My starting summon is a small skeleton

Chapter 116: 115 Big Cemetery

Quan City, Underground Cave Secret Realm.

The Black Fox, diligently occupied with his tasks, suddenly received a message.

He glanced at it, a slight smile curling up at the corner of his mouth; after quickly finishing his work at hand, he headed for the restroom.

Inside the restroom, the Black Fox composed a text message and sent it to a boss who had given him orders.

With the successful transmission of the message,

a so-called boss lurking in the shadows began to advance towards Quan City.

And the organization to which they belonged quietly started to mobilize.

An operation was about to commence.

...

Great Graveyard!

The only Undead Type Secret Realm near Quan City.

Lu Wuyi arrived at the Secret Realm early in the morning with Li Kai.

Once there, Lu Wu was immensely glad he hadn't brought Dudu along!

The Great Graveyard here was completely different from the Underground Cave he had visited before.

That was a fully controlled, commercialized Secret Realm, while this one was either semi-controlled or frankly, not controlled at all.

The Summoner Professional Center had just set up a base camp within the Secret Realm for summoners who enter, which was neither large nor particularly well-outfitted.

The conditions were incomparable to those of the previous Secret Realm.

The most critical issue wasn't the camp's conditions; it was the environment of the Secret Realm itself.

As an Undead Type Secret Realm, the environment has always been this type of realm's Achilles' heel.

Other Secret Realms normally boasted clear mountains and greenery.

Though the color green might cause panic in some, most people found it refreshing, after all, it was the environment that was green, not something else.

Even the Underground Cave type of Secret Realm, being underground, may have a slightly poor environment, but it's just a bit dim, and one could easily get used to it after a while.

However, the situation at the Great Graveyard was different.

Especially after leaving the camp, Lu Wu almost couldn't help but turn back.

The sky here was a gloomy black; the ground was somewhat damp and muddy, riddled with potholes filled with some unknown liquid.

Where the ground was relatively clean and dry, there were mounds of earth that bulged like grave sites.

The air was permeated with a smell of decay and stench; gusts of chilling wind whistled through, sometimes accompanied by eerie wails.

In such an environment, you could shoot a horror movie without the need for any ghosts to scare people senseless.

At this moment, Lu Wu also understood why Li Kai had insisted on him wearing a mask and rain boots before leaving the camp.

Although Lu Wu was particularly averse to this environment, the Little Skeleton seemed to like it very much.

After all, it was an Undead Type Summoned Beast, and this place was like home to it; it really enjoyed it here.

While Lu Wu was still bewildered, it had already wandered around several times, and right now its Pupil Fire eyes were fixated on a murky puddle.

Just as Lu Wu came back to his senses and started looking for his Little Skeleton, he saw it and was hit by a strong sense of déjà vu, making him shiver, "Don't jump..."

"Splash."

Unfortunately, Lu Wu was too late.

The moment he shouted, the Little Skeleton lightly leaped and landed on the puddle.

The murky water splashed with the Skeleton's jump, drenching the surroundings, and covering the Little Skeleton with filth.

Seeing this, Lu Wu couldn't help but cover his head with his hand.

It was over; the Little Skeleton was dirty!

He couldn't keep it now!

But that wasn't the worst part, Lu Wu's 'don't jump' had failed to stop it, but it did succeed in attracting the Little Skeleton's attention.

Hearing Lu Wu shout, it happily wobbled over, bringing with it a stench that not even the mask could block, prompting Lu Wu to constantly ward it off with his hands.

"Don't come any closer! Stay right there! Do not come here!"

The Little Skeleton listened obediently and didn't come any closer, but its Pupil Fire eyes were full of resentment.

Why would Lu Wu not let the Little Skeleton come over? Did Lu Wu no longer want the Little Skeleton? Had Lu Wu turned bad?

Seeing the creature actually feeling resentful made Lu Wu seethe.

If it weren't for the fact that they really didn't have the facilities right now, he felt like giving the little rascal a good spanking and then rinse it with a hose a hundred times.

Well, although there were no conditions to rinse it a hundred times, they did have the means to wash it once.

In the end, Lu Wu couldn't restrain himself; he dragged the Little Skeleton back into the camp, gave it a bath, and then they went out again.

Going right back after just leaving, and to bathe a Summoned Beast at that, Lu Wu guessed he must be the first to do so.

"Don't jump into puddles anymore, and don't get yourself dirty again, got it?

If you get dirty again, I won't keep you, and forget about playing with the cellphone!"

Once they left the camp again, Lu Wu, while putting water shoes on the Little Skeleton, gave it a serious lecture.

He pulled out the two most effective threats that he knew would resonate with and frighten the Little Skeleton.

Indeed, these threats were effective, and the Little Skeleton became much more well-behaved.

Although its Pupil Fire eyes still flickered when it saw puddles, it now cleverly sidestepped them.

Little Skeleton was quite clever; it knew that stepping on Lu Wu would make him angry, and if Lu Wu got angry, he would no longer let Little Skeleton play with his cell phone.

As for throwing away Little Skeleton? Little Skeleton wasn't afraid!

