Naruto, are you all so good at self-seduction

Chapter 20: Chapter 20: While I Was Drinking, You Didn’t Watch

The silver-white dawn gradually revealed a faint red, and the morning glow reflected on the windows of countless households.

The alarm clock rang again, causing irritability.

The harsh sound lasted about a minute before it automatically stopped.

The blanket covering his head was finally pulled down, revealing his face.

Stretching his legs, he opened the window.

But Kanzuki was off today.

"Oboro, you are a very talented person. Don't let me down."

Kanzuki reported to Danzo about his task failure and did not face any punishment; all he received was this one line.

It was easy to understand, as the task itself was just a decoy.

Danzo's attitude had changed somewhat.

Knock, knock, knock!

The window was suddenly knocked on, and Tenten poked her head in from outside.

"Wake up, Oboro!"

She saw Kanzuki's pajama shirt casually open at the front, revealing his firm skin and delicate collarbone, causing her to blush.

"I'm going to school!"

The outside fell silent again.

Kanzuki's consciousness was still a bit hazy; he rubbed his forehead and sat up in bed.

What to do today...

Without social or entertainment activities, Kanzuki was not particularly interested in this day off; in fact, he adapted better to a tight and busy task-oriented life.

When he immersed himself in a single task, it kept him from overthinking.

Getting up to dress and wash, he opened the fridge only to find it empty except for an almost empty carton of milk.

Let's eat out, and conveniently get some groceries today.

Kanzuki thought to himself as he dressed in dark casual clothes and stepped out of the house.

The street in the early morning was somewhat quiet, the rustling voices seemed a bit distant.

"Good morning, Oboro!"

"Is that what you're wearing today for your day off?"

"Even for a day off, waking up this early? Really diligent."

"Haha."

Arriving at a shop, the owner recognized Kanzuki and greeted him warmly.

"Come for breakfast, Oboro? That's rare."

"A toast and a soup, please." Kanzuki just stated.

"You really came at the right time; it's the last one." The owner handed him a piece of toast wrapped in greased paper and a steaming bowl of miso soup.

After paying, Kanzuki took a bite of the toast, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, smelling of rich milk.

"Is Oboro off today?" the owner engaged in conversation.

"Yeah." Kanzuki casually replied, taking another sip of miso soup, slightly frowning.

A bit salty…

"Don't say that! Haha, maybe you two will hit it off nicely."

"That won't happen."

The shopkeeper remained cheerful, unfazed by Kanzuki's indifference, chuckling to himself.

"Hey there, a toast and a miso soup."

At that moment, another person approached Kanzuki, cheerfully speaking.

From the corner of his eye, Kanzuki recognized the person somewhat.

"Oh, it's Asuma! I'm really sorry, but the last bowl of miso soup has just been sold."

"I've never gotten my order so quickly at this time!" Asuma expressed his surprise.

"Today's the weekend; the last one went to this young man here." The owner pointed to Kanzuki with a smile.

Only then did Asuma turn his attention to the handsome youth standing beside him, glancing over and realizing he didn't recognize him.

He glanced at the steaming bowl of miso soup in Kanzuki's hands and felt regretful.

This is the place with the best flavor…

Kanzuki noticed his gaze and looked at the cup in his hand, suddenly offering it to Asuma.

"Eh?" Asuma was taken aback.

"I've already had some. If you don't mind." Kanzuki said while still eating the toast.

"Uh, thanks." Asuma finally reacted, smiling and reaching out to take it.

"No need to thank me, it's 20 Ryo."

"..."

Asuma's hand froze in mid-air as he glanced at the price tag on the shop's menu that read "Miso Soup 10 Ryo."

Kanzuki looked at him calmly, the hot soup in the cup continuously steaming.

"This cup only costs 10 Ryo." Asuma said.

"I know." Kanzuki said coolly.

"You've had it?"

"Yeah."

Asuma couldn't help but chuckle at this little kid, "So that first sip is worth 10 Ryo! You're selling it to me for 20?"

"What about it?" Kanzuki looked at him sideways.

"Who told you to come late?"

"Furthermore…"

"When I was drinking, you didn't watch."

Asuma paused, feeling that something was off with the other's statement.

Seeing he was silent, Kanzuki shrugged, "Forget it."

