Title: First Encounter with the Lady of Coming and Going.

The only question was, which one to buy?

Arriving at the instrument store, Kamijou Mutsumi found himself suffering from choice paralysis as he looked at the dazzling array of guitars on the shelves. Maybe I should just ask Mutsumi and see which one she likes.

As he thought this and was about to take out his phone, a soft and clear voice sounded beside him.

"Um, excuse me, Senpai, could you help me with something?"

Kamijou Mutsumi turned around and saw a red-haired girl with a sunny and cheerful aura—clearly a popular girl. "I told you, it's not 'Lady of Coming and Going'!" the girl corrected him first, then asked, "Really?" She wasn't going to be so easily fooled. "Then our school is..."

"Tsukinomori!" he answered instantly.

"Even if you're going to guess, at least put some effort into it. Tsukinomori is an all-girls' school!" Hearing his answer, the girl was instantly covered in black lines. "And it's a prestigious school that only young ladies can attend. Don't tell me you're a young lady?"

"Can't a man be a young lady? Are you discriminating against men? It's because of narrow-minded people like you that the world can't have peace!" He was back in his element.

"Wait, you..." Like Anon, this popular girl was also stunned by this world-bending punch. However, her reaction was much faster. "Senpai, is it fun to tease me?" The girl puffed out her cheeks slightly, looking incredibly cute.

"Kamijou Mutsumi." It had to be said, it was impressive that she could still talk to him calmly after all that.

"So, Kita-chan, what did you need my help with?"

"Kita-chan... Senpai, you really get familiar fast, don't you!" she retorted with a slight blush, before Kita—the Lady of Coming and Going—finally got to the point. "Well, I've recently become interested in playing the guitar and want to buy one to practice, but I don't know much about it. Could Senpai recommend one for me?"

"Actually, for a beginner, any guitar is pretty much the same." How could he refuse such a request from such a cute junior? "The main thing is not to buy the wrong thing. Basses and guitars look pretty similar!"

"Senpai, you're underestimating me, aren't you?" However, hearing his warning, Kita puffed out her cheeks again. "No matter what, I wouldn't mistake a bass for a guitar!"

"A bass has four strings, and a guitar has six," Kita said, and then, as expected, she picked up a black six-string bass identical to the one in the anime.

"A guitar."

"No, I can't play the guitar. I'm buying it for my fiancée."

"Eh? Fiancée?" Kita looked as if she had been shocked.

"Is there a problem?"

"It's just that 'fiancée' and things like that... feel like something you only see in novels and manga!" Kita said what she was thinking. "I didn't expect Senpai to already have a fiancée. She must be a super cute girl, right?"

"My Mutsumi is super cute!"

"Mutsumi? Senpai, are you talking about..."

"Wakaba Mutsumi. Kita-chan should know her, right?"

Kita: ?

Could it be that Senpai is one of those chuunibyou otaku who likes to call anime characters his wife? She didn't have any prejudice against that, but she had heard that such otaku were usually unpopular in class and often lonely. Because they don't like real people, they like anime characters instead. Is that why Senpai is so annoying when he talks?

Kita's gaze towards Kamijou Mutsumi unconsciously filled with a bit more care. Although she couldn't change anything, at least she wouldn't discriminate against him for it.