This little guy's intelligence seemed to grow by the day; not long ago, a casual word from Lu Wu would have scared it to death, but now threats to throw it away were ineffective.

Because it knew.

Lu Wu wouldn't really throw Little Skeleton away, because Lu Wu liked Little Skeleton the best!

However, the cell phone threat still worked, and Little Skeleton was well-behaved for a good while, avoiding puddles to Lu Wu's satisfaction.

But Lu Wu's happiness did not last long as he soon discovered that Little Skeleton was dirty again.

Not only was Little Skeleton dirty, but so was he.

There was no helping it; the Big Cemetery had its own environment, too muddy on the ground, and no matter how careful Lu Wu was, it wouldn't help.

Unless he didn't walk on his own, otherwise he was bound to get dirty.

Lu Wu could only resign himself to it.

"It's fine to be dirty; you get used to it after a while. Going on an adventure in the Secret Realm, when is it not dirty?"

As he spoke, Lu Wu had already taken Li Kai's advice and climbed onto the neck of the Storm Giant Bear.

How should I put it?

This delicate aura about Lu Wu was completely mismatched with the hardy Summoners.

But Li Kai thought it was quite normal; Mr. Lu, their Cultivation Master, wasn't some crude summoner, okay!

And what's this about being delicate? It was elegance and composure!

Well, what else can be said, other than Lu Wu was quite fortunate to have such a boss and student.

And so, Lu Wu's life in the Great Graveyard Secret Realm began.

Lu Wu's purpose in going to the Big Cemetery this time was twofold: one was to find a suitable Evolution spot for Little Skeleton, and the other was to train Little Skeleton in actual combat, striving to quickly complete the transformation from a warrior to a Mage.

Simply put, when Little Skeleton encounters an enemy, don't use big clubs, use Spells to smash.

This would rely on fighting. Little Skeleton was still young, its melee style hadn't been formed for long, and its brain was becoming more inspired by the day. With more battle experience and guidance from Lu Wu, it should be able to change quickly.

"Little Skeleton's first battle can't be against too strong an opponent. It needs a slightly weaker one, one that will let it fully enjoy the pleasure of using Magic skills to dominate the weak."

With such thoughts, Lu Wu began to help Little Skeleton look for an opponent.

As the saying goes, standing high allows one to see far. Sitting on the neck of the Storm Giant Bear, Lu Wu could see further than others and therefore could spot targets earlier.

Soon, Lu Wu found an opponent for Little Skeleton.

A staggering Corpses!

Although he hadn't fought it yet, Lu Wu could tell at a glance with his current Cultivation Master's ability that this Corpses' power was around two to three stars.

"This one is perfect, its power is close to Little Skeleton's, and it's slow; it'll make the best target. Fighting it, Little Skeleton should be able to enjoy the thrill of overpowering the weak."

Saying this, Lu Wu gave Little Skeleton an order.

"Little Skeleton, fifty meters ahead is a Corpses. Go defeat it..."

Lu Wu had barely finished speaking when a flash of electric light appeared on Little Skeleton, and 'whoosh,' it was gone.

Then, the Corpses was struck down by Little Skeleton's club.

However, due to habits developed in the Underground Cave and the fact that the Corpses hadn't attacked Lu Wu, Little Skeleton, after knocking it down, didn't move, thinking the Corpses would submit like the Summoned Beasts in the Underground Cave.

But the Corpses didn't surrender and immediately retaliated, scratching Little Skeleton and tearing its clothes. The injury wasn't serious, but it made Little Skeleton angry.

These were the clothes that Lu Wu had bought for it, which it liked very much!

Just as Little Skeleton was about to swing its club to strike, Lu Wu's command came.

"Don't use the club, only use 'Bone Teeth,' 'Bone Shield,' and 'Corrosive Hand'!

Now pull away!"

These three were all the Mage Series skills Little Skeleton had recently mastered.

Lu Wu's unexpected command left Little Skeleton confused, not understanding why a job that could be done with a club should use magic.

But Lu Wu was Lu Wu, and Little Skeleton had to listen to him.

So, Little Skeleton immediately distanced itself from the Corpses and threw a 'Bone Teeth' at it, then looked back at Lu Wu.

As if asking, is this how it's done?

"Yes, that's right, go on!"

Lu Wu affirmed and added a temptation, "If you do well, next time you fight, I'll give you some BGM!"

What was "bi ji mei"? Little Skeleton was a bit puzzled.

"It means I'll play music for you when you fight!"

Little Skeleton understood this time, and its enthusiasm surged. As it vigorously nodded its head, it began relentlessly attacking that Corpses.

Left hand 'Bone Teeth,' right hand 'Corrosive Hand.'

Going back and forth with a flurry of blows, it blasted the Corpses into pieces with sheer force.

The moment the Corpses exploded, Little Skeleton looked at the club in its hand and felt it had become somewhat strange.

But quickly, Little Skeleton cast that thought aside, excitedly looking towards Lu Wu with its Pupil Fire flickering.

Although Little Skeleton couldn't speak, Lu Wu could see what the little guy was getting at.

"Little Skeleton won, so Lu Wu has to sing next time, right?"
