"Are we really going to act here?"

Itachi looked around. This was his first time in a place like this.

"The number of Root ninjas gathered here is enough to suppress a coup launched by the Uchiha clan."

Itachi narrowed his eyes and shook his head.

The Uchiha clan had already lost their rationality. Even if they did launch a coup, they would only be crushed by Danzo's Root.

And it would end in an even bloodier manner.

"There are more Root members here than I imagined," Itachi said to Haru.

"Indeed." Haru nodded. If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he wouldn't have believed how exaggerated the number of Root members was.

He vaguely remembered that during Pain's attack on the Leaf Village, the Root members hiding in the underground fortress seemed to number only a few dozen.

But gathered here were at least a hundred ninjas.

Most importantly, these were all individuals who had undergone special training under Danzo. They had abandoned their names, emotions, and had no past or future.

Even Shisui's genjutsu would struggle against the combined assault of seven or eight Root members.

In other words, Haru didn't have much hope for Itachi's genjutsu.

"It's the real body," Itachi nodded. "But are you sure you want to act in this situation?"

As he spoke, Itachi glanced around.

The space here wasn't small, but because of the sheer number of ninjas gathered, the available room to maneuver was limited.

Most importantly, if they acted here, they wouldn't just be facing Danzo they'd also have to deal with the other Root members.

In Itachi's view, this wasn't a wise decision.

But Haru didn't care about any of that.

To him, it didn't matter whether Danzo had dozens or hundreds of Root members around him.

"Wood Release: Advent of a World of Trees!"

Haru's response to Itachi was to simply clasp his hands together.

With a crisp sound, the ground trembled violently as if the earth itself was roaring.