With that, he tilted his head back and finished drinking the miso soup in one gulp.

"Thanks for the treat."

He left the empty cup on the shop counter and turned to leave, the last phrase felt like it was directed at the shop owner.

"Hey."

"Hey?"

"Hey! Asuma!"

Asuma snapped back to reality, realizing the shop owner had been calling him.

"Ah?"

"Do you want anything else?" the shop owner asked with a laugh.

"... Whatever."

Asuma glanced at the empty cup on the counter, then back at Kanzuki's departing figure, unable to help muttering, "Who is this kid?"

"You mean him?" The owner brought over a box of hot milk, handing it to Asuma along with the toast.

"His name is Kanzuki Oboro, he's a ninja."

So this is Kanzuki Oboro?

Asuma was even more astonished.

Is he the little kid who single-handedly defeated Genma and those four?

He seems, aside from being a bit hard to get along with, quite harmless…

After breakfast, Kanzuki returned home, having nothing to do, and took a nap.

He slept until the afternoon, washed his face, and then went out to shop for supplies.

Shopping just meant getting some food for storage.

At the last convenience store.

Kanzuki was in the drinks aisle looking for beverages since he and Tenten had already finished everything at home.

Maybe I should buy some alcohol… I don't think I've had much since coming to this world…

If Tenten finds out, she'd probably scold me…

Really, what am I afraid of?

Kanzuki thought, eyeing the bottles of alcohol on the shelf.

But would the owner sell it to him? Even though he didn't care about the Three Forbidden Rules of Shinobi, alcohol was still considered 18 and above, and normal shops wouldn't sell to minors.

Kanzuki didn't look mature enough to lie about his age.

If necessary, he could just use some genjutsu or henge no jutsu.

He thought to himself, preparing to grab a bottle of alcohol from the shelf and put it in his bag.

But at the moment he reached out, a slender, pale arm appeared beside him, reaching for the same bottle of alcohol.

Kanzuki raised an eyebrow and looked up, his expression becoming somewhat strange.

What is going on today...

The person in front of him seemed to just notice Kanzuki's presence, and upon seeing him, was startled and almost cried out.

She was wearing a dark red casual long dress, and the other hand was holding a bag that already contained several bottles of alcohol.

This woman really loves alcohol and the color red, Kanzuki thought.

Why should I run away? She hasn't done anything wrong.

It was the bastard in front of him…

Kanzuki clearly saw that but ignored it, instead putting the alcohol into his bag and turning to leave.

"Stop!"

"That's my alcohol!"

"Are you not going to take another bottle?" Kanzuki said.

"I saw it first."

Though she hadn't recognized Kanzuki at first, she knew he had been standing in front of that shelf for a while.

"Well then you shouldn't drink." Kanzuki said calmly.

"What does that have to do with you?" Kanzuki said indifferently.

At this moment, Kanzuki looked directly at her, suddenly taking a step closer.

"What do you want to do?"

She didn't respond, and Kanzuki approached her, with his deadpan eyes staring into her eyes.

"Are you going to rob me?"

If it came to a fight, he probably wouldn't be her match.

However, just as this thought flashed through her mind, Kanzuki suddenly made his move, grabbing her arm tightly and slamming her against the shelf.

Genjutsu…

"Y-you… don't be reckless…"

Kanzuki scoffed at her fearful expression.

"How am I being reckless?"

"I think I've heard something similar before." Kanzuki replied.

She felt her mind was in a jumble, not knowing how to react.

"Apologize to me."

Suddenly, Kanzuki's cold voice rang in her ears.

Kanzuki smirked, leaning in closer to her.

"Apologize." Kanzuki repeated coldly.

"Umm..."

A strong sense of humiliation overwhelmed her heart, making her hold back tears.

"I'm sorry…"

As the footsteps grew fainter, she slowly raised her head, only to find Kanzuki had disappeared, leaving a bottle of alcohol beside her.

Damn it!

She fiercely grabbed the bottle and smashed it against the wall in the distance.

Smash!

The bottle shattered brilliantly, with shards and liquid splattering everywhere.

The convenience store owner came running to see the mess on the wall and floor, frowning.

"What's going on? Did you do this? What the hell is this? You'll have to compensate for this."

Smash!

Another bottle was thrown.
