To say that I was nervous will be an understatement. I was downright freaking out right now. Why some may ask? Isn't it obvious, this is someone who is a pinnacle existence in this world, has an eye that can see all, resurrect the dead, and a body that is just natural energy in and of itself? He can practically sense me from a mile away. He's the ancestor of three clans of which one is known for their sensory ability, to the point of feeling emotions. {A\N: Uzumaki clan Kagura mind eye gives them the ability to sense emotions}

Not knowing what to do about it, I tried to calm myself down, though I don't think it was working since I could still feel my heart beating rapidly. Resigning myself to fate I expressionlessly followed behind Ashura into a room where I saw a middle-aged man sitting cross-legged on a bed-like structure

Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, the man himself, was sitting in front of me with his eyes closed and a smile on his lips that shows that he knows we were there.

Hagoromo is a tall and pale-skinned man, who has deep wrinkles and a strong jawline in his elderly age. He has spiky, shoulder-length, pale brown hair, with a chin-length, braided lock hanging in front of his left ear. He also sported a goatee, which was short in his younger years and later tapered down to his waist in his old age. Hagoromo has a pair of horn-like protrusions extending from either side of his forehead. He also has a red Rinnegan-like marking in the center of his forehead referred to as his Third Eye:Daisan no Me. In the anime, this marking appeared when he first awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and Rinnegan. Hagoromo wore a white, full-length kimono with a pattern of six black magatamas around a high collar, beneath which, he wore a necklace which was also made up of six black magatamas. On the back of his kimono was a larger, black Rinnegan marking with a pattern of nine magatamas arranged in three rows three beneath it.

Hagoromo is a man who sought peace by spreading his wisdom across the world. He was exceptionally wise, as he was able to bring about a great change to the world by simply disseminating the principles of chakra and his religion.

"Father look, I made a new friend" Ashura enthusiastically introduced, looking at his father.

"Father this is Shun" and looking at me he said "Shun this is my father"

With a bow, I said "my name is Shun, nice to meet you"

He smiled as he looked at me and answered

"Nice to meet you boy, my name is Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, thank you for taking care of my son"

Seeing and hearing his polite words threw me off and I didn't know what to say. Nervously I said while waving my hands

"No no no, it was Ashura who took care of me Hagoromo-sama"

In my nervousness, I didn't even know how I put the 'sama' in his name while addressing him.

Still smiling he said

"No, thank you for being his friend at least. He and his elder brother don't have anyone around their age to play with and will address them normally without being respectful"

Not knowing how to go from there I just said the first thing that came to mind

"No no, Ashura just found me outside the village today and brought me here. I don't even know where I am now and what I am to do now"

There was a moment of silence and I didn't have the illusion to think that he doesn't know that I am new to this area so I didn't bother hiding the truth.

"I see," he said before turning to Ashura and saying "You did good Ashura, this is what Ninshu is all about, lending a helping hand to those in need and taking care of those we ought to take care of"

Ashura nodded his head though I doubt he understands what his father is saying from the look in his eye.

Smiling at Ashura's antics, he continued

"Ashura from today, Shun is your responsibility, take care of him and make sure his stay here is comfortable"

Ashura nodded with an excited look in his eyes that he has gotten a new playmate alongside his brother.

Looking at me this time around he said

"Anything you need feel free to ask Ashura or come to me personally if anything is bothering you. Also, feel free to use the library and every morning come out for our morning classes and meditations"

Nodding my head, I said

"Thank you for taking care of me Hagoromo-sama"

"You can go now, I don't think Ashura can stand here doing nothing any longer"

Bowing my head once more I turn around to see Ashura already trying to pull me out of the room.

Allowing myself to be pulled or more not having the strength to resist the pull, I followed Ashura back to where Indra was.

The little Indra was by himself studying seriously, something I doubt Ashura could do. Though in the anime it was mentioned that Ashura's childhood was peaceful and joyous, spending his time either blissfully alongside his father and brother, or playing with the village children. When old enough, the two began studying Ninshū under their father in the hopes of one of them becoming the great sage's successor. As a child, Asura lived in the shadow of his genius older brother Indra. Having displayed no natural talent himself, Asura came to realize the value of others and the power of the friends and allies he made. Eventually, he awakened his power which equaled Indra's own. In the anime, despite still admiring his brother's talents, he grew concerned for Indra as he continued to mysteriously grow colder and more distant from others.

Though, as I am here, I will see what I can do about these two brothers. If I can motivate Ashura better and acknowledge Indra better I wonder what will happen. But one thing is for sure, I am not siding with either of them when the time comes.

If I am not mistaken, it's around this time that Indra will discover the mysteries of the hand seal and help the village use chakra in more domesticated ways. Thereby increasing the functionality of the village.

Still, I know that along the line people will still go back to their mindset set on physical and spiritual aspects of energy and neglect the development of chakra. And that's when Black Zetsu will start misleading Indra.

Sigh. What am I even thinking about, I don't even have any special bloodline or something of the like and I'm already talking about the future.

Well, first things first. I got to get along well with both of them and develop good communication and social skill.
