Chapter 832: Battle against the mythical beast, Typhon (part-1)
"The Guardian God, my dear master, didn't just separate this Arcana world from the usual solar system or use a special kind of barrier. He just created a giant pocket dimension. He created a star system itself for the Arcana world. Perhaps that thing wasn't even a real star. It was probably his condensed ball of energy. No wonder Argus said Olympian gods hold no authority in this world. Indeed, this is a perfect world to hide."
As the pieces suddenly fell into place, a thought occurred in Azzy's head. "And if we just develop our country in this place… isn't death clan be saved from any possible actions of the gods? But where should we pick it? But if we choose to build a country here in some pocket dimension, transportation will become too complex for Gaia. In that case, we would have to set up our own private portal that perhaps can directly connect to the country we build in the new Camelot. But which location will be apt? Level-1 and Level-2 regions are tightly watched by the other countries. If we have to hide, the level-3 region is a better option… Hmm… wait a second… what about…"
Azzy frantically turned his head, left, and then right. There, his eyes fell on the moon up there. His eyes lit up. "Yup, the moon should be the best place to set up our country…"
"Come out, Lux Aeturnum."
He summoned his Arcana spirit, the anti-divine sword of radiance, the six-winged Angel with dark wings appeared floating beside him. "Master." He grabbed her hands and said. "Let's go."
With a thought, Azzy and Lux disappeared, reappearing on the moon. The first thing he felt as soon as he appeared was the sight of a utopian world.
It was a world covered in lush forests and a great amount of water source.
Tall trees with crowns touching the thin atmosphere. Flowers as tall as towers bloomed in the distance. Vines stretched across canyons.
And as for the gravity, it was quite light, like about 70% of the original gravity on the Arcana world.
To study the world more, Azzy unleashed his Aura Sensing ability, stretching it as far as possible, and it didn't take him three seconds to find himself after covering the entire planet. The entire landmass was no more than 800 km in diameter.
However, there was a stark surprise evident on Azzy's face.
The tiny size of the moon, contrary to its large size in the sky, wasn't the surprise here.
There was someone other than him here.
It was a monster. A creature far beyond the demigod realm was seen resting, roughly a couple of hundred kilometers away from his location.
Azzy narrowed his eyes. "This… A god realm monster?"
He flew toward the source, cutting through the moist, fragrant air. It didn't take long for him to reach the location.
In a sunken valley, hidden between forest-covered cliffs and quiet waterfalls, he found it.
Curled like a resting dragon, the creature slumbered.
It was a massive serpent with demonic horns, midnight scales glowing faintly, its lower body coiled in black smoke. Its upper half surprisingly appeared to be humanoid, with six muscular arms folded against its chest, clawed fingers twitching in sleep.
Long hair like dark flame spilled across its back, and beneath the closed eyelids, a single tear glistened on its monstrous cheek.
Hovering above the sleeping titan, Azzy narrowed his eyes. He murmured, "Master really thought this through... sealing even this beast in one of the pocket worlds. I bet this is the true lord of the Arcana world. The King of all monsters here. Because of its extraordinary strength, which not even demigods might be able to deal with, he sealed this on the moon, a hundred thousand kilometers away."
It was then Vajra summoned itself, coming outside the mindscape in its default form of the black lightning orb. It then buzzed around, speaking telepathically to Azzy.
"Eh? Typhon?" Azzy was taken aback.
The story of Typhon was one of the most famous bedtime stories for the children in the Arcana world.
Once upon a time, as Zeus ruled the universe through unjust punishments and selfishness, causing natural disasters everywhere, Gaia once rebelled against him. She created the monster Typhon, a terrifying monster that shook the heavens with its Giant army. However, the gods managed to beat it and forced Gaia to swear that she would never try to interfere in the affairs of the Olympians. According to the legends, it was supposed to be imprisoned in Tartarus, but Azzy had seen it with his own eyes now.
Fortunately, the beast is seen as heavily restricted. Shimmering golden chains could be seen all over its body. Yet, it still possessed the strength of a god realm beast. Azzy's heart spiked in excitement. He, who was not satisfied with those two battles that just ended with simple punches, is now looking forward to the best against this monster.
However, the only problem weighing down his mind is that if they fight here, the moon will probably get destroyed. So, he had to be decisive. No, it has to be a sure kill attack.
Meanwhile, the creature stirred, sensing an intruder's presence. The ground beneath Azzy trembled as Typhon's eyes opened.
In one instant, the beast's six arms uncoiled with thunderous crackles, wings of black flame erupted from its back, and the sky above darkened, not from clouds, but from its malicious aura. The monster didn't even seem like it was in the mood to talk.
Azzy had no time to speak or even think.
Typhon roared, a sound like a thousand storms breaking free at once. The force shattered the cliffside behind Azzy. His face ashened when he saw that. "My beautiful landscape…" He glared at the monster. "How dare you…"
Azzy moved, summoning the hourglass.
The black lightning orb flew on its own toward the monster. Typhon swiped its claws at the approaching lightning orb, but its claw missed Vajra by a sliver, while Azzy appeared above Typhon's head.
"Soul skill: Time Stop."
