My Simulated Road to Immortality

Chapter 1475: Four Saint Lords of the Immortal World

"With the strength of one person, he comprehended the Three Thousand Great Paths. The Grandmaster's thoughts surprisingly matched mine in some ways."

Looking around, Li Buren was somewhat astonished, yet also confused.

Inside the Grandmaster lay the myriad facets of all living beings.

It was also the manifestation of countless Great Paths between Heaven and Earth.

Living beings replicated by the Grandmaster became the carriers of these manifestations.

Li Buren stared at the countless faces arrayed horizontally around the cosmos, and for a moment, he almost felt he was within the Dao Network.

In fact, from a conceptual point of view, the Grandmaster alone was equivalent to the "Dao Network."

However, the precision of enlightenment among these living beings and the number of Taoist Principles here had a tremendous gap compared to the Dao Network Li Fan saw in the Sea of the Northern Stars.

"These various Dao Paths all manifest due to different living beings. But..."

Li Buren shifted his gaze from Lan Yu and casually looked at another mortal from Yuandao State.

This person was enveloped in a Taoist Aura related to "tracing."

The intensity of the aura's fluctuations was simply impossible for a mere mortal to possess!

"The shadows traced by the Grandmaster have far surpassed the shadows' originals in understanding the Dao..."

Li Buren gazed at where he sensed the collective focus of the living beings' perspective.

In the faint realm, where the Illusionary Shadow resided.

Li Buren instantly understood: "So, this is the case. The Illusionary Shadow is the extreme of change. It not only adapts to timely circumstances but also reacts variously to different living beings it encounters within Heaven and Earth."

Back when the Immortal Dao Ten Clans entered Tiandu and saw the Illusionary Shadow, each person's eyes and ears encountered different Techniques. Yet, without exception, they all seemed to be deeply connected to what they had previously learned, as if tailored for them.

This led the Immortal Dao Ten Clans to conclude that the Grandmaster surely hailed from the Immortal World, and what was imparted to them must be the Techniques inherited from the Immortal World.

"The Immortal World... how could there be methods from the mortal realm? Compared to the immortal arts, the Immortal Dao Ten Clans' true inheritance is far inferior!"

"They could never have imagined that the so-called inheritance was merely different evolutions naturally occurring after the Illusionary Shadow connected with them. Just like a mirror!"

"The Grandmaster placed them within to face the Illusionary Shadow and occasionally froze the living beings of Yuandao State, likely all for the Daoist Image reflected in this mirror."

Thinking this, Li Buren couldn't help but regard the Tiandu Grandmaster differently.

Acquiring the Supreme Treasure leading directly to the Nameless Realm, yet unlike the Hungry Immortal, he did not rush to comprehend the treasure's path but used it as a tool, attempting to encompass all the Great Paths of the world within his grasp...

The Grandmaster, in reality, was merely a Half Immortal.

Such actions could be described as arrogant and presumptuous.

But Li Buren deeply understood that facing the Nameless Supreme Treasure, the Grandmaster still managed to restrain his inner greed, guarding it for eons without altering his original intent.

He could never be a fool.

"There must be a reason behind his actions."

Li Buren temporarily refrained from pressing, instead observing the Grandmaster's millennia-long accumulation, the different Dao Paths manifested through the Illusionary Shadow's influence on countless living beings. He actually smiled, which was quite rare.

"Lacking in strength, he merely prepared a wedding robe for others."

"Such a generous gift, I will gladly accept it."

With this thought, an overwhelming ink color burst from Li Buren's body.

Like numerous tendrils, it stained the countless Daoist Images within the Grandmaster's body one after another.

As Li Buren predicted, each shadow contained insights into different Dao Paths.

Like fruits condensed over millennia, they were extraordinarily enticing to cultivators.

Li Buren showed no mercy, seizing them all for himself.

As thousands of Daoist Images were devoured by Li Buren, within Li Fan's true body, in the endless ink sea of the Ink-Killing Immortal Soul, different droplets slowly began to appear.

Resembling the previous display when the Ink-Killing Soul stained the Xuanhuang Heavenly Earth.

The Grandmaster's millennia of enlightenment, combined with Li Fan's own insights acquired through Reincarnation.

Many ink droplets, representing different Dao Paths, emerged from the Ink-Killing Immortal Soul.

The myriad forms of living beings continued to emerge.

While bringing vitality to the Ink-Killing Immortal Soul, it also provided the pathway to transform into different Great Paths.

Feeling the dramatic changes occurring within, Li Fan's heart stirred, and a pulsating flame, red with black edges, appeared in his palm.

"Ink-Killing as the essence, Crimson Flame as the form."

"This flame..."

Li Fan flicked his finger, and the black flame instantly turned into a thread, shooting out of the Xuanhuang World, colliding fiercely with the Heavenly Pillar formed by the Hungry Immortal in the Abyss Star Ocean.

No ripple formed, and the pillar remained motionless.

After all, forged by a Nameless True Immortal, it could withstand the Path-obliterating Calamity. Li Fan's true self, still at the Half-Immortal Realm, despite the oddity of the Ink-Killing, was far from capable of harming the Hungry Immortal's Heavenly Pillar.

Li Fan was not surprised, raising an eyebrow as he sensed the inconspicuous charred mark on the pillar.

"Even integrating with one path with the Nameless Immortal Body, its strong rejection of other paths cannot fully expel the Ink-Killing."

"Moreover, accompanied by that charred trace, the erosion of the Ink-Killing continues. Although slow, its perseverance is commendable."

"Stretched over infinite time, the towering Heavenly Pillar might eventually get pierced someday."

"And this is just the beginning..."

Li Fan had a premonition that as more Dao Paths were eroded, the Ink-Killing's ability to erode would grow stronger.

"As though different Dao Paths subtly shared certain commonalities. The more paths eroded, the more shared points were mastered."
