My Supernatural Girlfriends Spoils Me Rotten

Chapter 376: Life Is a Circle

They ate their dinner in silence because.

Even though the food was top quality, it tasted bland with the current atmosphere.

Shery seemed especially shaken. She flinched every time someone from the Crimzahr family spoke loudly.

Their voices cut through the restaurant, loud and arrogant, as if they owned the place.

They didn't care about etiquette. They laughed and talked over others, drawing attention without shame.

If anyone was being honest, it seemed like they were trying to provoke people on purpose. One by one, more customers left.

The staff asked them to keep it down, but they ignored every warning without a second thought.

No one dared to call them out. That silence said everything about their status.

Getting curious , he turned to Shery. "Who exactly are the Crimzahrs?"

Shery didn't answer right away. She glanced at the group, then back at him.

"You should just forget about them, Boss."

"Just answer the question. Why can they act like this in a neutral city?"

According to what he'd heard, Neutral City was supposed to be a safe haven—a place where anyone could live without being pushed around by one dominating group. It was built on balance, where no single power held control.

He even asked Pantheon. But the old dragon claimed the Crimzahrs didn't exist in its memory at all.

That meant they were either too new to matter, or too weak to ever make a difference in the bigger picture.

"I'm not sure. Even other families with their level of influence don't act like this. But if they're doing it in Orion, in broad daylight, then there's probably a reason they don't care about the consequences."

The more he listened to her, the more it felt like there was a hidden agenda behind all this.

Finally, one guest had enough.

The figure stood out—a being with a crystallized body, almost like it was carved from diamond, dressed in a sharp black tuxedo.

It was likely an A- Rank.

"Can you stop disturbing the other guests?" the diamond being repeated, his voice still ringing with glass-like echo.

"Oh no... this is getting dangerous," Shery leaned in and whispered. "That's the Crystaller Group. They're an underworld syndicate that sells illegal drugs across several galaxies."

Asher nodded, not really caring about the drug part.

What caught his attention was the setup. The Crimzahrs chose to sit near the syndicate group even though there were plenty of open tables around. That was too suspicious.

As he watched, the boy he humiliated earlier stood up with a sneer on his face, like he had been waiting for an excuse to go wile.

"And who do you think you are?" he asked, voice sharp with pride. "Stay out of things that don't concern you."

The diamond being didn't move. His crystal skin reflected the soft lights above, making him look unshakable.

"I'm someone who paid to enjoy a quiet meal," he said, voice still ringing with that glassy echo. "Your noise is becoming a problem."

Behind him, more members beings of the same race stood up. Dressed in tailored suits, they adjusted their cuffs and ties.

They didn't need to say anything—their presence alone sent a message.

"You think some shines and suits make you untouchable?" the Crimzahr boy snapped, summoning a small blade.

"Boss Alder, let's teach this kid a lesson. Show him our group isn't to be messed with," one of the Diamond race members said, revealing their leader's name.

Asher leaned back in his chair and took a slow sip of his wine.

Just as the confrontation heated up, the boy made a bold move.

Alder sneered at the futile attempt, but before he could counter, Draz acted.

Blood spikes burst from the floor, rising sharply and exploding . Within seconds, a cloud of red mist filled the room.

Asher quickly raised a barrier to shield their table. He narrowed his eyes, watching with interest.

Just before it happened, he caught a glimpse of Draz's wicked smile. That told him everything—this wasn't just a simple argument after all.

"YOU DARE ATTACK ME!"

Alder's aura exploded, shattering the windows despite their high-quality materials.

They were built to withstand attacks from A Rankers, but his aura was sharp and piercing, resonating through every pane of glass.

Draz also made a moved. His body changed as large wings grew from his back.

Six glowing eyes appeared on his face, twisting his features into something more like a deformed beast.

Meanwhile, the Crystaller group started changing too. Their clothes tore to shreds as spikes pushed out from their bodies, growing taller and sharper until they reached nearly ten feet.

If the floor wasn't so strong, it would have cracked from the sharp diamond spikes on their bodies.

"Please stop this!" the manager shouted, stepping forward with several guards. His bald head and red skin made him stand out among the crowd.

"This is the Orion Hotel. You all know it's under Truth Seeker protection!" he added, trying to sound confident.

