror.
In addition to the regular sign-in reward, the system had also gifted him the Byakugan of the Hyūga clan.
Although the Byakugan and the Sharingan were both ocular techniques, the Byakugan couldn't be freely toggled like the latter.
Even in its normal state, the Byakun was quite noticeable.
Fortunately, the Byakugan granted by the Sign-in System was different from the Hyūga clan's.
Haru stared at his reflection in the mirror, carefully examining himself. His pupils were still black and full of life.
'Deep, killer gaze!'
Haru's gaze shifted from his eyes to his overall appearance.
When he had first transmigrated, he had looked quite young and tender. Plus, despite the decline of the Senju clan, they were never short of money. Eating lavish meals every day had given him a bit of baby fat.
But now, thanks to persistent training and growth, his appearance had changed significantly.
If female ninjas saw him now, he wondered if they would fall for him at first sight.
'But there's nothing I can do about it. After all, I'm not interested in women.'
Haru shook his head inwardly, feeling a bit sorry for the female ninjas who might have a crush on him. Then, he decided to test out the Byakugan.
When Haru activated the Byakugan, his pupils instantly turned from black to white, and the veins around his temples bulged.
Just like a member of the Hyūga clan.
The sensation felt incredibly strange to Haru. His gaze remained fixed on the mirror, but he could clearly see everything in the room.
His field of vision expanded to a full 360 degrees.
No blind spots.
However…
This also allowed Haru to notice a group of people approaching his house.
"Someone's coming."
Seeing this, Haru immediately deactivated the Byakugan. At the same time, the door to his house was forcefully kicked open.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Several black figures rushed in and quickly took up defensive positions.
Then, a man Haru was all too familiar with strolled in casually.
Shimura Danzō.
The man who bore the brunt of Konoha's darkest deeds in Naruto.
'The Shadow of Blame!'
"Hmm?"
Danzō scanned the room and quickly noticed Haru, who was holding a mirror.
This made Danzō frown.
Before deciding to come here to recruit Haru, Danzō had already seen through Hiruzen's schemes.
Haru was undoubtedly a powerful ninja Hiruzen had secretly trained.
And Danzō's decision to have Root members burst in was also a test for Haru.
He wanted to see how Haru would react when faced with ninjas suddenly storming into his home.
After all, this guy had effortlessly wiped out the assassination squad Danzō had assembled.
And he had done so without revealing his Wood Release abilities.
This person…
Was unfathomable!
"A mirror?"
Danzō immediately took a step back, signaling the Root members to shield him.
In his eyes, the mirror in Haru's hand might not be as simple as it appeared.
It was likely some kind of ninja tool, disguised through some method.
Otherwise, how could Haru be holding such an object?
It couldn't be that Haru had a habit of looking in the mirror as soon as he woke up, could it?
He wasn't a little girl.
Most importantly, Haru was extremely calm, exuding an aura of confidence.
"What are you planning to do with that thing in your hand?"
Danzō took the initiative, using a questioning tone to pressure Haru.
"I woke up and found myself handsome. Is that a problem?" Haru said nonchalantly, placing the mirror on the table.
Danzō: "???"
"So, why have you surrounded my house with your men so early in the morning?" Haru fired back.
Danzō had likely learned about last night's events during the night.
But Haru hadn't expected him to storm into his house first thing in the morning.
However, if Danzō wanted to start a fight here, Haru wasn't worried.
The Uchiha clan hadn't been wiped out yet, so Danzō probably only had one of Shisui's Sharingan eyes.
And genjutsu techniques were now useless against him.
As for the Hashirama cells in Danzō's arm…
Heh.
Seeing Haru remain calm and composed, Danzō's mood became somewhat complicated. He felt that with such a grand display, anyone would be confused, wondering if they had done something wrong.
"I'm not here to make an enemy of you."
Danzō raised his arm, signaling the Root members to stand down, though he didn't order them to leave.
"I'm here to join forces with you."
Danzō spoke with conviction, extending an invitation to Haru.
This took Haru completely by surprise.
He had thought Danzō was here to kill him.
But instead, he wanted to recruit him.
Though, with this kind of approach?
Did he really have any sincerity?
Haru glanced around the room. There were at least twenty Root ninjas here.
"I understand Tobirama-sama's ideals better than Hiruzen. Your Wood Release should be used on the right path, to become the root that protects the village."
Haru looked at Danzō with a deadpan expression. "You sure know how to talk."
"So, do you agree?"
"I refuse." Haru shook his head without hesitation. Did Danzō really think Haru had forgotten about the assassination attempt?
"As expected…"
Danzō, however, looked as if he had anticipated this response.
But there was no trace of disappointment in his eyes. Instead, he issued a command, ordering the Root members outside to guard the area.
Then, Danzō began to unwrap the bandages covering his right eye.
