Chapter 11: Talk 1
A\N: Before anyone complains about their fights, I'll say this first. They're still children barely 8 years old. Don't expect overpowered moves until they're back from their task given by Hagoromo. Now they are still exploring their options.

"I admit defeat this time," Indra said with a sigh. I smiled and nodded my head, appearing calm on the outside but internally, I exhaled a sigh of relief.
I might be strong currently, but I don't know what Indra might cook up. My techniques were either done without hand signs or with one hand seal.
I don't know if he could copy my one-hand sign technique like the Chidori current, but even if he could, he would have to understand the principle guiding the technique.
I'm not sure he knows this, but whether he knows or not, I'm not going to create a technique he can copy at will.
I'm planning on having all my techniques done in Avatar style, not with hand signs. I could minimize the seals to one, just to show off in the future.
I don't know about others, but even though I like and practice hand signs, I don't necessarily need to perform them.
As the saying goes 'better to have them but not need them than to need them but not have them
I am going to create all known techniques with hand signs but still perform them like benders. After all, I'm not planning on going on a full-blown massacre any time soon, so I can take my time.
With all these thoughts going through my head, barely 5 seconds passed in real-time.
"Thanks for letting me win" I replied like cultivators usually do, and continued "but you were strong yourself, I didn't know you knew air style techniques"
Smiling at my praise, he answered "But of course, who do you take me for? It was a matter of time. I also didn't expect you'd take the lightning technique I showed you to such a great extent. How did you do it?" He asked in innocent curiosity.
I guess he hasn't become detached from us yet.
"Oh, that's easy, I just had to pour more Chakra into my fist but keep it controlled, not contained. Lightning is destructive by nature so that means containing it is like going against its very nature, so you just have to control and push it towards another direction with your body as the guide, trust me, I am speaking from experience"
I don't know if he understood what I said, after all, I just took what Iroh told Zuko and even Zuko didn't understand.
Nodding his head in an understanding manner, he looked at me wanting to ask something else, but before he could Ashura rushed towards us with stars in his eyes, as he exclaimed.
"Wowww. Brother Shun is super strong, I didn't know you could do that, but my big brother was awesome. Did you see it? There were two big brothers and they were like whoosh and then there was a beautiful firebird and wind and then they were like boom"
Ashura was fanboying for Indra like there was no tomorrow while doing imitations of hand signs Indra performed.
Indra and I both smiled as we listened to Ashura's excited bubbling.
After some time of receiving looks of respect and admiration from the villagers, the three of us headed home to do whatever we were doing during our free time.
On the way home, I turned to Indra and asked "Hey Indra, can you teach me how you made a physical clone of yourself that could perform techniques?"
Not looking bothered, he nodded and said "Sure I don't mind teaching you but you'll also have to teach me how you use lightning like that."
He smiled as he mentioned the lightning I used. I guess he's still a little bit of a child if he's getting excited by learning something new.
Not minding the bargain he proposed, I smiled excitedly at the prospect of learning the most hax technique in this world second only to Obito's Kamui, I said
"Sure, that's what brothers do, after all, they help each other"
I know. I know. I sounded off, but I gotta say it, I got to start now to put peaceful and familial reasoning into his head, after all even if I want to maintain Canon, I'm not heartless enough to neglect something bad that'll happen to my family
Pausing for a moment before continuing forward, he mumbled "That's what family do huh?"
I heard it with my enhanced sense but I didn't comment. Let him think about it.
Ashura, on the other hand, knew nothing of what we were talking about, after all to him our techniques were cool, and when he tried learning all the complicated knowledge and hand signs necessary, he gave up.
Ashura doesn't like violence after all so he doesn't see a need to learn these techniques...yet.
Reaching home we went about our business without disturbance. Indra to his chakra training, Ashura to his.... whatever he's doing, and me to my research on seals.
I've recently made a little breakthrough in my research on seals.