Draz, still hovering in the air, scoffed before launching his attack.

Both groups clashed immediately.

The guards didn't dare step in once the fight escalated. Instead, they moved quickly to evacuate the guests.

Shery stood up. "Boss, we need to get out of here. I think this was planned from the start."

"Don't worry, and just sit there, no one here is strong enough to destroy my barrier."

He motioned to her, and she poured another glass of wine. Taking it, he settled back into his seat, eyes fixed on the fight unfolding before him

The fight started fast. Draz flew down from above, his big wings beating loudly. His crane cut through the air, aiming right at the enemy.

Alder didn't hesitate. He summoned a giant crystal great sword and swung it hard to meet Draz's attack.

The shockwave from their clash followed right after, sending sharp wind bursts across the room. Tables split apart like they were made of cardboard. Even the other fighters nearby had to leap back to avoid getting hit.

One part of the room stayed untouched—the table where Asher sat.

Draz and Alder both noticed him, but neither had the leverage or focus to deal with a third party. Not yet.

"You think you can kill me with just this?" Alder roared. His crystal body began to glow brighter, pulsing with energy.

Looking closer, something metallic was embedded inside his stomach. It lit up, then fired a sharp beam of white light .

But before it could land, a small hexagonal barrier appeared in front of Draz and reflected the beam off to the side.

This barrier was different from Asher's. A small flying drone had set it up, hovering close to Draz like a guard dog.

"Pathetic. A magical being relying on technology," Alder scoffed, his voice full of disdain.

Draz didn't flinch. He ignored the insult and kept attacking.

At first, both sides were evenly matched.

But after trading a few blows, more Crimzahr members burst in through the windows. They didn't even bother to land—just attacked mid-air, surrounding their enemies.

BOOOOOM!

Another explosion rocked the room, this time from Draz landing a clean hit.

Before Alder could stood back up, dark red chains shot out from behind and slammed him to the ground. They wrapped tightly around his arms, legs, and neck, forcing his body flat against the floor.

His subordinates didn't stand a chance without him. Every last one of them were taken out—burned, torn apart, or crushed . The fight was over.

"You will regret this!" he roared in anger.

Draz sneered, "You think your little gang matters just because you push some drugs across a few galaxies? This is what happens when you mess with the wrong people."

Leaning in, Draz spat out, "Where's that item you stolen ? Give it to me now—or I'll kill you right now."

Alder clenched his teeth, eyes burning with anger. "This is a neutral planet. If you lay a hand on me, you'll be executed right here."

"Are you really that dumb?" Draz sneered with contempt. "You honestly think we'd be this bold without a strong backer?"

Alder's eyes widened in panic. He came here believing this was a neutral planet, protected by the Truth Seekers.

"No, you're lying!" Alder shouted, his voice cracking.

"Am I?" Draz slammed his fist into the diamond man's chest.

Cracks appeared across its crystal body, and dark blood started to seep through the fractures.

"AHHHHH!" Alder screamed, pain ripping through him like fire.

"Tell me! Where's the item?" he growled, tightening his grip.

Alder's screams echoed through the room, but no answer came. He refused to back down, even if it cost him his life.

"Enough."

The room froze. All eyes turned to the source of the voice. It was Asher.

"Let him go. If you don't, I'll take down everyone here to protect my client."

His powerful aura filled the room, weighing down the air and freezing anyone who tried to move.

Next, he held up his ability rank card, clear for all to see—[Starfront - S Rank].

Everyone swallowed hard, aware that he wasn't bluffing.

"Sir, why is Starfront intervening?" Draz forced the words out, but his terrified expression could not be hidden. No one warned him about facing an S Rank.

The gap between A and S Rank was huge . It was like comparing gold to shit.

"All you need to know is that man is under Starfront protection, so you better scram before I change my mind ." he commanded.

Asher looked fine right now, but deep inside, he was furious.

Why?

The guild leader contacted and pushed him into this mission. Worse, the order came straight from those controlling the Hyperion Portals.

'Can't believe I'm back to my roots,' he sighed, finding it ironic that he was doing the same thing he did in high school—being a muscle for hire.

Before, it was for her mother's sake. Now, it was for Index.
