Chapter 195: Gaining Destiny Points Like Drinking Water!
In the sky, a giant dragon soared at great heights, producing powerful gusts with each flap of her wings. Atop her back sat two figures.
One was a young, bulky man with long crimson hair and prominent horns. The other was a creature with the lower body of a snake and the upper body of a woman—though she lacked arms.
Eleanor flew swiftly through the sky, gradually approaching the place from which they had once fled.
They had traveled far from it, so returning would take quite some time.
"Hmm," Drayken mused to himself:
"My only concern is that human reinforcements might arrive soon. If they do, then the entire plan will fall apart."
"You don't have to worry about that," Eleanor chuckled. "There are other dragons already blocking most of the reinforcements."
"What if a Telekinetic Paragon attacks?" Drayken asked, his expression turning serious. If one of them were to actually intervene, it could spell the end for them.
Telekinetic Paragons were theorized to rival Rank 9 dragons, though it was only a theory. Still, they were more than capable of utterly destroying Rank 7 dragons with ease.
"Then our Supreme Dragon King will enter the battlefield as well," Eleanor replied confidently. "When a Telekinetic Paragon makes a move, their fluctuations aren't subtle, they can be sensed from afar. That will make the battlefield interesting."
"Well, if Grandpa joins in, then he could definitely turn the tide of the battlefield. But I'm curious, if we've always been so much stronger than the humans, then why didn't we just wipe them out before, like pulling weeds?" Drayken asked, nodding thoughtfully.
"Because of their Human God, who is no weaker than our Dragon God," Eleanor said, her pupils flickering. "In fact, according to legend, the Human God is actually a step stronger than our own. That's the reason we haven't completely annihilated the humans."
"..." Drayken fell silent, and they continued their journey.
After a long flight, they finally arrived at the place they had once escaped from.
The terrifying rumble of clashing attacks echoed endlessly through the sky.
Four Rank 7 dragons clashed against two Telekinetic Grandmasters each.
The sky was ablaze with chaos as attacks rained down from all sides. The heavens themselves seemed to tremble under the sheer force of their battle.
To the naked eye, it appeared the Telekinetic Grandmasters held the upper hand. They met the dragons' fury with calm precision, effortlessly absorbing their blows and using their telekinetic power to suppress them with overwhelming pressure.
One of the Grandmasters wielded a simple bow but every time a single arrow was notched and released, it would instantly split into a volley of arrows that rained down on the dragons with deadly precision.
Another old man wielded a mace, using it skillfully for both offense and defense against the dragons. Each time the mace struck, dragon scales shattered, and blood splattered, staining the muddy grass below.
"Do it," Drayken whispered to the Naga Princess.
Instantly, a flash of purple light blazed through the sky.
It was too fast, far too fast for anyone to react.
The Telekinetic Grandmaster with the mace felt only a sudden surge of instinctual fear, then everything stopped. His body froze mid-air, completely motionless, like a statue suspended in time.
And then, gravity took hold.
The frozen Grandmaster plummeted from the sky, crashing into the earth below and carving a deep crater into the ground.
At that moment, a blue panel materialized in front of Drayken.
[You had a minor contribution in the slaying of the Telekinetic Grandmaster.]
[You have gained 250,000 Destiny Points.]
"Hmm, too little," Drayken muttered, frowning as he glanced at the panel. His gaze naturally shifted to the last remaining Telekinetic Grandmaster, the one with the bow.
That Grandmaster stood frozen, stunned by what had just occurred. His eyes tracked the fading purple light back to its source: a serpentine figure with a frail-looking body perched atop a massive dragon.
"Naga…!?" he gasped, eyes widening to their limits.
Despite being a seasoned powerhouse, even he couldn't maintain his composure.
At that critical moment, the eight Rank Seven dragons didn't waste the opportunity. All of them unleashed their attacks in unison, aiming straight at the stunned old man.
Caught off guard and facing the combined assault of eight dragons, the Telekinetic Grandmaster was forced to retreat, inch by inch, under the overwhelming pressure.
Drayken seized the moment.
The sky darkened, and lightning crackled down from above, surging into his body. His crimson hair stood on end, gradually turning white as his bloodline awakened.
A shimmering layer of Aura cloaked his entire body, pulsing with power.
"Hupp."
Taking a deep breath, Drayken raised his hand and pointed at the old man.
A bolt of black lightning erupted from his fingertips, lancing through the air with pinpoint precision.
The Telekinetic Grandmaster was completely caught off guard, he was struck directly, unable to mount any defense in time.
"Ahhh!"
A scream tore through the sky as a bloody hole burst open in the old man's back, the flesh around it charred and smoldering from the black lightning's burn.
But Drayken didn't stop.
By now, his bloodline had fully recovered and in an instant, he transformed into his dragon form.
Arcs of lightning danced wildly across his massive body, coiling around his scales like living snakes. He raised his dragon head, eyes glowing, and opened his jaws wide.
Lightning crackled. Mana surged.
"Aura Spell: Lightning Aura."
A terrifying beam of black lightning erupted from his mouth, firing straight at the Telekinetic Grandmaster.
Still disoriented from the earlier blow, the old man had no time to react.
Drayken showed no mercy. He continued to unleash the beam continuously without a moment of respite, relentlessly and mercilessly.
All of it happened in the blink of an eye and the Telekinetic Grandmaster could only frown in disbelief as his fate closed in.
Following Drayken's assault, Eleanor joined in, releasing a wave of frost that blanketed the air with chilling energy.
The other eight dragons followed suit, launching a barrage of powerful spells that lit up the sky and shook the skies with their force.
Though their combined assault ended shortly after, Drayken continued his relentless bombardment, his black lightning thundering down without pause, leaving everyone present stunned.
Only after Drayken was completely exhausted again, did he stop.
As the smoke and dust cleared, the aftermath was revealed, what remained was nothing more than a scorched corpse, completely incinerated by the terrifying black lightning. The Telekinetic Grandmaster was dead, beyond a shadow of a doubt.
At that moment, another blue panel appeared in front of Drayken.
[You have slain a Telekinetic Grandmaster, altering the destiny of this world.]
[You have gained 1,000,000 Destiny Points.]