I didn't know what to exactly expect but the second I saw the seal, I somehow instinctively understood how to work with it. I could... maybe copy it but not tweak it. I did know.
I understood some underlying principles by reading the kanji and how they worked! I was SO excited!
To explain simply what I found out…
I did not know the inner workings of the seal but I could still read the kanji that made the seal.
Space. Withdraw, Intent. Store, Intent.
And some equations alongside it.
Correction. Some nonsensical equation alongside it held it all together and described the parameters of the space. The trigger was chakra and the space holder was the scroll.
I put one and one together. I also brainstormed for any 'possible' theory…
I was not sure but my mind played with a theory. Quite an idiotic theory. A theory that said that sealing is using a Kanji, imbuing it with chakra, and waiting for the 'magical' effect the intent in the chakra provides when it collides with the Kanji.
I also noticed that two of the same seals had different setups. It was as if they were written by a different...
That is when I discovered it.
Oh... I opened his mouth into a silent 'O'.
"I see! They use different sealing languages!"
It made sense, kinda. Both seals were in Kanji but the way they were written was different. Meaning a different maker and different 'language'.
Except Hagoromo was trying stuff out or he and Hamura wrote the different seals.
Where one had 'Space', another had 'Storage', and so on.
Just like magic and chanting in magical worlds, a less experienced person may chant a whole sentence before shooting a fireball while an expert just says "fireball".
It's the same fireball but a different process.
But then... Why did they function almost the same?
I took out a paper and let my instincts lead me.
I wrote on the paper while pouring chakra into the ink.
I wrote 'Space'. Withdraw, Intent. Store, Intent.' and added parameters.
The same from the first seal scroll. The catch was, I did it in English.
I took a kunai and put it on paper with my English storage seal. I took a distance while pulling back from the scroll and with a chakra string activated the storing function.
The kunai disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"Phew. So it works that way too? Neat! I just discovered my Sealing language that this world won't be able to decipher!" I almost jumped from giddiness.
I then used a chakra string to activate the Withdrawal function and imagined the kunai. Needless to say, it worked.
The problem though was the parameters...
I groaned and promptly facepalmed. Imagine addition and subtraction in kanji. Now, this scroll was quite a standard one and I suspected it was a very simple piece of fuinjutsu.
So, subtraction and addition didn't even need to be used as they only needed a definition of the created space.
But... What about spatial fuinjutsu? Containment one? Barriers? Heck... Bijuu seals?
The shit hits the fan and the seal is as long as an entire fucking scroll. Not to say ineffective as heck since this world is still in its ancient times, but mathematics? Pfft.
With enough progress made, I made sure to understand this principle perfectly before stepping out of the room to visit Indra and talk about the clone technique.
After all, if I want to hasten my progress, I need that hax technique. Plus I am sure my chakra capacity is high enough. Hagoromo made sure all our Chakra capacity is equal to each other.
Walking towards Indra's room, I was approached by a villager working as a maid or an attendant, whatever it's called now.
According to her, Hagoromo was requesting my presence in his study or room whatever that place is. It's basically multipurpose for the old man
When I reached, I was directly invited inside by the old man. Standing in his presence and trying to use my new spirit sense on him, I immediately felt like vomiting due to the amount of energy I felt from him.
Noticing my condition, he placed his palm on my back and circulated his chakra in my body, and relieved my nausea.
"You shouldn't have done that young Shun," he said in a stern tone
Hearing his stern tone I immediately felt ashamed as I lowered my head and muttered "I'm sorry"
"Hahaha, don't mind it young Shun, I was merely reminding you. It could be harmful, you know."
He laughed it off to relieve the already uneasy atmosphere. And I must say, it worked splendidly.
"Thank you old man"
He replied with a nod and smiling. He turned around and sat on his mat in a lotus position. He then said
"Young Shun, I've been meaning to have a conversation with you"
I perked up at what he had to say, bringing my full attention to this conversation and using my thought acceleration to the fullest to analyze and memorize what he has to say.
